Democrats continue to live by the mantra, "Rules for thee, but not for me." But they're not anarchists or duplicitous, come on man! I am in complete agreement with Jeff Childers' statement on this subject yesterday, "I would prefer one single Election Day, paper ballots, inkstained fingers, IDs, and that’s it."

Democrats, who are really Communists, are experts at blurring reality in order to cheat. In Maryland the legislature voted to put tampon dispensers in men’s bathrooms in State buildings. There was a hot legislative debate on what size tampons should be in those dispensers. This hot debate took place while the state is running multi billion deficits (to likely fund fraud).

Pat Wetzel's avatar

That says it all.

Phxrising8's avatar

Childers is fantastic!

I wonder if the IRS is “fluid” on taxes?

John Wright's avatar

Shall we test and find out? 😇

Dorota's avatar

You go ahead, we wait and see how it pans out for you.😉

Skenny's avatar

Have a little sympathy. Some of dearly departed don't even find out they need to vote until late on election day.

Jenna McCarthy's avatar

Bahahaha truth!

John Wright's avatar

Wait a minute... let me check with my wife's ghost. It might take a while to contact her spirit so I'm going to need a little flexibility for mailing in her vote!

Ballots must be received before or ON Election Day.

I suppose that depends on what your definition of “on” is.

I guess by that measure, it ALSO depends on what your definition of “is” is.

Jenna McCarthy's avatar

SMH, for real (while LingOL of course). ;)

Laura Cornwell's avatar

So if election day becomes a national holiday, will the post office deliver your vote on election day? I kinda doubt it. I certainly can’t imagine the whole country getting a day off but postal employees actually working. Better get Amazon to handle them.🧐

Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds…

Don’t shame me but …..My son was in school, out of state, when his ballot came in to be mailed out .. yeppers , I signed and voted for him ( like he told me ) ….. the damn thing came back …. Signature didn’t match ! Anyway, in person voting should be top priority.

Jenna McCarthy's avatar

Wow! Who would think they'd EVER IN A MILLION YEARS check that? (Also I'd bet my meager life savings that I've never signed any two documents the same way... so that's scary!)

Brandon is not your bro's avatar

I wonder if it was due to the town being so small and a bunch of elderly people live to check those signatures.

Marlene Swann's avatar

I am one of those “elderly people” and we are encouraged not to place much faith in signatures. As long as they can verify their address supposedly we’re good.

CraigN's avatar

As long as we are asking, what is "elderly"?

Marlene Swann's avatar

I’m gonna leave it at “ retired!”

John Wright's avatar

Over 21. {grin}

Skenny's avatar

"Signature didn't match."

More like, "vote didn't match" poll worker preference.

John Wright's avatar

Scribble didn't match?

How are kids going to sign things in the future if they aren't taught script anymore?

CraigN's avatar

Make your "X" here please.

John Wright's avatar

"I'm sorry sir, but your X didn't match the X we have on file for you."

Kaycee's avatar

There are ways around that, just sayin'. Did the same but had copy of signature of said kid. Don't think they would check in the state I live in though.

MaryAnn's avatar

I had to sign in with a stylus on an electronic screen this past primary, (new system). Needless to say it did not match my ‘pen on paper’ signature from previous voting sign-ins but the election judge let it slide saying “Close enough.”

cds's avatar

Why are we even discussing this! But, Jenna I do love your take, I look forward to you and Jeff's take on things to add lightness to my day! Woo hoo!

CraigN's avatar

My 2 favorite and must read stackers. Can I call them stackers? Asking for a friend.

cds's avatar

haha! i bet most people agree! let's call them stackers! so you can tell your friend!

Charles Summers's avatar

Voting in person is discriminatory. It tends to exclude the lazy, irresponsible, ambivalent, ignorant, and those inclined toward procrastination.

Charles Summers's avatar

But in spite of that I still make it to the polling place.

Vee's avatar

Another psychological operation! Can you imagine if this much time and effort was actually spent on securing votes? I will never forget watching this testimony back in 2000 where Clinton Curtis blew the whistle on electronic voting fraud. 26 years ago and the ballot boxes are still not secure: https://rumble.com/v525qri-clinton-eugene-curtis-hired-to-write-a-vote-rigging-program-to-flip-sofla-i.html

This also assumes that voting actually makes a difference in the first place, especially when we are talking about the national level. This entire system has already been co-opted by psychopaths who use corporations as legal shields to prevent themselves from being thrown behind bars, and these same corporations spend billions in "lobbying" (legal bribery) the government to push corporate interests instead of American interests.

For example, can you imagine sitting in a room full of people discussing how the drug you are going to sell to the public is "safe and effective" while also knowing that thousands of people are going to die, but it will be worth it because the billions made will cover the costs of the lawsuits? Vioxx is just one example of this. There are many more. This is legalized mass murder.

As a reminder, we cannot vote ourselves out of tyranny. Voting for Coke or Pepsi isn't going to solve any problems. You are directly or indirectly supporting the tyrants when you cast your ballot and give your consent to be ruled. Do not give your consent.

I've shared this video countless times and I'll keep sharing it until my fingers fall out. Government is the most dangerous religion: https://rumble.com/v1nhtny-statism-the-most-dangerous-religion.html

Jenna McCarthy's avatar

I thought by calling you out I might save you the trouble of having to type all of this out again hahahahaha (love you, Vee, mean it!). ;)

Vee's avatar

NEVER!!!! 🤪🤠❤️ 😘😘

John Wright's avatar

It's always nice to have an opportunity to express yourself (and perhaps wake up a sheep or two).

CraigN's avatar

It back to "It doesn't matter who votes, it matters who counts the votes".

Anthony S Burkett's avatar

Excellent Vee!!!!~ My epiphany came somewhere around 2021-2022... when I realized that no matter who I voted for... no matter whether they won or lost the election... by the mere act of "voting" I was giving my permission for someone to rule over me.

Dr. Molly Rutherford's avatar

My Congressman is the only man in DC with integrity, and the uniparty is trying to oust him.

Laura Cornwell's avatar

We were full time RV travelers for ten years and always voted ON TIME all those ten years. Whether we were in Silverton, CO or Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, we ordered (signature required) ballots, filled them out, sealed, signed on the seal and got them mailed in each and every time. Just mailing out millions and millions of ballots to people who never signed for or ordered them is sheer stupidity. It has to stop.

Roberta Stack's avatar

Hilarious! Does everything have to be an issue? It seems pretty simple to me. Vote absentee and get the ballot in by Election Day. It’s like voter ID. You need an ID for pretty much everything these days. Don’t understand that issue at all.

FLGenX's avatar

I didn’t think it could become a bigger clusterfuck than the year of the HANGING CHAD in Florida. Whoopsies, wrong again!

Jenna McCarthy's avatar

That was BANANAS!!!

CraigN's avatar

How many Gen XYZs even know what you are talking about? 🤣

Dr. Molly Rutherford's avatar

I didn't vote in that election. I could not vote for either of those buffoons. (my instincts were correct in hindsight)

MaryAnn's avatar

Oh the CHADS! My niece married a guy named Chad. My kids, her cousins, took every opportunity to mention hanging 😂

In 2016, I stayed up to watch election results and the media refused to call PA for Trump until the wee hours of the morning. The next day, Rush Limbaugh said "they were looking for votes for Hillary." We are always in Florida over Election Day and go to our county elections office to vote early before we leave (where our registration is checked, we are scanned by police officers as we enter the building, and we show photo ID). We remember watching on election night November 2020, going to bed with Trump ahead in PA, only to wake up to see him drastically behind to Biden. That's when I knew it was rigged. I pray SCOTUS does the sensible thing here. No ballots after election day, period.

Dr. Molly Rutherford's avatar

We all remember. Wise people knew what happened. I don't understand the people who continue to parrot the line "there was no evidence of election fraud in 2020." Losers

Heather B's avatar

Having been an Army brat and then a Navy wife, I've had to cast a vote by mail many times so there is a need for mail in ballots. And If I could vote by mail from Ireland and get the ballots to Texas on time, the rest should be able to figure it out. I do think election day should be a national holiday like it is in many countries.

Jenna McCarthy's avatar

It would certainly make things easier. In the olden days, people would travel for DAYS to vote. Suck it up, people!

Carolyn's avatar

Everyone does know when election day is. Third world countries manage to vote on their election days. No exceptions. No early voting. If voting is important to you even if you are out of the country arrange to be here. You travel, have vacation, etc etc etc. You can be here. If you are in such a state of infirmary that you cannot go to the polls, then you really don't know how you vote or who marks your ballot. Lots of cheating there. No exceptions. Have your voter registration card and an official photo ID with you. The ONLY place you can register to vote is your parish/County voter registration office..no DMV, food stamps office or any other place..have your certified birth certificate, an official photo ID and a bill from a utility company with your address and family name on it proving your in state residency.

Jenna McCarthy's avatar

Again, we can be this diligent for SO MANY other things... why is this one even controversial???

John Wright's avatar

"Except the Vees of the world, who lost that ages ago and refuse to partake in the puppet pageant at all." - I'm going to have to go with Vee here. You need a candidate worth voting for in order to be motivated to bother voting. (and a tiny bit of confidence the entire system isn't flat out corrupt)

deborah7isheaven's avatar

Agreed. But what do you do in the meantime? And how are you moving things towards that direction? Vote. Especially locally and Run yourself.

but what else?

John Wright's avatar

First and foremost: focus on yourself and your own life and what you can do to make things better for yourself.

Second: participate in public discussion like this. Propose ideas, consider ideas, become educated.

Third: vote with your dollars (stop paying for harmful medical care, refuse to take Medicaid, buy healthy food, grow healthy food) - also key to this is to put *yourself* on the "gold standard" (ditch the US dollar and shift wealth into gold and silver).

Fourth: Run for office yourself (been there, done that, won't ever do it again - but I encourage everyone else to give it a try)

Dr. Molly Rutherford's avatar

I wish we could decline Medicare. Why do wealthy Boomers need Medicare?

I don’t deal with any third parties in my practice. It is glorious.

John Wright's avatar

I had to fight with the government (as they threatened me several times to charge me for it and warned me if I didn't accept that the cost would be higher in the future). I should clarify that I accepted the "free" Medicare that I've paid for my entire life (and will never use) but refused "Medicaid".

I've always been "cash only" with my practice. I won't deal with insurance companies or government when I'm helping people. Of course it annoys me that most people still see conventional medical care as "free" because their insurance pays (sort of) for it.

Dr. Molly Rutherford's avatar

Thank you. All insurance, including the govt "insurance" is a scam. Medical care is affordable if you stay out of the game. One of my heroes is Dr. Keith Smith, who started the Surgery Center of Oklahoma in the 90s. Hopefully I never need an elective surgery, but if I do, I'm flying out there and paying cash.

Thank you for sharing. Would you, Anthony Burkett, Jenna McCarthy and all please also see/share our information from Captain Dan Hanley, Captain Rob Balsamo, Amber Quitno, Professor Tony Martin, Scott Hagen, Dr. Paul Craig Roberts, Professor Graeme MacQueen, and others and help us improve it if you can. Thank you!

Your first three suggestions are good ones, but that fourth one... ???... Those who believe that a corrupt system can be reformed from within that same system are the biggest part of the problem.

John Wright's avatar

My intention for the fourth suggestion is for educational purposes so you have first hand experience rather than just listening to Internet rumors of corruption and how broken our system is.

Anthony S Burkett's avatar

And THAT'S another thing... LOOK at the choices we're being given... two sides of the same coin.

CraigN's avatar

Guess we might be waiting for hell to freeze then.

John Wright's avatar

Darn that global warming... looks like hell is never going to freeze over!

Most of the political establishment (Dem or Republican) is happy with the present mess. After all if you got in under the current system, you don't want to risk change. Most people want common sense honest clean elections, except those people that benefit from the corruption (i.e. Stacy Abrams) or are insane (TDS).
