> To be clear, I’m not talking about the peaceful Muslim family living quietly next door. I’m talking about the ones who see Islam as something they’re obligated to impose, not something they’d be delighted to share.

I believe that any such families either A) don't understand their own religion, B) don't have the guts to actively push their religion but will be happy to see it imposed, or C) are sleepers biding their time.

I JUST came here to post this same thought!! That quiet Muslim family is quiet for a reason. It is led by a man that attends the same sort of service Mamdani did, listening to the same kind of Imam. There is no peaceful Muslim when you openly reject what they stand for.

The idea that most are peaceful and just go along with Islam to get along is not in their nature.

That thought, “I’m not talking about the peaceful Muslim family living quietly next door.” is another suicidal empathy trick/weapon forced on us after 9/11

I’m sure we all remember taqyyia . (sp?) encourages Muslims to lie to non-believers. I also remember a former Muslim explaining it this way - we are no different than them owning chickens. They would care for them but when the time comes, they won’t hesitate to slaughter them.

Evidently, several of the October 7th attackers targeted Jewish families that had employed them and used their knowledge of the properties to make the attacks as effective and devastating as possible. This is next level bastardry. One issue for us would-be frogs is the inability to conceive of this level of evil. It exists and is more widespread than we think.

Tonee norman's avatar

I agree. One of the biggest weaknesses of good people is the inability to comprehend how evil the dark side actually is…

It reminds me of the great sadness and harm done to my little boy when Clinton was going through the Monica affair. My little 9 year old boy said “ impossible! Our president would NEVER do something like that “ It broke my heart that innocence was destroyed. He really was never the same trusting child…

I was a grown woman in 1995 when my 15-year old son came to me to tell me how evil our government was. I said “Surely that’s not true!” Then he told me about the Tuskegee Experiment.

Then I remembered the KKK, Jim Crow Laws, LBJ, and the evidence of the evil ones has always tried to destroy this nation…..even as it was just beginning.

Tonee norman's avatar

Horrible all that.

I’m guessing that you and your son can share much, these days..

The govt always has its two minutes of hate. During WWI all things German were evil. In WW2 the Japanese on the West Coast were put into concentration camps although nothing was done to the 200,000 Japanese in the Hawaiian Islands who were potentially a far greater threat. Read about the readiation experiments the govt conducted on living people during the 50s. Hell, remember Covid and Fauci's lies? How the Left wanted people fired for not taking the death jab?

They start out quiet, reserved, so you'll trust them, then they run for office, what could go wrong???

GregWA's avatar

Or are actually peaceful, deploring the psychos leading Islam, but also fearful, knowing they'll be killed for speaking out/up. But yes, they also don't understand their religion. If we can give them "top cover", I suspect we'd find that more than half of all Muslims are the peaceful sort. Why do I think that? Because the average joe in every corrupt society on Earth is a decent guy.

The problem is the CCP, not the Chinese people.

The problem is Kim, not the Korean people.

The problem is Democrat leadership, not the average Democrat voter.

Well, I got 2 out of 3 right!

Adrian's avatar

I'm ... not entirely sure where you're going with this, since you admit that the "actually peaceful" families don't understand their religion, which was one of my options; and if it's true that more than half of all Muslims are truly peaceful, that just means that more than half of them don't understand their own religion. I might grant you that figure in this country, but I really don't think that's the case worldwide.

For what it's worth, AI says:

> Let's be direct: the jihadists have the stronger textual case. The peaceful American Muslim who insists Islam is fundamentally a religion of peace is either unfamiliar with his own scripture or engaged in motivated reinterpretation.

While it may be true that the CCP is, in some sense, the source of the problem with China, that doesn't mean that the average Chinese Joe who believes in what his Party teaches isn't a threat to us.

Debi Lutman's avatar

I have a friend who left Lebanon as a teenager and has explained Islam to our church group.

Islam is a religion- based culture that cannot assimilate. They are not here to assimilate. They are here to make Islam the one world religion-culture, even if it means living among infidels. They will do it or die trying.

They will not kill you (at first) for not converting but they will oppress you into submission. They give you the opportunity to live as a Muslim. If you choose not to convert, they will take everything you have and drive you

away—death by a thousand cuts.

Israel had similar instructions during, and following, the exodus, with some conflicts being directed to wipe out all vestiges of other cultures and religions. That failed in many ways, as seen in the Old Testament.

I have these “quiet Muslim families” living near me. Every time there is a terrorist attack in this country, they bring the entire family (veiled) out to walk around the block. You rarely see them otherwise. Also, you do realize that the husband has more than one wife and puts her (and his kids) up in different housing that is entirely paid for by welfare that you, the taxpayer, are providing? Just filing paperwork that states she is a single mother.

If they wanted to assimilate the women would not be covered head to toe.

There is no such thing as “radical Islam”. Islam is an ideology, a political concept, wrapped in a religion wrapper in order to sneak in to power. It uses our first amendment to continue to gain power & presence in the west. Once in power the so called “ moderate Muslims” will have to pick a side. Pretty sure I know whose side they’ll take otherwise they’ll be treated as an infidel like the rest of us. Author & former Muslim Daniel Burmawi continues to be one of the best voices educating & warning the west of what we could be facing if we don’t wise up.

Bob Miglarese's avatar

You are right...though there are a few rational (I hesitate to use the word,"peaceful") Muslims who are not violent and intolerant now, but as you said, once they get in power, most will become jihadis- or be killled.

Tthere is no such thing as rational Islam. The religion is violent and bloodthirsty to it's core- like the sociopath, pedophile prophet Muslims emulate.

"TThe Americans love Pepsi Cola; we love death." -- Attributed to Maulana Inyadullah, an Afghan jihadist.

Laura kelly's avatar

There are a lot of Muslims who cherry-pick their religious ideas just like liberal Catholics do. They focus on things like "charity" and not things like "jihad". Lots of secular Muslims too. They don't speak up because it can be socially and physically dangerous. Spend some time in a moderate Muslim country like Turkey and you'll meet a whole range of people. The ones who immigrate to the West for benefits are the worst of them--people who are too unpleasant and dysfunctional to make it in their own country.

Justin's avatar

It's too bad their own community isn't disassembling their own radicals. Or withdrawing support.

Adrian's avatar

"Radicals" is another word that gets tossed around as marketing for the "religion of peace," giving the idea that "Oh, most of them are peaceful, it's just _a few radicals_ who do these terrible things." Which group misunderstands/minimizes its own religious text: the "peaceful" families or the dangerous "radicals"?

Graphite 🇨🇦's avatar

But I guess like Hitler and the SS... they bullied the German people into reporting on their neighbours - because if you were found to have 'not reported' something you would get punished yourself - and this occurs in all tyrannical regimes - even recently in the 'covid' debacle around the world!

ELKFLA's avatar

It is, but that's like asking inner city families to stand up to gangs. They can't. Talk smack about the local leader and they are, at best, ostracized by the community, or worse, they or their family are hurt and their home or business burned out. They need outside help and plausable deniablity. The only way to get rid of these radical imans is to deport them and screen out the wackos before they get into the country.

Democrats are circling down a drain and trying to take the country down with them. Here is a make up of Democrats:

• Not all democrats are communist, socialist, or Marxists but all communist, socialist, and Marxists are democrats.

• Not all democrats are radical Islamists but all radical Islamists are democrats.

• Not all democrats hate America and are triggered by the American flag but all those who hate America and are triggered by the American flag are democrats.

• Not all democrats are okay with open borders but all those for open borders are democrats.

• Not all democrats are okay with sanctuary cities coddling illegals including murderers and rapists but all those for sanctuary cities are democrats.

• Not all democrats think it is okay for men to play in women sports and go into women’s bathrooms but all those who think it is okay for men to play in women sports and go into women’s bathrooms are democrats.

• Not all democrats are Antifa terrorists but all Antifa terrorists are democrats.

• Not all democrats thinks whites are white supremacists and blacks are oppressed but all those that think whites are white supremacists and blacks are oppressed are democrats.

• Not all democrats think that sexually grooming children in our schools is okay but all those who think it is okay to sexually groom children are democrats.

• Not all democrats think it is okay to normalize pedophilia but all those who think it is okay to normalize pedophilia are democrats.

• Not all democrats think parents’ rights are superseded by school teachers and administrators but all those who think school teachers and administrators trump parents’ rights of raising their children are democrats.

• Not all democrats have TDS. Oh wait, yes all democrats have TDS.

One more:

• Not all racists are liberal but all liberals are racists. The liberals see life through a prism of race and project their racism onto others. To prove a liberal is racist ask them if Trump is racist. With their living through a prism of racism coupled with TDS you know what the answer is.

Heather B's avatar

Wow, you are so brave to take this on, and what a brilliant way to do so. Sometimes I put memes about Islam on my stack and it always triggers pushback and cancellations. And besides all that, I don't see it as a religion, but as a political ideology/sex cult disguised as a religion. I mean, what other religion would entice people to die by promising them 72 virgins if they martyr themselves??? And mutilate women's genitals so they won't enjoy sex, and cover them up so the men won't be tempted? And throw gays off buildings while secretly raping little boys, and marrying little girls before they even know what sex is? And stoning women if a man rapes them??? Also, the peaceful family next door allows all the radical members to do their stinging of the infidels so they are complicit. I hope America wakes up soon. Great job, Jenna!

GregWA's avatar

Jenna, a darker than usual post from you...but very good and very necessary.

I could not read it all before writing this: what are we to do about it?

How are we to defend ourselves from this invasion when it is being brought on by all our institutions of government, academia, NGOs, the lot! Even facilitated by POTUS (not the current one, but Obama)?

Are we expected to sit silently waiting for them to come for us?

And these invaders and their enablers aren't stupid: if they simply massed in the streets, started throwing gays off buildings, stoning women, etc. we would all rise up, including our police forces and crush them. They won't do that. Instead they will move slowly using our own government against us. We must act before that happens.

Jenna McCarthy's avatar

Thanks GregWA. I HATE being dark--I truly, deeply hate it--but this one needed to be said. I'm sure I'll pay a price (unsubscribes, nasty notes), but it's right in my profile: I'm not for everyone!

DDForTruth's avatar

1. There is a difference between being dark and being informed.

It is subjects like these that NEED to be discussed, because the ostrich approach, which didn't see the scorpion, never mind the entire river, is absolutely not working.

2. Islam is a culture using politics hiding behind religion. There are no 'moderate' Islamists.

The "Dumocrats" thought to use open borders to expand their voter base, thus protecting their power.

The Islamists used the "Dumocrats" and legalese to freely gain entry to take over that power to impose (force) their culture.

3. If the price you pay for speaking your mind is unsubscribers and nasty notes:

a) it is a price worth paying because fuck them

b) they weren't worth having so again, fuck them.

Mike Myhre's avatar

You nailed it when you pointed out Mamdani and his prayer services instructing him to kill infidels and then described the demographics that voted him in. They don't see it because they are following the official narrative without thinking. It instructs them to love and include in ways that result in hate and division. This is the same societal force that used to tackle mothers against drunk driving, seat belt rules and womens rights; now hijacked for a different agenda.

All the official narratives are designed to divide and cause conflict. Conflict is where the government needs to step in and gain power. It also has a side effect of eliminating the violent (death, imprisoned or financially ruined) and unthinking parts of the population.

Islam and communism are not the enemies. The psychopaths at the top are who and they are using religions, social frameworks, and all sorts of ideologies to keep us divided and distracted.

Islam and communism weren't behind 9/11. The Islamists and Communists weren't behind Operation Covid-1984. They weren't behind the death jabs, the chemtrails, the "wild fires", and the massive waves of immigration that are conveniently tearing apart the social fabric of our societies. The AI surveillance state that is being built for the digital enslavement grid is not being architected and designed by Islamists and communists.

Humanity is the frog and the psycopaths in powers are the scorpion. The trick is, they want to convince you that anything and everything else is the scorpion.

Spot on! We need to ask how this happened? Aside from the blatant indoctrination, war on muslim countries creates many refugees and of course the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 began the destruction of western civilized culture too.

I suspect that the generations from millennials on have no understanding of what real free market capitalism means because America has been a corporatocracy all of their lives.

GenX was born into the destruction of the free market but the 1965 Immigration and Nationality Act had only begun, so we still had a somewhat functioning society that wasn’t totally doped out on “medication” to ease the normal life problems of anxiety and depression.

The medication generation was given “meds” for everyday problems as children, like ADHD and anxiety/depression, so is it any wonder that they think they need their “soma” as adults? Soma makes people compliant, lazy and perfect fodder to be “useful idiots” and that’s what “they” want.

And now the medication generation is all grown up and running society too. Rut-roh.
