I’ve seen beef rib at my local Publix for $3.50/lb, so I guess that destroys their entire theory…unless they meant the tip wage, which I’m pretty sure they didn’t. Mmmm….beef.
Yeah, beef in the grocery stores near me is down about $1 per pound compared to a year ago.
Price here hasn't really changed.
We are millions ahead in money raising. The Dems are losing their sneaky and frankly illegal money raising efforts like USAID, ActBlue is doing illegal stuff, etc. resulting in tanking fund raising.
I stopped voting in 2024. I came to finally realize that the choices are always between an alligator and a crocodile. Both seek to eat you alive.
It's your choice, of course, but the consequence of not voting only serves to erode the legitimacy of the winner.
And allows the cheaters an easier win, in my opinion. I’ve lived in countries where people have died for the right to vote (Libya and Venezuela to mention 2) and I’ll vote in every election, until my last breath.
I should add two other apt "choices": chew on broken glass or run a razor blade across your tongue? Get hit by a Mack truck, or by a freight train?

I think the meme on Pres. Truman sums it up best: A president can’t always be popular. He has to do an awful job sometimes, depending on which way the world turns. Reacting to world events within a presidents term is not always going to go along with popular opinion. That being said, I think a lot of these polls are not even real, they’re being made up by liars. That being said, Trump will ALWAYS be my pick against a Kamala. And THAT being said - THIS IS STILL WHAT I VOTED FOR!
