The number of vile, despicable people in healthcare has been a huge shock to me. I recently had to have a procedure done where I was under anesthesia. I was truly concerned that my nurses would be like these foul people we see online and if they found out my political beliefs, they'd do something to me. George Floyd wasn't accidentally killed. He died of a fentanyl overdose and/or cardiac arrest.

I live right outside of Chicago so all of the corporate network 'news' is Chicago-based. the only real coverage they give the entire ICE thing is to report on the 'mistakes' they make, like misidentifying people, etc. as far as I know, there have been only tiny protests and no interference. which makes the whole MN thing look more and more like political theater.

As Janet says below - MN is full of resistance because the machine/fraud/voting irregularities are so big, so controlled in a relatively small market. We'll see people all the way to the top implicated. They HAVE TO defend this by any means necessary.

It's likely that the entire purpose of public officials encouraging people to pour into the streets is to nudge the president into calling up the military in order to use that against him in the midterms so that a Democratic majority can once again impeach him. Another goal might be to rattle the cabinet into invoking the 25th Amendment in order to save MAGA. Trump should stick with using the courts.

You do understand that ICE is removing people who broke the law some violently. Why would anyone want criminals in society. Legal immigrants came in the right way. These did not. They have no desire to become citizens. They are here to take all the free things without contributing to our country. Go back to your country and fix the problems there. Don't come here to change our country like the country you left.

One more thing about this. I know that I have thoughts that cross my mind that aren't completely pure. But whenever they briefly and flittingly cross my mind, I also think "gosh, Wendy, you know that's not how you really feel. Get over yourself." And never would I ever voice a thought of harm to someone else, even if it did cross my mind. My thought is, if you wouldn't look someone in the eyes and say it, why on earth would you ever type it out? Then I remember that these people would say it out loud to someone and I shake my head. Because damn, TDS is a real thing and should probably be diagnosed.

The number of vile, despicable people in healthcare has been a huge shock to me. I recently had to have a procedure done where I was under anesthesia. I was truly concerned that my nurses would be like these foul people we see online and if they found out my political beliefs, they'd do something to me. My husband brought a non-political book (he reads a ton of conservative non-fiction) to read while waiting for me. Because truly - it's a legitimate concern now!
And public education! You know , the “helping” professions.

It is a part of human nature (not a good one) to feed off the fight. To let out their frustration in violence in the name of compassion. It causes people to become blinded to their own violence or rudeness.
I have some good close friends that have gone over the edge on the Minnesota issues. They don't realize that they have literally lost their minds and are being controlled by the news narratives showing only one side of the story (which is encouraging chaos). They don't realize that this form of mob protests to Abolish ICE is actually asking for martial law.

As a nurse I cannot even imagine such thoughts much less articulating them It is my clinical opinion the women is grossly unwell. Nurses are trained and employed to provide professional care to anyone who crosses their path. I am horrified that Ms Lexi maintains a RN license much less has been at the bedside of innocent people. God only knows what harm she has done to mothers and babies as you cannot voice such vitriol and at the same time maintain professional decorum. Being fired was too lenient a punishment she needs to be evaluated and treated for severe mental illness as well as the people who support her and donate to her. The depravity of these people should frighten all of us and be a clarion call to action to demand that American’s be held to a standard. I am all for free speech until the speech advocates evil and harm to another person. Enough is enough. It makes me never want to go near a health care facility again as the Scamdemic showed they are killing fields if not of life and limb social order professionalism accountability and certainly the end of Do No Harm
