It's concerning when (international?) NGO's jump in and actually fund these efforts of accelerating continual demise of our legacy as the greatest country (is CoV19 a decent enough example?).
With literally no chance of the most recent two generations (those 35 and younger) ever having a single chance of repeating 'the American Way' of home ownership, community, prosperity (I'd personally just like a few pot holes to be repaired in my neighborhood, but funding proxy conflicts in Ukraine and Israel and etc. is really starting to drain the coffers), why else might the protestors now have had enough frustration to protest?
It's not Trump's fault, nor Biden's nor any president since 1913 (Wilson) when the USA signed away its own currency to a mostly private (Federal?) banking system that is bankrupting us as fast as they can. They're (as hard as one administration or the other might be trying) are literally stuck and prostate to the 'system' in which we find ourselves.

To be honest, my take is that all this violence and destruction may somewhat be in part the illegals being urged to resist deportation in more violent ways each day but those behind this are doing this largely because they hate Donald Trump. They are using the illegals like they used the blacks in 2020 to create chaos. All the destruction in 2020 was largely designed to ruin the mood of the nation so that the election would not go to Trump but they used the Floyd issue as an excuse. Remember, that was the height of COVID and NONE of these useful idiots wore masks or stayed 6ft apart like we were told to do. And NO ONE in power blinked an eye about that. I believe these are all the same vermin that supported 2020 and are now replaying the same playbook over the deportation. Just look at who is supporting all this. It's hard to know what's true but I do think there are a lot of paid protestors, and I do think the fans of Biden/Harris think that Trump is wrong to defend law enforcement, which is crazy. I also have read some posts from people in the LA area who are pleading for us to remember that not all people who live there agree with what's going on - they feel held hostage to the corrupt regime. Troubling times to say the least. After the 2020 riots here, a group of people met in our downtown area to clean up. I found a lot of empty whiskey bottles, just sayin'. So much damage was done to property and to local businesses. Our downtown is still trying to recover but most people won't even go there anymore. To see the same thing happening now in LA and to see that there is mass inciting to riot is heartbreaking. I have to give it over to God and try to breathe. I'm not looking forward to Saturday.

New owners came in last year and have been working to revitalize the district, including hiring private security, but of course the area is targeted again on Saturday, as well as 3 other locations, including my suburban city. In 2020 there was a feeble attempt at rioting but a large biker gang came and hung out in front of our downtown businesses so they mostly just held their signs, yelled a few slogans and took their selfies and went home.

I even thought about sleeping there with protection one night as I heard antifa was sending over busloads of people. In 1968, there were riots in downtown York, PA. We moved to the suburbs of that city in 2001. People in the suburbs STILL would not go downtown because "they had riots there". Seriously. The riots were over 30 years prior and people STILL avoided downtown because of it. We were gobsmacked. There were some great restaurants downtown and these people were missing out and instead going to the chain restaurants all along the main cut-through road. It was insane.
Oh and York is listed as one of the No Kings "protests" for this Saturday. Of course.
I have family near York. I grew up back east and lived in the suburbs and my mother was prepared to take us to stay with friends out in the country through those 1968 riots if necessary to be safe. I guess some people never got over those. I'm sure it's an undercurrent for me still.

There were some great restaurants downtown and these people were missing out and instead going to the chain restaurants all along the main cut-through road. It was insane.

I have family near York. I grew up back east and lived in the suburbs and my mother was prepared to take us to stay with friends out in the country through those 1968 riots if necessary to be safe. I guess some people never got over those. I'm sure it's an undercurrent for me still.

Yesterday there were 1550 No Kings protests planned for Saturday. Now 1,800. That’s an enormous amount of No Kings agitators, bricks, cement blocks, face masks, Molotov cocktail ingredients and F Trump signs. Who is paying for all this? Satan and his hordes are full of rage and straining to ‘burst their bonds’, while the Holy Spirit acts to reveal and restrain what has largely been the ‘hidden’ (in plain sight) forces of darkness.
As disturbing, and tragic, as all of this can be, it is reality - and it can only be dealt with when it is clearly recognized and acknowledged in truth; when the sheepskins have been pulled back to reveal the wolves hiding beneath.
It is stunning to realize how many people deliberately choose to ‘see no evil’ - and the MSM’s ‘mostly peaceful’ messaging is designed to help such people retain their self-imposed blindness.
The tragic truth is that it often takes an inescapable dose of ‘reality’ to break such people out of their ‘bliss’.
As much as we might wish it were otherwise, I believe we are about to witness just such a dose of desperately needed correction.
BUT, God… But God is using these revelations to wake up the slumbering and sleeping masses, with the intent that they might turn to Him to be saved, or realize that it is way past time for those that are, to take their faith lives seriously.

As Mike Tyson said ( and I’m paraphrasing), nothing will wake you up, like a punch in the nose. I hope my many misinformed liberal friends and family, will wake up when their neighborhood is under assault and the their ( sanctuary municipality) police, just let it happen.
I join you in your hopes and prayers for the lost and deceived - especially amongst our families, friends, and acquaintances. But we know, through life experience and the Word of God, that many will go to their graves in defiance of the truth - no matter what.
So, we are called to keep praying, and to yield our own lives more fully to the leading and work of the Holy Spirit. Because, at the end of the day, apart from the Lord, we can do nothing that is truly productive, of lasting meaning, or value.

This reminds me of Minneapolis five years ago. That was an interesting episode where No Balls Walz did nothing while rioters rioted and then called in the reserves to march a nice military parade down the quiet suburban streets. Trump appears to be handling the situation far more effectively and appropriately.

Of course, I don't mean to be callous about all this, but right now (and for the past 5 years) I've just been glad I live in Texas!
So this has changed my plans for the weekend. Not only is it Flag Day and DJT's birthday, it's also my wife's birthday, making it the biggest day, perhaps the most important day, of the year. She wanted to go downtown to try a new restaurant, but it's close to protest central in our city, so we'll go to the middle 'burbs, near the water, to a place that proudly (based on the sticker on the door) that allows lawful conceal carry on premises (because in NY you can't unless they say you can...come on honey, PLEASE let's move).

Newsom is too thick to recognize that he is currently on a downward spiral. He looked like he was switching sides (which was only optics) but now he has doubled down on his own downfall.
I think now would be a great time to utilize the drone technology and equip them with that indelible ink they put in bank robbery bags. Make it fluorescent and spray that on the rioters, then go pick them up later... peacefully, of course. ;) If not, then give all the law enforcers paintball guns with it as the ammo. It would certainly shoot a hole in the rioters anonymity.
