Our elections are not insecure because of IDs. They are insecure because the entire process is not secured, starting from the electronic voting machines that do not print receipts for a manual audit. You can't fix election integrity when the machines themselves are built without security in mind.
This is like trying to fix the monetary system in this country without addressing the fact that the Federal Reserve system is actually a privately controlled institution that is controlled by private interests.
This is like blaming the entire Convid 1984 operation on Anthony Fauci instead of the entire system that allowed for this massive collusion and cooperation to exist in the first place.
Government is the problem, not the people or the lack or processes who supposedly vote people into Government.

I believe the fake photo IDs were used to procur mail-in ballots, but would have failed the in-person test of comparing the photo to the person. I mean, yeah, they could replace the photo, but that seems like it would take a lot longer and require more effort. Maybe I’m underestimating the Chinese commitment to the fraud, but I was just picturing them using them in the mail with the real person’s photo still there.

I went to get a library card. I was asked for a photo ID and one other document, bill, statement, etc, with my name and address on it. On the paper form I had to fill out (so quaint), was a box asking, "Would you like a form to register to vote?"
Now, I live in Florida, which is a Real ID state. You have to prove that you're a citizen or a legal resident to get a driver's license and a citizen to register to vote, so we do have that firewall. But what if I were in a state where that wasn't required?
This is how this stuff gets out of control. If a state gives drivers licenses to anyone and everyone, and then asks if they want to register to vote, who's not going the say "sure"? They may not even know that they're not legally allowed to vote. Then, who follows up to verify that they're citizens? No one. That's how you get crap voter rolls.
Read Lisa Murkowski’s op ed on why she won’t vote for the save act. One reason is how time consuming & difficult it is to register to vote. She seems to think that one has to register before each voting season. I think it’s a one & done situation. Boy is she ignorant.
