Tonee - Haha! Depends upon what you mean by an "item". Bro is a woman and we both love men. So.

We met through Substack comments and realized we had been to the same conference (in 2022). We don't live far from one another and she has been to our home many times. Hubs loves her and so do I. We are blessed that God has placed us in each others lives.

You don't have to be gen Z to appreciate a good heist! It's like Robin hood stealing from the rich and giving back to the poor with buckets full of hilarious memes. I still don't understand how this is possible given how much security they have, but anything seems to be possible since the days of the scamdemic.

The fraudsters are almost as cool as Dr. Kirk Moore, but still far behind. My modern day heros are superheroes with morals who stood against the tyranny of governments around the world. That's you Jenna, Dr. Bowden, Dr. Malik, Dr. Merritt, Dr. T and Dr. P, and so many countless amazing human beings that stood and continue to stand and fight for humanity.

Don't get me wrong. I love a good heist, but I love non-compliance and resistance against the powers that shouldn't be about 1000% more! 🤗

Great story Jenna. A different perspective. Perhaps they figured out the fake history. I like it because it breaks into the historical lies perpetrated on all who are alive today and those before us. Most if not all artifacts are stories made up by people who have great imaginations and the controllers of the history books and false history. Call me crazy but places like the Louvre are just tax breaks for the wealthy. Nothing more. I am very cynical today. The world is not as we are told. And never was.

We ARE all being urged to get real tangible gold now for independent trading when they control our money and wont let us buy crisps and chocolate any more. So maybe these foresighted chaps (+ chapesses any?) were stocking up.

Expand full comment
SteveO's avatar

And it is nearly impossible today for the average person to afford gold or even silver today. The powers to be have been successful in making the masses live paycheck to paycheck with not enough leeway for even a $400 emergency. It is so sad. I feel fortunate to be 65 now because I got to live in some of the simpler times. I was able to purchase gold and silver over the years and so I have a little better chance than the average person. But as far as this article. The point I was making is that me personally cannot trust any of the "history" that was presented to us. We have been lied to about everything but when we did we can find lots of opposing "facts" that blow the current wisdom away. We are living in a Matrix.

I’m not surprised that the Zoomers are ecstatic over this occurrence… There hasn’t been a heist this classy since the Antwerp diamond heist back in 2003… Unless of course you consider the bank robbery by the two women who were naked and covered in mustard… Let the games begin!!

No... it was actually a bank robbery somewhere in Europe if I remember correctly... I haven't found the reference yet, but I'm still looking... However, I did see that about the three sisters during my search... One of whom was determined to be too mentally ill to stand trial... go figure!~... I guess if one wants a religious experience without the assistance of psychedelics, then naked and smeared with mustard while nicking a UPS delivery van is the way to go... Honestly, I'd like to meet those girls... talk about idea factories!~!!!

That is one big reason why you should have a computer that can support running a virtual machine. Things get ugly and you delete the VM and start over. Just sayin'.

I'm not the expert that Craig probably is, but I would describe a virtual machine as a piece of software that pretends to be a whole other computer, with its own separate memory, files, and programs, etc.

It keeps a huge, "logical" wall between itself and the real computer that you're running it on, keeping your existing, permanent files safe from infection, etc.

And once you're done browsing the web through this "virtual" computer, you can shut down the software and the whole virtual computer evaporates, including any viruses or malware that you might have acquired inside it while browsing.

Next time you want to browse or compute safely, you can start up the virtual computer again and it's pristine and untouched as if it's being run for the first time all over again.

There's a decent chance this isn't completely clear, but thought I'd try.

[Two minutes later: I just noticed that Craig already replied to the question. :-]

Microsoft, Oracle and VMware all have virtual machines that you can run on Windows 11 Pro. Essentially, you run what they refer to as a hypervisor that controls the virtual machines. The virtual machines are a fully functional Windows (in this case) systems that run on top of your systems Windows version. They are a separate Windows machines (virtual) that are confined to their own environment and thus cannot bleed over into your regular Windows system. If something happens in the VM environment you can simply delete the VM and start over with a fresh new one. Just about every business now runs nothing but VMs. This allows for better utilization of the hardware and many other benefits. When I working (retired) we would purchase the hardware with as much memory and processor cores as we could and then we might run 15 - 20 VMs on that single piece of hardware. Lots of flexibility and other nice benefits to running VMs.

Thank you for this info!

1) Is it possible for someone to break into this VM system and steal your info?

There are burglaries and there are burglaries, this is the latter! (paraphrased from Vesper in Casino Royale - aka James Bond)

You have to love it when movies come to life! Certainly we can't really endorse theft, but yes, this sure beats pondering the coming of World War III!

It's not every day that a fun movie is played out in real life! Besides, I don't think Napoleon is going to miss the jewels now. I'm sure some absurdly wealthy trillionaire's wife is happily enjoying wearing her new crown jewels!

Actually I was thinking about that. The ultra rich are commonly considered "above the law" so I wonder if with enough wealth generously shared if showing off the jewels wouldn't be conveniently overlooked while admired?

It's not that the book/film.etc was prophetic,it's that they malevolently enjoy telling us in advance. Or - in a few cases they spot something and think "that's a great idea" we have the ability to create that in REAL LIFE. For instance two stories from the late 1800s describe the sinking of a giant liner in iceberg sea,in one the big ship is even called Titan. Pre-covid even I would have thought that the idea of anyone,or group, deliberately BUILDING a huge ship and calling it TITANIC and sailing it to Iceberg sea and RECREATING the fiction for real was straying way into the realms of Fantasy. Now,having read of ALL the disquieting things about even the construction of Titanic I dont think so,or I'm willing to accept that it was not as we have been told. The most damning evidence must be that Old Beelzebub,J.P Morgan himself,THE J.P Morgan, devil take him (he has),couldn't take ship at the very last minute due to urgent business demands. So HE wasn't on board for a meeting of money men planned. Suspicious as all get out eh?

Yes, "The Wreck of the Titan" book coming out 14 years before the Titanic event was pretty remarkable. As was the Kobe Bryant's death by helicopter which was portrayed explicitly in a cartoon skit from, I think, Comedy Central, at least months if not more before the actual event. And don't get us started on The Simpsons.

Great comment. Yes, there have been theories about why there are "predictions" of events in earlier movies, TV, and books, and I'm interested in hearing all of them. I still don't know which theory is accurate (or if there's another one that we don't know about yet) but I keep eyes open for evidence of all of them and try to determine, eventually, which one is most likely. It's a fascinating phenomenon.

Here's something that I consider a soft but significant reference to 9/11 -- from the introduction of H.G. Wells' 1930s book, "The Shape of Things to Come."

Archive.org has the book online. The 9/11 reference is at the bottom of the left-hand page here:

https://archive.org/details/in.ernet.dli.2015.113872/page/n19/mode/2up

"There is a passing mention of the leveling of the [....] famous skyscrapers of lower New York on that date."

There is a film from the 1960s about a Crown Jewel heist at The Tower. It's a comedy. I saw it on tv once years ago + remember it as good but don't know if it would look creaky now. I think it's called 'Jokers.Wild' and stars the unlikely combo of Oliver Reed and Michael Crawford. They are brothers or half brothers and in this movie Oliver Reed is at his most sexily intense as he,or his character tries to conduct this heist as an efficient military operation hampered by his younger, stupid brother played by Michael Crawford pre Frank Spencer but maybe evolving the character. I'd love to see this film again to see if it is as good as I remember it. Directed by 'calm down dear,I'm not eating that! ' Michael Winner.

Actually, I too almost had a smile on my face. No killings, no terrorists, just plain old-fashioned benign burglary.

Reminds me of an old TV series, tons of years ago: Simon Temple with Roger Moore as the dashing thief who burgled museums or rich old ladies. Obviously, always with a beautiful young lady to assist him, of course. Guess old Inspector Clousaut (spelling?) will have to be dusted off from retirement in order to try to capture the elusive thief (thieves).

Obviously, I don’t condone theft of any kind, but somehow can’t get rid of the smile on my face.
