I’m thinking if they don’t confirm Bobby, Trump will send someone WAY stronger (without the Democrat traits they actually love) who will then bring Bobby into a position that carries a ton of power with no need for confirmation.

Nice summary, Jenna! You captured very well the mockery the senate typically makes of itself during these hearings when individual senators show themselves to be the fools they are. I greet my two senators (from Oklahoma) each morning with a reminder that we're paying attention. This morning, I used part of your well-articulated commentary -- thanks for the help!

"Dear Senator Lankford,

To noone's surprise, the US Senate and the Senate Finance Committee's treatment of RFK, Jr. has been disgraceful. He's a patriot. He's knows more about the dysfunction of the corrupt health bureaucracy and how to fix it than any of his preening interrogators. He is our best chance to save the sinking ship, and we're lucky he's willing to serve his country.

Jenny McCarthy summed up the travesty well today: 'Bobby and MAHA aren’t going away. This administration knows that. The corrupt senators who oppose him know that. If he somehow doesn’t get confirmed as Secretary of HHS ... there will be another role for him. . . . [H]is message is reaching people. It’s galvanizing people. It’s resonating. And now—thanks to the beauty of free speech that we still enjoy in this county—the traitors who took an oath to represent their constituents and failed miserably in their duties are being exposed as the crooked, hypocritical pharma shills they are."

Please do your part to confirm Mr. Kennedy."

This meme of Sanders in a Onesie also gave me a laugh after the hearing which was torture for me to watch.

I appreciate Bobby even more now for what he's doing - he knew this was how it would be. And Cheryl is my hero for sitting there for 3(?) hours watching her husband still show up with his passionate vision for a healthy America even under attack. I saw some posts that Tulsi's confirmation hearing today may be even more brutal. I wish it wasn't at the same time as Bobby's so I could support her.

The irony here is, Bernie’s even older than I, therefore, by today’s ludicrous standards, he isn’t even fully vaxxed! Kids today get 2 shots AT BIRTH, SYMTHETOC vitamin K and HepB, yes, an STD shot, at birth. Little hoes may crawl

off and start pumping themselves

out any second. All this because everyone knows, all kids are born pharmaceutically deficient, right? Same with all pets— (yet wildlife

still abounds without benefit of Pfizer & Merck — or is it “Merch”?) I had maybe 5 vaccines as a kid. I bet when Bernie was a kid and dinosaurs roamed the firmament, vaccines weren’t even invented. Yet somehow he’s alive and able to point out Onsies. Will

Watched from 10 a.m. to 1:30 when it ended. Sure looked like the big fight: Pharma vs. Kennedy. I was so embarrassed by what passes for "senators". Their ignorance of the topics. Exempli gratia: Sanders on onesies. Really? "Mr. Kennedy, will you commit to having your organization [this after RFK had repeatedly pointed out that he was no longer affiliated with CHD--and now I understand why he severed the connection] stop selling these onesies?" Wyden freaking out and making it pretty darned clear that he owes even his pocket change to Pharma. The woman who ranted about her depression (and so she's in Congress?), how helpful to her were SSRI's, and who didn't want to hear about the possible connection between those drugs and school shootings. Has she ever read a package insert? (spoiler: I have and do).

The Onesies were a great idea and great product. This marketing effort for children's clothes also goes to the issue of "free speech."

Thanks for this. I wish I could have watched this historic but prize-winning glop of yuck with you because I'm sure you would have made me laugh a few times. The most awful thing about it to me was the most obvious thing, which is that certain senators are bought and paid for by Big Pharma. Excuse my French but Senators Sanders, Warren & Co just essentially crapped all over not RFK but themselves.

Wyden is my Senator. What a snake. I was glad Bobby called him out as the liar he is. I still cherish a hope that he will get confirmed, but I also trust God. Back when Trump "lost" the 2020 election, it looked like we were going to lose everything: starting with free speech. But now we see it was the best thing that could have happened because Trump was preparing and the country saw how evil the Left is. We literally would not have had any hope of saving the country in 2020 because the people would not have understood it and Trump really didn't either yet. So, if Bobby is rejected, you are correct: he can still have a big impact and maybe more than if he were in government. Praying people, pray! We know that God is sovereign and determines what comes to pass. Ask the King of Kings and Lord of Lords to have mercy on us (and the world) and ordain that RFK be confirmed. Nevertheless, not my will, but thine be done. Even Jesus said that in the garden. The devil thought he had won, but three days later he learned instead he had been defeated. The bad guys are going to lose, but the battle is epic. Never give up, never give in!

Expand full comment

Did you notice how awful many of these senators look (like Wyden)? They all look old and haggard, which might be a side-effect of the vaccines they love so much. Of course, many of them are in their 80s and have been "public servants" for 50 years.

Expand full comment

“public Serpents”….

I’m not sure who first coined that, but,it’s very apt.

I certainly noticed that in Wyden--and thought "he looks old--time to get out". Age 75 comes upon me in 6 months, so I have some skin in this game.

Expand full comment

Another thought re-occurs, noticed yesterday, this time to put into words: I observed how MANY times yesterday the senators did not allow for the slowed pace of RFK's speech, thus not only firing rapid verbal-shots at him, and not allowing him time to respond, but not allowing him the extra time his throat problem demands. Americans with Disabilities Act? What is the penalty for abuse of that law?

I definitely agree with Pollyanna on this one! These so-called "representatives" need to start wearing the corporate logos of all the corporations that they accept money from, especially the pharmaceutical companies, so the public can see who they truly represent.

Now when it comes to animal venery... you get to pick them Jenna! You do! So what will it be for these politicians? A gang of polyticks? A dung of reps? A wrangle of weasles? An orgy of orcs? A corporation of apologists? Surely we can think of something for these school of sellouts.

All of these hypocrits are truly childish. Crapo's yes or no question reminds me of my high school days when we would ask each other a similar question: "Does your mom know you're gay?" I have a similar question for Crapo: "Does your family know that you've sold your soul to your corporate overlords?"

Polyanna is on point. I think I also said it in a previous post about how I think RFK Jr is going to be appointed because both Trump and Bobby are controlling the Overton window on the covid conversation. No discussions should be had about how many millions the covid vaccine have maimed and killed and definitely no conversation about how covid was a military operation by our own government.

Oooops yes I did. Basically everyone else that was throwing "yes or no" questions at RFK Jr.

I think we might be watching competing games of 3-D chess.

Kennedy no doubt knows he can't be perceived as anti-vax, so he's running a psy-op saying he's "pro-vax," but with an important caveat or footnote - he supports "gold-standard" research on the safety and efficacy of the "vaccines" (which would, of course, prove the vaccines are NOT "safe and effective.")

The Republicans in the Senate (excluding Sen. Johnson) are sticking to a simpler script: "Let's don't talk about that ("that" being "Operation Warp Speed" or the vaccines.)

The Democrats are all twisted up. On one hand, they are also railing against evil and greedy Big Pharma, which is making the prices of drugs and pills increase by 60 to 7,500 percent. On the other hand, they say these products are essential and the world has to let the same companies keep making and selling even more of these drugs.

So, they are also saying, "Leave Big Pharma alone. If we don't have them, we're all going to die of measles or the flu."

To me, it's a coin flip on whether Kennedy gets confirmed. It will come down to a 3-point shot with 1 second left in the game.

In this example, "democracy in action" is actually producing real drama.

If he not confirmed and I believe he will be, the midterms will be war! Nicole Shanahan has vowed to bankroll any challenger who wants to primary those assholes against Bobby and has made a very public announcement regarding her offer. Several people have already stepped up and said they’d run. Scott Pressler already has a $1,000,000 donor waiting to fund midterm challengers and he’s said he’ll work to get rid of them all.

If Bobby isn’t confirmed it may not be a bad thing. Trump will find someone equally as MAHA, and Bobby will be free to speak out loudly and viciously with no restraints of his employment.

I love Pollyanna and she's totally right and I'm glad she spoke up here, I needed her feedback as I'd been also dipping dangerously low in the glass-half-full. I managed to get through an hour of it yesterday and I was literally SCREAMING at the screen (the last time I went apoplectic like that during a broadcast event was, I think, when I was still a raging liberal and was frothing at the mouth screaming at Trump during the debate with Hilary). It was pure insanity. But of course they knew it would happen. So this has to be part of the plan, I have to believe that.

I really, REALLLLLY WANT HIM TO GET CONFIRMED - but you're right, regardless of what happens, he ain't going away. He talked a good game (even though Fetterman said it was awful and MSM publications gloated in his supposedly dismal performance).

I can't bring myself to watch it today. That was major blood-pressure-spiking material.
