I kept a book for each kid called "the funny things I say," where I wrote it ALL down--the silly words ("Actually dentally, Mom..."), all the hilarious one liners ("Mom, you're really good at cooking. Well, except for tonight."), and they're our FAVORITE THINGS EVER. I made the girls copies when they moved out [*weepy mom-emoji].

I need to enter yesterday’s “sooo, basically women lay an egg every month?” comment, which came on the heels of my explanation of how women in 1780 knew they were pregnant before they were showing. Which was asked during a humanities read aloud in which the wife of the hero (Samuel Hahnemann, another medical rebel) announced she was pregnant.
