@Schwalm5132

As a former Special Forces Warrant Officer with multiple rotations running counterinsurgency ops—both hunting insurgents and trying to separate them from sympathetic populations—I’ve seen organized resistance up close. From Anbar to Helmand, the pattern is familiar: spotters, cutouts, dead drops (or modern equivalents), disciplined comms, role specialization, and a willingness to absorb casualties while bleeding the stronger force slowly.

What’s unfolding in Minneapolis right now isn’t “protest.” It’s low-level insurgency infrastructure, built by people who’ve clearly studied the playbook.

Signal groups at 1,000-member cap per zone. Dedicated roles: mobile chasers, plate checkers logging vehicle data into shared databases, 24/7 dispatch nodes vectoring assets, SALUTE-style reporting (Size, Activity, Location, Unit, Time, Equipment) on suspected federal vehicles. Daily chat rotations and timed deletions to frustrate forensic recovery. Vetting processes for new joiners. Mutual aid from sympathetic locals (teachers providing cover, possible PD tip-offs on license plate lookups). Home-base coordination points. Rapid escalation from observation to physical obstruction—or worse.

This isn’t spontaneous outrage. This is C2 (command and control) with redundancy, OPSEC hygiene, and task organization that would make a SF team sergeant nod in recognition. Replace “ICE agents” with “occupying coalition forces” and the structure maps almost 1:1 to early-stage urban cells we hunted in the mid-2000s.

The most sobering part? It’s domestic. Funded, trained (somewhere), and directed by people who live in the same country they’re trying to paralyze law enforcement in. When your own citizens build and operate this level of parallel intelligence and rapid-response network against federal officers—complete with doxxing, vehicle pursuits, and harassment that’s already turned lethal—you’re no longer dealing with civil disobedience. You’re facing a distributed resistance that’s learned the lessons of successful insurgencies: stay below the kinetic threshold most of the time, force over-reaction when possible, maintain popular support through narrative, and never present a single center of gravity.

I spent years training partner forces to dismantle exactly this kind of apparatus. Now pieces of it are standing up in American cities, enabled by elements of local government and civil society. That should keep every thinking American awake at night.

Not because I want escalation. But because history shows these things don’t de-escalate on their own once the infrastructure exists and the cadre believe they’re winning the information war.

We either recognize what we’re actually looking at—or we pretend it’s still just “activism” until the structures harden and spread.

Your call, America. But from where I sit, this isn’t January 2026 politics anymore.

It’s phase one of something we’ve spent decades trying to keep off our own soil.

Jenna McCarthy's avatar

Damn. Talk about sobering.

“The rioters in Minneapolis have access to license plate databases - this proves state involvement.

Their Signal chats have elected leaders and exposed money trails from Canada - this proves foreign involvement.

They attack ICE agents and threaten journalists like @JamesOKeefeIII and @nickshirleyy - this proves violence.

What’s happening in Minnesota is foreign and domestic state-sponsored domestic terrorism.

Period.”

Outstanding and accurate post. This isn't "peaceful protest"; it is organized and funded anarchy. If it were the right behaving like this, it would be called out and recognized for what it is. This needs to be investigated and infiltrated like the national security risk that it is.

nancylee's avatar

Well who ever believed that what we practiced elsewhere wouldn't come home to roost?

The Great Resist's avatar

He’s saying it’s what the insurgents practiced against us. Terrorism.

Please provide a link if you would... though I am relatively assured that Soros is in the list, I would be very interested in seeing who his cronies are.

Thank you, Nard! I was just about to go on X and post it here! 👍

Without a shadow of a doubt, the most accurate assessment I have read (or heard of) for what's actually underlying this ongoing insurrection.

St. Alia the Knife's avatar

The bolsheviks (roughly: "the majority") called themselves that to infer that their numbers were much greater than they actually were. I am sure most Russian civilians were busy working and supporting their families and didn't realize they were being duped until it was too late. I would like to think we have learned our lesson but it appears not.

Evelyne's avatar

I’m in full agreement with what you’re saying. I find it well beyond disturbing yet I’m completely not at all surprised considering what has become “normal behavior “ in this last decade.

Point being, what, at this point, can one actually do? Yes, I STRONGLY believe in the power of prayer ~ but I sense it’ll get much worse before it gets any better, sadly. I live in California, and from everything I can surmise, it won’t be long until it’ll be happening here as well! (It probably already IS, but I happily don’t watch MSM especially the “news”.) Divide and conquer… control with fear! Get the lemmings to stand against the ones who are trying to actually protect you by eliminating the criminal element! How asinine to me that that’s what’s being fed to the public who is just gobbling it up.

There was a time, not too long ago when concerned parents who attended school board meetings to question the board members about ridiculous woke agenda that was woven into the school's curricula. These people were labeled "domestic terrorists" by the ruling junta at the time. Now it has morphed into policies that we see in locations like M-SP, Seattle, Portland, SF, NYC, the list is nearly endless. These same people are banking big on their capability to count votes, come the mid-terms. Repairs req'd to bring these systems back to functionality that favors the citizens of the USA are going to be quite costly, it seems.

Mary Ann Caton's avatar

Including small school districts like Titusville, PA! Until Trump rolled back the Biden era Title 9 rule that allowed boys in girl's bathrooms and locker rooms, Titusville's school board had voted unanimously to allow that! And this is a majority red area of rural Penna.

J. Lincoln's avatar

Indeed. Turns out that the actual "pandemic" of our time was not a covid virus, but rather a mental virus with its origins rooted in post modernism, a form of Neo-marxism that emerged in the immediate post- WWII era. Woke bullshit is but one of its many symptoms.

Tonee norman's avatar

Wow! That is a shocker..

Mary Ann Caton's avatar

IKR? And then those up for re-election all ran for and won....unopposed! zi have to wonder if parents around here even give a fig about who is running their kids' schools.

Tonee norman's avatar

And,you say this is STILL a predominantly RED county?

Disturbing.

Mary Ann Caton's avatar

Yeah, you can't win a city council seat if you're a Democrat/lib, but apparently voters are ok with putting them on the school board! Crazy making for sure.

Jewell's avatar

Well that was eye opening for me. This also no longer TDS. I have a friend (retired law enforcement) who this time around has lost his mind over Trump and I really wonder where his head is at with this crap.

Now my only question I have is: is this really more than what we are fed (peaceful protests) in the news? Because then this will only lead to what really is treasonous acts against our government and civil war. Are liberals that out of touch with reality that they can't see or won't see what's in front of their nose?

AJoy's avatar

It’s beyond TDS. It’s mental illness IMO with a side of virtue signaling. I have a very liberal family member who does not care about the facts, only listens to NPR and has posted many memes where DJT is depicted as HITler. I had to unfollow her. Her and her tribe are all the same, dress the same, eat the same, smell the same and care about everyone but Americans. In her mind she knows more than everyone else and loves to educate us peons. She is married to her spirit twin lol and there is no getting through to them. They are Bernie fans so It’s better if we don’t talk politics or religion.

Warrior Mom's avatar

I had to end a 40+ year friendship over nearly the same bullshit. 100% close-minded, would not even consider looking at an alternate opinion no matter how credentialed the individual. she considered it a moral failing on my part that I didn't share in her TDS. of course she bought the covid narrative, 'stand with Ukraine' and the J6 BS. the woman even used to try to argue religion with my mother! I made the mistake of trying to share a Substack by Heather Heying (Darkhorse podcast, wife of Bret Weinstein), with whom my former friend would have had 90% of her views in common but oh no... Heather expressed something less that loathing for DJT so that meant that I was stupid and 'fell for it' by listening to Bret & Heather. nope sorry, I'm done being belittled (for years!) by someone who barely graduated high school. too sad! (rant over ;) )

This is Mossad and CIA ops leading this. The same people who led the Arab spring and the entire fake George Floyd operation - and Jan 6 ( guess what folks, Ashli Babbit isn't really dead. It was a fake bullet, fake blood, candy-glass windowpanes. The entire thing was an OP). And yes, I've seen video of that with time stamps, multiple camera angles, the "concerned bystanders" pumping her leg - so the blood would go up the tube towards her neckline and "spurt" out, etc

Well thank goodness Katy is putting her PhD in political policy to good work by advising the government and its citizens how to feel about ICE, immigration, and illegal criminals. Whatever would we do without her celebrity insight? And here I thought she was just another has-been HollyWeird nobody. 😎

Jennifer L.'s avatar

Jenna, from the video clips I have seen of Katy Perry’s live shows I am at a total loss as to why anyone would ever pay $$ to see her in person. But then again I am older than you and did not have daughters who may have liked Katy Perry or Taylor Swift (thank God for small miracles).

Jenna McCarthy's avatar

I knew about her early because I lived in Santa Barbara and so did she. (Her sister taught my kids music!) Back when I first saw her (maybe 16 years ago?) it was a SHOW. She'd walk through what looked like an ordinary hoola hoop and come out the other side in a different outfit. The costumes and dancing were outrageous. I went TWICE for heaven's sake (and I've probably been to a dozen concerts in twenty years). Loooooong time ago, tho.

Jennifer L.'s avatar

Jenna, thanks for the feedback. Maybe this was before KP traded (or sold) her soul for mega-star fame? I figure this happens with 99% of these mega-stars who seem to live unhappy lives behind the scenes.

It's BLM virtue signaling all over again, and it is exhausting. People need to talk to actual cops. My brother was a Fed (US Marshall), and it is actually pretty amusing to talk to him about this stuff. Non law enforcement families have no clue. (for the record, there are bad cops...just like there are insane doctors and nurses...honestly probably more insane nurses than bad cops, but I digress)

Great point. They apparently don't realize it's not gonna work this time.

But given that what's going on in MN (fraud, voter fraud, political fraud) is indefensible, they've got nothing else other than calling everyone racists and nazis.

But they've got to make a stand, because if they lose MN, they'll lose America.

Unfortunately, this is just another sad example of Hollywood Has-beens trying to remain relevant. Katy must be center of attention no matter what. It's sad really that she has so little self esteem that she has to act as bizarrely as possible to grab the spotlight in order to feel important. It's never enough Katy...

lol!! If there is anyone that is allowed to criticize Katy Perry, it's definitely a fan that has been sprayed in the face by her whipped cream boobs!

Just here to drop my usual PSA: Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau like most other famous people we see on the world stage are Assets of the ruling class. This is a great substack that breaks down the current power structure of our world in an easily digestible and fascinating way. I hope you appreciate it as much as I enjoyed reading it: https://open.substack.com/pub/thedukereport/p/the-power-structure-of-the-world

On the subject of famous rockstars with public opinions, Van Morrison is one of the few that continue to keep it real. https://youtu.be/ntur_ywcxeQ

Thank you for mentioning Van the Man! I have the great privilege of front row seats at the SF palace of fine arts in SF,next month. We were neighbors,YEARS ago, and, the show’s he puts on..I think he’s 80 now,are absolutely fabulous. And,he’s a snappy dresser, too!…no whipped cream, anywhere!🎶🤩🎶

Karen Bandy's avatar

Van Morrison is one of the very few entertainers whom I would even consider spending money to see. But now that I think about it, $300-400 in a large venue, no thanks.

Maybe a small bar on Fairfax… Shawn Mullins reference 😉

Tonee norman's avatar

This is a VERY small, beautiful old theater. Not a bad seat in the house. But,I STILL would not go without front row seats…He comes back about every year..

I attended very few “Star Quality “ concerts, these days. Van’s shows being the last 3 I have attended in the last 3 years. I can’t get enough of him!

Most of the musicians I admire( and go see) these days are bluegrass musicians. Always small venues and,if it is a festival, the “stars” Will be out, after the shows are over at 10pm,pickin’ and grinin’with us fans..if we feel good and, brave enough…🎶😬🎶..

If you meant “Fairfax California, that’s the town that Van lived up the hill from where I lived…wonderful, long lost days…

Karen Bandy's avatar

Wow, what a coincidence that I mentioned the line about the bar on Fairfax. Yes, California.

Where is the old theatre that you’ve been seeing him?

The Mullins song is ‘Lullaby’

‘Well, she grew up with the children of the stars

In the Hollywood hills and the boulevards

Her parents threw big parties, everyone was there

They hung out with folks like Dennis

Hopper and Bob Seger and Sonny and Cher

She feels safe now in this bar on Fairfax

And from the stage I can tell that

She can't let go and she can't relax

And just before she hangs her head to cry

I sing to her a lullaby’

The Palace of Fine arts is a landmark from the 1915 Worlds fair exhibition, and, has been a beautiful little park and location for a number of small scale exhibits and events, over the years. The beautiful little theater there, that Van will play in,is a treasure and I’m very grateful that Van is willing to play there…Kinda “roots” for him,I guess..🎶

Karen Bandy's avatar

That is a beautiful place, I’ve walked around that park.

Darn, five years ago we could have made a trip of it, walked around the city, visited museums. Now I have no desire to visit.

We’re in Central Oregon.

Tonee norman's avatar

Yes. I understand…I used to live a block from it and walked there and to the boats at the Marina, every day. Those were very special times, for sure. I’d walk the other way, over the old fort and end up at Fisherman’s Warf and Giradelli square…peaceful people sitting and drumming and tourists everywhere. You could put your guitar case out and play some tunes and get enough money for dinner in an hour..those days are very unlikely to ever return, I am heartbroken by the destruction of my beautiful birth city. I NEVER go into the city anymore. Fortunately, the Palace of fine arts is just over the GG bridge. No need to traverse the city at all.

I donated to the Canadian truckers. My money was returned, AFTER GoFundMe initially said THEY had chosen “another worthy charity” for MY donation! I was livid. Somewhere in that time I began looking into Trudeau, and OH MY WORD, I had no clue…

Russell Brand could really shine a spotlight on this fiasco of Katy’s. I can’t believe she’s dating JT.

Can we send her back into orbit?

With all due respect to your concert preferences Jenna, I can’t imagine caring about whatever comes out of Katy Perry’s mouth whether set to “music” or not. But for you I wouldn’t have been aware of her continued existence, so thanks for that. I guess.
