My son wrote in his first year at university when at orientation (can't remember the exact question) I'm sick and tired of being told I'm a potential rapist because I'm a man and a racist because I'm white. Can you imagine what that feels like at age 18?

Alicia's avatar

Right?! They're overwhelmed with this leftist bs from an early age. And he was in catholic school his entire life. Even university smh

AJoy's avatar

Yep it’s sickening

My daughter during college

Parent orientation week was subjected to this while we were exploring the campus. Her little group workshop run by a they/them had them

In a circle guessing how many “people” they/them had slept with, it was called “guess my number?” My daughter thought she meant weight or age,,,,but NO it was sexual

Partners! She was so embarrassed and did not want to play along. This they/them

announced “you can never judge a person from the outside….” Wtf?!? We parents were subjected to the Education Dept announcing their titles as they ran on stage screaming out their pronouns! “I’m Billy, I’m a Speech Pathologist major and I go by he/her/them!” We were stunned. This was 7 years ago. Thank goodness my daughter sees through this nonsense but many others don’t and yes they are everywhere!!!

Now it's my turn

WHOAH!! 😳

Omg! Both our kids were starting freshman at the same time. 2019. I think the universities must've all agreed to use the same sicko worksheet. I cannot believe what these kids are being subject to. It's abusive. Your daughter was so innocent and then she had to be bombarded with "body count" and pronouns and all the rest?! It just makes me so angry.

My son showed me the worksheet. He was mortified by the questions. Plus, the worksheet and answer sheet had the students names on them. Our schools are filled with predators.

They/Them needs therapy. Ridiculous, depraved, liberal BS. They/Thems are not normal and we should be shouting it from the rooftops. I know I do.

Dr. Molly Rutherford's avatar

When we went to orientation, the person who gave the tour was a male, wearing fish nets and high heels. University of Kentucky

Lori's avatar

You tell him not to believe the Left BS. None of us do. I am so sorry to hear this. It is truly foul.

You have a very articulate, thoughtful kid. Congratulations!

I think toxic LACK of masculinity is a far bigger problem. The “male” who is 5’8”, 130lbs, has full sleeve and neck tattoos, face piercings, and talks about Che has no idea what a man or woman is.

It’s not just liberal women who are the problem. Liberal men are just as big of one.

Alicia's avatar

I think it's the entire reason we find ourselves in this hellscape of leftism.

I don’t know how it happened that I raised a male child who came out as good as any masculine model you’d want to see. Highly intelligent, muscle-y, joined the Marines and now married to a woman who adores him as they homestead together on their own land in PA. I thank God that although I’m sure I made many mistakes he grew big and strong into a man I’m proud to call my son.

It didn’t just happen Maureen, you were there every step of the way.

And praying for Gods protection on that boy every day of his life had something to do with it too!

Alicia's avatar

You did that. That's how it happened. Well done!

I am a mom of two adult men. Oldest married his HS gf and is Girl Dad to two.

The younger is still looking for his mate and has been through buzz-saw relationships with narcissists that send him into his bunker to hide. He is convinced he is the problem. Maybe. But there is no denying these women are Toxic.

“It’s literally the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do, because I have to be, I feel like, ready 24/7,” the mother of eight and ten-year-old boys told HuffPo. “I have to remain vigilant every moment I’m around my sons.”

That's not a "mother." That's a "warden."

AJoy's avatar

So proud my strapping son is all that 💪 AND getting married next week to a fabulous woman who will make a great mom 💕🙌🫶 🎊

Yay for you, momma!! fingers crossed that my #1 will be there shortly. we adore his woman and know that's the next step. I'm ready for the 'grandma' upgrade. now if I can only talk them into home schooling... ;)

Congrats!!!! Wedding bells are ringing!

I feel having a strong mother figure who encourages and respects masculinity is key. That is why I checked coddling as the problem. I have two sons & a daughter so I get to be an expert on both. Lol

As a former middle school teacher, I was known for being a good boy teacher because being a “boy” didn’t bother me. Fart & pick your nose all you want but be prepared for class and be respectful.

There is a balance to be achieved raising boys but most of society has forgotten how to do that.

John Wright's avatar

A good mother is key to raising a boy. My mother hated football, but she supported both my brother and myself playing football. Sometimes a mother has to accept that boys will do boy things!

*rushes out to frame the plethora of post-it notes and birthday cards with penises drawn all over them that I live with every day* 🤣 It’s still my 28-yr old son’s favorite joke to do to me. He even draws them on our carry out containers when we write our names on them. 😆 It’s a yearly game for me to find the penis hidden somewhere on my birthday card. Lol. It brings him joy. 🤷🏼‍♀️ So does my giggling.

Warrior Mom's avatar

that's fracking hilarious!!! sounds like something MY family would do! (damn I wish I could sit here all morning and interact with ya'll but I gotta get my butt onto my work site.)

Jpeach's avatar

Totally agree that a strong mother who encourages and respects masculinity is vital. But, boys need a role model. A strong father, who respects women and can demonstrate what masculinity really is.

Jenna McCarthy's avatar

It’s almost like *GASP* the traditional family unit is ideal!

Katherine A. Ranft's avatar

I completely agree! Since I ended up divorced with a son who had an absent father, I had to make the best of it. In our case, it was better that his father left. Now 30 years old, I playfully ask him, how did I do son?

Lemmincakes's avatar

I deleted mainstream television because of all the advertising telling us how stupid, and inept, and toxic men are. Women can do everything, men can do nothing. It drove me crazy so I deleted them.

Laura Kasner's avatar

I used to love watching King of Queens and Everybody Loves Raymond.

But now my eyes have been opened to the psyop of those shows. Make men look like bafoons, but make sure it’s funny.

Valerie's avatar

I checked coddling too. My youngest is still in college and I am absolutely appalled by the parents page - I often have to call my best friend to vent because I cannot believe the stuff I’m Reading. And it seems to be 90% about a son. Let them figure it out for goodness sakes!

Lori's avatar

I chose that too.

David Nelson's avatar

"In my opinion," you have to "tolerate" childishness in children while "molding" outlooks and behaviors with an eye towards the day adulthood will be sprung on them. The degree that that does not come as a "surprise" to them is the degree to which they will make an easier adjustment to its responsibilities.

I tell my misbehaving grandchildren, "You're going to be a grown-up someday and here's what you're doing right now that grown-ups don't." Stuff like that.

My guess is, it's: "Norms" from Dad; "Unconditional love" from Mom. If one is absent, the other has to take both sets of reins. (And my hat is OFF to those of you who are pulling this off, one step at a time.)

Heather B's avatar

I'm from a Military family, Both parents, all my Uncles, all my male cousins, some of my female cousins. I prefer men who are Alpha males and that doesn't mean toxic to me at all. My father and all my male relatives are protective of women, and brutal to anything that threatens them or their women. A lot of times society swings back and forth like a pendulum on issues, and right now it has swung all the way to the top arc of the left side of insane ideas about masculinity. And as a society, we don't have as many fathers with their children now, since there are so many broken families. So there are not as many healthy role models for boys because the models are not at home. Maybe some of that's from toxic females who bash the fathers who are gone. I voted for too much screen time, and I think it's a big problem for both sexes, because on screen is not the same as healthy family dynamics. I have 2 boys and 1 girl. The girl was harder to raise, btw. My boys are caring, considerate, and highly protective of girls. So maybe it's the toxic ideas of the insane left bashing everything male that is the problem. Definitely not a Tate fan! But he's a reaction to all that hatred of males. IMO.

Tim Pallies's avatar

You remind me of my parents. They reported decades ago that raising their two daughters was more trouble than their four boys.

CynthiaS's avatar

Can confirm! 💯 I’m STILL dealing with 20 something yo young woman issues with both of my daughters.

Warrior Mom's avatar

as the mom of three sons, back when I was pregnant with youngest, my SIL (also my bestie, even though my ex is her brother ;) ) insisted that I was gonna have a girl. I told her that at that point, I would know what to DO with a girl. ;)

Tim Pallies's avatar

I love that you don’t let marital (ex) status dictate cureent friendships!!

Heather B's avatar

That meme about the girl being too dramatic, much like yourself, yeah! LOL.

Katherine A. Ranft's avatar

My mother always said the same about we three girls. The three boys were easier.

Progressive women are a very large part of this issue as well. Can't imagine being brought up by one of them. How awful.

We thank your family for their service to our country. We love our veterans and military.

Heather B's avatar

Thank you! People forget we wouldn't even have a country if it weren't for brave men who fought the British. I'm DAR from both sides of my family. Some came in 1607, the rest in 1621. 💕

Jennifer L.'s avatar

Heather B, I recently read an article about DAR national leadership going woke by welcoming gender-bender XY’s pretending to be women in as members. I think Texas was fighting it tooth and nail but did not win. So it goes with so many national organizations that have turned into (fill in the blank) once leftists were in charge.

Heather B's avatar

yes and the meetings are boring as hell too. I don't go to them.

Lori's avatar

My family is full of veterans too. As far back as I can find, they were in the Civil War. Harder to find records before that time.

Heather B's avatar

I recently discovered that you can often find records easier from AI than from genealogy sites. I was having trouble on one line of ancestors so popped a name and birthdate and place of birth into Gemini and it gave me the line back to England from one of my Virginia 1607 ancestor lines that I had been searching for a long time. So then I asked about 4 other ones and it gave me all of them too. You might give that a whirl.

Steve's avatar

" ... so many broken families." I often think that screen time and divorce rate both detract heavily from quality family time, affecting growing boys and girls too much.

Tim Pallies's avatar

The scary part to me is that it seems that many women can no longer use the word masculinity WITHOUT the word toxic preceding it.

PS Loved this: "Linda Blair look like she was just checking her blind spot"

Vee's avatar

With our first born being a girl, I was hoping for another girl, but we were blessed with one of each and what an adventure it has been. People who insist that there is no difference between the two are gender affirming reality deniers. Men and women are vastly different and it's by design. It's tragic that the social engineers have confused us to the point where we are debating about what makes a man a man and a woman a woman. I never imagined that 2026 would be a world where people are openly removing their genitals while family, friends, and medical doctors support it, but here we are.

Both toxic masculinity and feminism are advanced psychological operations that aims to disrupt society and break up the existance of strong traditional families because strong, courageous, and moral people are much more difficult to control. We need a confused and easier to control population so that the predators in power can enslave us with minimal resistance. This article from Zero Hedge on feminism is worth the quick read: https://www.zerohedge.com/political/top-womens-podcast-encourages-divorce-because-theres-always-something-better

I was blessed with two sons, never did get the girl I wanted to finish with. I hear what you’re saying about finding ourselves in 2026 repairing what the evil left has invested time and money in promoting trannies as normal behavior. I did check out the link, and I have to say I reject the conclusions this misogynist has come to. 1 in 4 chance of pulling a mental case every time you have a date sounds to me like he needs a better class in statistics, and correlation does not equal causation.

Lemmincakes's avatar

Not enough healthy masculinity. Not enough rough housing man time. Too much screen time. Too much coddling. Too many progressive, insane women.

Valerie's avatar

And not enough physical activity. When I was in elementary school we had THREE recesses every day, one mid-morning, 30 min after lunch, and another one mid-afternoon. Kids learn better when they have ample opportunity to get their energy out.

Lori's avatar

Progressive women should be renamed recessive women. Can you imagine being raised by one of those nutcases? No wonder their kids are so fuc*ed up.

Went to see Wildwood last night. The best character was the young boy, Curtis, who starts out as a nerdy, scared kid, and ends up saving the heroine by an action he never wanted to take. It was refreshing to see a portrayal of a young man with courage and decisiveness when it counted. It's also a stunning claymation achievement. Go see it, before the woke crowd chases it off the big screen.

I was fortunate to have been raised from an early age by a single mother and I had 6, yes 6, sisters. My poor mother and I had to endure those drama swings as well as a very modest i.e. poor financial situation. There was no male role model around most of the time or financial support from one. Anyhow, I feel, yes feel, that life experience gave me a better understanding of how to behave towards the opposite sex and yes, older sisters can bring physical harm if needed. I know how to chop wood, been there, done that. I, along with my 2nd wife, hey mistakes were made, built, yes, with our own hands, the mortgage free, lakeside home we live in and neither one of us had ever been in the trades. I can cook up some mighty fine dishes, field strip several varieties of firearms, fix just about anything, thus the 'Mr. Fixit' tshirt from my daughter. I also took a lesson from being poor and am financially secure enough to help my children and family when needed. So, take that all you moronic masculinity haters.

As a mother of three boys (now adults) I can tell you first hand that there was a very obvious bias against boys in the 80's-2000 their educational years. I had to pull one completely out of public schools due to the verbal abuse and educational bias. I would never send a child to any public school. We did not have the huge support available today for home schooling. YOU CAN DO IT.

Vince's avatar

The bias against white heterosexual men continues in 2026.

"No word on how much research funding it took to reach that stunning conclusion."

Truth-in-packaging! I see that you are proposing that EVERY "research study" going forward be required to be published with a label showing "Sources" and "Amounts!" We'd be scanning those labels for "Taxpayers" the way we now scan our food labels for "Trans-fats," looking for "0 %." We would be drawn to articles with "High" concentrations of "Amounts" from "Sources" we want more of. (Everyone just pause for a moment, and imagine it...)

Brilliant!
