Yeah, I feel sorry for the MSM...just like I feel sorry for the illegal alien criminals being deported back to wherever they came from, and just like I feel sorry for government workers actually having to go to the office to WORK.

When I lost my job because I refused the jab and a mask I didn't get 8 months pay to ease my burden. Government workers should just shut up.

Expand full comment

Amen to that! And...did you see us out there protesting every little thing? Nope. Too busy trying to earn a living. The last 5 years! OMG....don't get me started.

And the stupid MSM (I only watch to see the weather) but I catch glimpses of stories here in Boise about Federal workers protesting Federal cuts. It breaks my heart for them...to have to go from a non-fireable bureaucrap job with benefits we could only dream of, to holding a hand-written protest sign, written on an old amazon box with their kids crayons because this admin took away all their slick USAID funded signs. And to add insult to injury they had to use the paint can stir sticks from Home Depot. Waaaaaahhhhhhh.

I truly hope you have been reinstated or found something you like better!

Thank you for your courage. It was super difficult to stand against that pressure and I was basically retired. I have so much respect for you that stood your ground with so much more to lose…

It was bad enough to believe I could never travel or eat out,or socialize, again. But,if I had to feed my family,I’m not sure I could have resisted:(

Former huge dem lib here. Funny how the “right wing” became the party of pro peace, free speech, pro Main Street….etc. Dems in their righteousness, have completely lost the plot and are out of touch with reality.

I'm troubled by "former huge dem" because I don't believe "the truth moved." The Clintons and the Obamas, and the Gores, etc., are cut from the same deceiving cloth. I'm glad you're here. I'm glad you were convinced, but I don't think the "right" wing "became" anything. In my lifetime it's always been about the truth; no, wait a moment, maybe dating to just after George Wallace. Certainly from Barry Goldwater on. However, at every point, it could be appealed to based on constitutional grounds.

Expand full comment

The “right wing “ needed /needs to continue to purge the neocons out of their midst. MAGA.

Expand full comment

They should be purged from powerful positions, but they need to be kept by the stove where the warmth can thaw their frozen parts.

I have trouble with this right and left thing. Because the more I look at it, it seems there are two of each. The corporate and congressional right or left wing (and their upper class social climbing syncophants) who put on a vaudeville show of hating each other while working together behind the scenes, and the working class average folks like us who watch the vaudeville show and are artificially divided into left or right sides when if we dumped the show and the labels and "tribes" and actually talk we tend to find we agree on most things or at least the big ones. And we find the people we were told to hate and fear aren't the monsters we were lead to believe.

And so often people take the crap from that top level as representative of the bottom or the good at the bottom level and attribute it to the top, depending on what side theyre spinning for. Which is pointless since they're not equivalent. At all. And the only purpose such equivocation serves is to keep us peasants from talking over the fences the upper class worked so hard to divide us with.

So I always have to ask, which left or right are we talking about? The rich one or the poor one? :)

Expand full comment

BINGO. The working class loses and soon they will be enslaved by authoritarian and technocratic rule. Aside: free speech is not about banning books.

We _really_ need to return to the founders' principle of LIMITING the vote to people WHO PAY FOR THE CONSEQUENCES, and take the vote AWAY from people WHO CANNOT, EVEN, EXPLAIN THE CONCEPT OF 'FEDERALISM.'

There.

It needed to be said.

Expand full comment

This lottalikes has made me wonder about putting it up for a vote--which was kind of the central point anyway; who gets to vote on who gets to vote?

I wonder how we'd all feel about adopting my virtual mentor Joe Sobran's proposal to limit voting to people who are not receiving government payments, of any kind, like Social Security... He concluded with, "It sure would make elections cheaper and simpler because me and the other guy would be the only two voting..."

I'd have to recuse myself. And there's probably a boatload of conservatives like my father who take money because "refusal would have no zero effect on the bureaucracy's determination to see it wasted."

(Requiescat in pace, Mr. Sobran. I wish you were here to help us think things through.)

I yawn when someone brays “right winger! hitler!, fascist! .” Sadly, they have now made those words powerless to the equivalent of grade schoolers shouting “poopy pants” or “you have cooties.” Or the ever powerful—“Ewwww, He touched me”. Or “who cut the cheese”. So pathetic. They need new insults.

I stopped watching MSM years ago and read mostly substacks written by people I trust to be telling the truth. I listen to a few podcasts as well. I’m not right wing and think of myself more of a critical thinker. I’m really tired of the MSM crying about their lack of viewership. Maybe make a change and start actually reporting and investigating instead of being a mouthpiece for big Pharma and whining woke individuals.

FOX tells a ton more truth than CNN and calls them out on a lot of their lies. I mostly read the substacks like this one as well as podcasts. It really annoys me though, when people put FOX and CNN in the same pot. FOX is not perfect, but they’re head and shoulders above CNN and MSNBC. Could we have a little discernment here?

I saw that post within a minute of it posting and my first reaction was a clenched stomach and tight throat. Seriously - it was an extreme physical reaction.

I think maybe that’s the reaction someone has who has been SEVERELY abused and now has to sit and listen to their abuser tell the whole world while pointing at them, “THEY were the abuser all along!”, in a convincing and Oscar-worthy performance.

I’ve had that experience several times in my life by mean kids in school, a sibling with less character than love, and guilty co-workers angry that I didn’t ride the same corrupt bus as them, and after so many years of our media misrepresenting us and painting us as pure evil every time we put a finger up and said, “that doesn’t make sense…” They caused us to literally lose friends, family, and sanity because of their lies, and now they are going to try so hard to paint us as the problem - AGAIN. After all that I guess my reaction to the post was understandable. I just wasn’t ready for smugness. I’m in angry righteous judge mode. I’m still too bitter and angry to laugh.

But I’m trying to. Your article helps.

Thank you, Jenna!

This is such a sad state of affairs for those who censored us so insidiously as our children lay dying and in need of all hands on deck for these heartless actors to dig deep into their conscience and broadcast a warning across their once vast "media waves" alerting the innocents of the deadly and disabling vaccine injuries -just as they do with a theater-fire like fervor when lettuce is contaminated.

I seem to have lost my tiny violin!

I don't know if you saw this WSJ article on the 15th. "Inside the Democrats’ new media strategy to reach voters and take on Trump: How Democratic lawmakers are turbocharging their presence online — both as content creators and collaborators with other influencers."

The article has entertainment value. The awkward and scripted boxing, punching, and flailing politicians are most curious and highly uninspiring. I fail to shake in my rebellious and fearless boots, except perhaps as I try to hold in my laughter while viewing this circus-like display.

Sorry about their ridiculously long URL!!
