Lol. “Morons”… the Watchtower Society is so easy to get into. But there is no honorable way out. 10 hours a months and publishing along with monthly reports…..Apparently Jehovah God will consult your reports to see if you are worthy to survive Armageddon. Quite an outlook. Good luck with that.
yeah just as well I disassociated myself 30 years ago (parents have shunned me since but hey ho, that's the price of autonomy). I was a full time pioneer so I did 90 hours a month! I am putting the public speaking training and presentation writing skills into good use as an author!
TPLD. A sibling married a Mormon many years ago. (Arizona). Her second one. They really were loving and very committed. During that marriage she met with a woman’s group where they spoke truth about LDS. More importantly she became a Christian. Husband found out and long story short he said the Elders told him he MUST divorce her.
Sad. She recoverd and is stable and married again.
So I do have a measure of understanding of your journey.
I was raised “Christian Science”. Another cluster. I have had to extract myself from deep self-hatred and fear. A long and winding road. It is possible. Good to hear your thoughts. Thanks.
TPLD. Latter Day Saints, perhaps?
Jehovah's Witnesses, but interchangeable with the Morons...

Yeah. Sorta concluded you had extracted yourself from the clutches of a life-crushing monster by your nom-de-plume. Good for you.
