This morning I sent out a post with the default “only paid subscribers can comment” setting activated. My apologies. If you tried to comment and thought to yourself, “Wow, what a hypocrite!” I promise it was just an oversight. Please feel free to weigh in if you wanted to but couldn’t. :)

Jenna, I can't tell you how much I appreciate your willingness to allow those of us who cannot pay for every single substack we read to comment. I rotate my subscriptions, so everyone I read gets at least six months of pay. I learn so much from the comments, it's a shame that some writers block out the largest portion of their readers.
Thank you for this! The only way forward on any platform will be with open, uncensored comment sections. Legacy media is dying (thank god) due to their arrogance in peddling bullshit, and limiting or censoring comments.
