Yes, I read these scare tactic/click bait articles, and then roll my eyes and wonder why I fell for yet another another one. Waste of time... unless they're used for such delightful satire as I found here. What exactly did our infectious disease/government PR folks do with their time - before they were given the objective to blow up every possible obscure infectious disease into a potential world pandemic?

And I think back to my outrage to find that there was a obligatory "D" in the Tetanus vaccine - and that we were being "protected" from a total of ONE case/year of diphtheria in the U.S. These scare tactics might work on some people - probably the people still driving around wearing masks inside their cars. However, at some point, more people will recognize that our government is just playing games with us. Short-lived publicity over scary-appearing diseases like "red eye" flu - which affect few, and cause no deaths, will eventually develop into disinterest and reader fatigue.

Literally the first vaccine we give to babies when they are less than a day old is HepB--WHICH YOU GET THROUGH SEXUAL CONTACT AND SHARING NEEDLES. Good grief, I hope people are waking up!!!

I'm ashamed at how stupid and trusting I was with my first few children 😖 And annoyed that I let myself be scared into taking all sorts of shots (pre-covid) when pregnant/with young babies. Never ever again.

SAME. It's so frustrating and maddening to know we were LIED TO and FOR SO LONG. I hope I live long enough to see justice served.

I hesitate to "like" your post. How can I possibly like THAT info about the HepB vaccine?! I am still grieving over the knowledge that I possibly agreed to injure my three sons with their childhood vaccines. ADHD for two, Sensory Processing disorder for three, OT for balance problems for one, Speech therapy for another - who also needed OT (very long story, including our evil local public school falsifying an OT evaluation), and consequently I am currently looking for OT services for this adult son with dyspraxia (entire body "clumsiness"), which is normally treated during childhood. (Partially overlooked b/c of my own inherent clumsiness, and chronic health problems - plus the overwhelming homeschooling needs of three boys with multiple learning disabilities) As for their learning disabilities, we have them scattered through my mother's side of the family, but it's like they were exaggerated in two of my sons.

In an online discussion with a teacher, she said such issues have increased dramatically in her 20-30 years as a teacher. My sons are 24-31 years old. They all have done well in college, although my youngest is the most affected - he really can't handle a full load of courses. With a decreased load, he is capable of straight A's. It definitely could be worse, and I am grateful my sons are able to compensate as well as they do. But I wonder what their lives would have been like without the childhood vaccines. I hope more mothers become aware of how the vaccines can affect their children.
