As I see it, someone has to find a way to sideline the shock troop loons in the Democrat party and Florida looks like it has the answer. I’m tired of coddling them.

It would be refreshing to hear our NY Sheriff's warn the potential troublemakers in such language. Maybe then the troublemakers will spend thier time in Mom's basement screaming in frustration.....

The rest of us can enjoy a peaceful Saturday.

Somehow, I doubt we'll have any trouble here in South Dakota (it's too far for the lunatics to drive here and nobody would give them any press coverage either).

Don't be too sure. The map at nokings.org shows riots (oops I mean mostly peaceful protests) in every one of the lower 48 states. Seven in South Dakota. I hope they flop in the red states, but there are leftist loonies everywhere.

My husband said we aren't leaving Texas but if we did, it would be to Florida. Here's some peak Texas for you. When my son was 5 and in kindergarten, a classmate brought his new (unloaded) rifle to "show and tell." No he didn't get in trouble. All the little boys went home and begged their parents for a rifle for Christmas. A new-ish to Texas mom complained. Teacher said, " This is Texas, ma'am... we believe in the 2nd amendment." 😂

That’s very different from my experience in a suburban Dallas public school: when my son was in 2nd grade (~2002), he wore a Texas Tech t-shirt to school one day. The shirt had the Tech double-T logo, a drawing of a hand in the Tech “guns up” position, and the words “Guns Up!” He was so proud of that shirt. When we picked him up that afternoon, the front of his shirt had been covered up with duct tape, and the teacher told us if he wore that shirt to school again, they’d send him home. That was crossing the line for die-hard Texas Tech alums — we moved our kids to a private school the next year where they could wear a Tech guns up t-shirt if they wanted (on Fridays 😆).

😂 Good for you! Definitely crossed the line! Yeah Dallas got invaded by Blue. I live in Amarillo and we're about a decade behind in everything. It might be different now too. This was in the 80's.

“Peaceful Protest” is an interesting phrase. Only brain dead Americans could embrace the term. Peaceful is my morning meditation, my walk in nature, quiet and serene, a kitten or puppy sleeping beside me. The word protest holds vibrations completely opposite of peaceful. Protest “feels” way down on the energy scale. Anger, ire, distrust, fear. The vibrational alignment of the phrase makes absolutely no sense. I guess it’s just a smokescreen for the crazies.

I love my state. I would rather have a Governor and sheriff that protects us than a state like California. I have no problem with it. I believe in the second amendment, by the way it has nothing to do with hunting. I look at every sh*thole that runs over their citizens and what is the first thing they do before they run you over? Gun control, lawlessness, and speeches about tolerance unless of course you disagree with the first two. I love the fact that if you block my car I can treat you like a bowling pin. If you attack me and I defend myself, I won't be the one going to jail. Orange County and Broward are blue. I wouldn't give two cents for their sheriff's. Unfortunately I live in Orange. And it shows by our city councils and leaders. I'm a not crazy person. I'm a great grandma that is fed up with the nonsense.
