It's easy to explain :

Progressive and liberal rhetorical flushes are perfectly acceptable, expected, and not at all to be vilified. They're wholesome and uplifting.

Conservative rhetorical flushes are, erm, verboten? They're unspeakably evil, cause trauma in an unsuspecting population, and must be eliminated from social media altogether.

That's the only way we can protect democracy, don't you know? Well, that and stuffing a few ballots and fudging the vote counts - that helps too.

Conservative people need some sort of outward symbol to warn us. I don't know - maybe sew a yellow star over their lips - they are more easily identifiable that way AND they can't speak?

Seriously, we do not hate our media nearly quite so much as we should

And another finalist for Observation of the Year 2024:

Seriously, we do not hate our media nearly quite so much as we should.

We need a bumper sticker: "Have you hated the media today?"

No. One better: "HATE the Media (back)."

My bumper sticker says "Shoot your TV". If people stopped watching the garbage we'd be a whole lot better off.

😂 I tell my friends that relentlessly. And send them a meme that says-

Keep Calm and

Kill Your TV.
