I don't wish to be unnecessarily crude, but I would like to present what I consider to be a useful and valid analogy.

I view Donald Trump as The Enema Within, and I can't wait for him to be reinserted into the White House so that he can flush out the bowels of government.

The country is in dire need of a good cleansing, and Trump can stimulate the elimination of a lot of unnecessary toxic waste.

Par-fetto, Tim! Vote Donald, for its laxative effects!

Not to mention how our body-politic eyes have gotten more than a little crossed from holding it in so long.

He will have to go on the offensive (offensive) to get any purgative effects underway before the reactionaries start tying Gulliver to the ground again with their million tiny-ropes.

Trump's first term doesn't indicate he'll do any better in a second one.

Letting the non-natural born citizen Nikki Haley back into an office where she can do further damage could completely negate the good that RFK Jr. can do.

I cannot believe we are not talking about this more openly. What he did was divisive, deadly and unAmerican.

Camping in southern Wisconsin. Carpeted with Trump signs everywhere . Some of the largest signs I’ve ever seen, also. A lit up one on top of a silo. Loving it. I might even see a Holstein with a sandwich sign over her back. Yeah, that’s a cheesy remark. But…….

Signed: former lefty who looked into Biden’s glowing red eyes while wishing me death and uttered NOPE.

I’m in the blue country of the Chicago burbs. There isn’t a single sign for anything or anyone in any yard … except mine. Yesterday I added to my three Trump yard signs a fourth, 4’ x 4’ sign attached to a tree trunk that looks straight up our street and can be seen from the minute you turn onto our street. It’s glorious. 😄

As I found out here during my child-rearing years nobody ever speaks up if there is a risk it could make them an “outsider”. Social status quo was a strong force. I regularly was the only one to ever speak out what no one else did, not for shock value but for a “no-nonsense,” “let’s be honest here” value. I was never intimidated to not speak up because it never occurred to me to be afraid of being hated. But oh how I was. People quickly made it hard for my children to play with theirs. That was the first time I ever felt hesitant to continue to speak my truth because it was hurting my kids, and then I realized that’s how they controlled everyone and the preferred narratives of the masses. My kids did get hurt. So did I. But here I am today with the largest friggin sign within a mile of my house. And I’m certain others are both scared to follow suit but also wishing they too had that freedom to do so. I love my freedom more than being popular. Nothing has changed in 18 years around here. 🤣

Yes. One house in our two contiguous neighborhoods (so, maybe 50 houses?) has several Harris-Walz signs. One (a Korean pastor) has 5 Trump signs. I have two large Trump flags (each with a different message) and 3 lawn signs--each with a different message. Those are the only public expressions of intent. Our cars bear "Trump team" stickers. We both wear our Trump hats (mine has orange "hair"!) when going out. I will not be "cowarded" by the left. Kind of a political variant of, "If you deny me before men, I will deny you before my Father")

The irony of the “enemy within” liberal freakout is as it’s repeated dozens of times over multiple days on different tv shows, it essentially gets people thinking about that possibility when they would never have otherwise, and maybe, just maybe, that little light bulb goes on in their brain and they finally wake up and realize it’s true. The Democrats are the enemy within, and they are exactly what they accuse Donald Trump of being.

I was in Maine last weekend, the Harris Walz signs far outnumber the Trump Vance signs. Disappointing but hey, it's Maine. I am hopeful that most Trump voters just decided not to put up signs to avoid the blowback from their neighbors. I'll be voting early in SC this week. #MAHA #MAGA

I do think many folks are still afraid to put up a Trump sign, especially in overwhelmingly liberal areas.

I live in a deep red rural area where I am certain that Harris/Walz voters are afraid to put out signs. Their

impulse is to project their behavior onto conservatives. If this were a liberal enclave, they would be dealing unkindly with their conservative neighbors.

I certainly am.

I had a Republican bumper sticker back in my handsomer days at a festival in the wrong neighborhood and had my car "keyed" as a memorable consequence. Even so, I have been, only recently, shamed into putting signs in my yard, by a friend who's used to baiting the lions. Gritting my teeth, closing my eyes, standing with Trump and Vance and Musk, none of whom would be a close friend in ordinary times, but welcome (welcome) sights at the barricades.

I agree, Jenna, that people might still be afraid to put up TRUMP signs. But, I think, MUCH LESS than in 2016. Here in Oregon, where no one from a national contest ever campaigns (seriously, we don’t even get national commercials - all local), I see a random Harris sign here and there. But I have seen a BIG increase in the number of homes flying an American flag outside, which in Portland is the way you say “I’m a Trump supporter” with a smaller risk of your car getting keyed or your house vandalized or your neighbors refusing to speak with you anymore.

I’m taking that as a good sign also. Oregon won’t go red, but maybe it can be closer than expected. (Still moving to Texas though 🤪.)

Well down here in Southern Commifornia, Trump had a HUGE rally out at Coachella (minus the music) recently. And very well attended.

Kakala held an elitist fundraiser at The Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco in late September. The streets were blocked around the hotel all the way down to Chinatown blocks away, traffic into the venue was seriously controlled and they had metal detectors to get into the hotel.

It's easy to explain :

Progressive and liberal rhetorical flushes are perfectly acceptable, expected, and not at all to be vilified. They're wholesome and uplifting.

Conservative rhetorical flushes are, erm, verboten? They're unspeakably evil, cause trauma in an unsuspecting population, and must be eliminated from social media altogether.

That's the only way we can protect democracy, don't you know? Well, that and stuffing a few ballots and fudging the vote counts - that helps too.

Conservative people need some sort of outward symbol to warn us. I don't know - maybe sew a yellow star over their lips - they are more easily identifiable that way AND they can't speak?

Seriously, we do not hate our media nearly quite so much as we should

Every time the left melts down over Trumps words, I can't help but laugh. Seriously, the man can't say, "Good morning" without them going apoplectic he didn't enunciate to perfection. Don't get me started on Joe Scarborough. The man couldn't fight his way out of a paper bag if someone handed him a pair of scissors. Oh and his comment about military tribunals comes from all that Q nonsense the sheep fell for. And isn't it just so typical of the Left to misinterpret what he said? Anyone with even a modicum of gray matter knows exactly what Trump meant by "the enemy within." He is 100% correct. The Left is having the meltdown because his assessment is spot on and it scares the crap out of them that he sees right through all their BS. It is why they ACCUSE him of what they are actually doing TO him. The only real enemies Trump has are all those who continually harass him, verbally abuse him and anyone around him or supporting him, which is you and me and any other decent God-fearing loving American. The "within" is his very own government and those who swore, on the Bible no less, to be a decent human being and always do the right thing. Ain't none of them doing the right thing. Now you see why it's such a battle between good and evil. Trump's no saint by any stretch but I truly believe he always tries to do the right thing. I believe he goes out of his way to do the right thing. I believe he takes extraordinary measures to do the right thing. He takes no salary. He ALWAYS pays for everything wherever he goes. He may have been born with a silver spoon, which, BTW, is NOT his fault, but he does not eat with a silver spoon. Name another politician or public figure, besides Elon Musk, that does this. Isn't it ironic how the Left demands perfection from all that Trump says or does because it is always their way or the highway as the likes of Pelosi, Chuck You Schumer, et.al. always remind us? Don't sweat the small stuff. Contrary to the Left's belief, they are not in control. Hallelujah! and Amen!

Breathtaking hypocrisy. The left screechingly hurls the wildest, most outlandish accusations at Trump, then calls him every vile name imaginable, and when he dares to make the slightest utterance against them they come totally unglued — faking shock and horror and making more ridiculous claims.

I guess it’s all they have. It’s a way of distracting voters from their horrible leftist policies and the incompetence of their candidates.
