Thing is - most of us aren't opposed to diversity when it happens naturally. We're opposed to forced diversity to meet a quota. It quickly becomes obvious when someone was hired for that reason rather than their ability to do the job. There's been a lot more "noticing" lately and that's apparently verboten....
Sensing the way the wind was blowing, I impulsively registered our two youngest's birth certificates with "Race" as "native American," which they demonstrably are. I can imagine it may cause trouble later, like if that threatened war between cowboys and Indians ever breaks out, but at the time I was driven to shake my fist at "the man."
Good point! If a person is born on American soil, aren't they "native American"? I never thought of that. I may just put that on my job applications when they ask my race.
That is right. Having watched the entire video of what happened before he ended up on the ground, and without being influenced by his disgusting thug life of assault and drugs, it is obvious (to me) that George was not murdered. Then the so-called family cashed in and the Left created a martyr. If you have no Judeo/Christian moral foundation and choose to embrace (leftist) identity politics as your religion, you have to demonize the Truth, twist the Facts and worship Idols.
Make America a Meritocracy Again. We all live better when the best people are placed in the right job. Isn’t it all about the “content of our character and not the color of our skin” that matters?
Living in a meritocracy means that I might not get that job I was salivating over, and so be it, if the better qualified candidate gets it. But when the candidate gets it because of the color of their skin and not based on merits, we will all suffer.
John, it's like elections have reduced to one side getting four years to make the other side do stuff. I understand that high-school civics would be immediately perverted to train more voting-bots, but if America is going to survive, it needs SOMETHING to draw people back to the founding IDEALS.
Hillsdale College has a couple of brand new online courses (free, fairly short, and easy to digest) concerning the American Revolution and the Founding of the country, including the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution:
It absolutely is, I've taken like 15 of their free courses, including the Constitution and the different courses.
They just produced a new 2 hr documentary called "Revolutionary America" and added another course to go with it consisting of 6 lectures called "Revolutionary America: From Subjects to Citizens."
Jenna sorry to change the subject , I am at an ICIM meeting in Dearborn Michigan at the present time … Aaron Siri is speaking as I write this , his speech, … excellent…dear Lord …. Please we the people, keep fighting . 🙏💥❤️🙏
DEI = Didn’t Earn It! (Why have I never seen that before?! Love it!) Also loving Kamala, Clinton’s and Biden protected by DEI-only hires… good one, Jenna!
Frankly, I would support taking that protection away. Not to mention the presidential pension. Where else can you work for four years and get $200,000 for life after that?!
Any sort of diversity in an organization might make it slightly more biologically resilient (which is why we don’t marry our cousins), but it also makes it weaker culturally.
The greatest strength comes from all members of a body pulling the same direction at the same time with the same strength. No one ever added a 38lb 6yo girl to their tug-o-war team because they believed she could really help the rest of the 250lb men win.
Happy DEI Friday! All news is fake news but also the other ones too. Let's talk about everything else but the important stuff. That's what the news is all about.
Hahaha 😆. Of course! Distract, distract, and then double down on the uber distractions.
As an owner of a small company, I hired and fired people. I didn’t relish either job, but I hired those who had the temperament and skills to perform commensurately. Perform at the prescribed level and you kept your job.
Working for me wasn’t a “dress rehearsal” or some sort of placeholder nor a “gap year!” I was all business; every day, all day long. Don’t like working hard, achieving, or having meaning or purpose?! Here’s the door…
I LOVED what I did every day with every cell in my body. I was very good at what I made my life’s purpose for over 25 years. My passion was downright contagious and it still drives my purpose today. Find your meaning and purpose and you will succeed beyond your wildest expectations.
I’m old enough to remember when diversity hiring quotas were to include women and veterans. But they still should have been merit based.
Has anyone ever thought about how some high prices may be from companies carrying DEI hires that cannot do the job, so the position has to pay 1-2 extra people for that position? Oh wait, that’s government.
Even so, if more people were in the tattooing industry, there would be even more, and more innovative, tattoo patterns.
If everyone were shanghaied into the tattooing industry, we'd have the most innovative tattoo patterns possible, until newborns could be brought in at later dates.
In all of this, is anyone ever going to be allowed to ask, "Do ANY of the tattoo patterns, old or new, SUCK?!" or "How many tattoo patterns Never Get Used (Because They SUCK)?"
ANYONE can "innovate."
("shanghaied" and "tattooing" for double-word scores of 17-eleven.)
I was born and raised in the 60s and 70s, and was taught - mostly through osmosis- to be color blind. Worked through school, Army Basic Training, and through my working years. It was only since the George Floyd Year of Excellence that I was forced to notice, and it turns out that wasn’t a good thing. I haven’t been impressed by what I’ve noticed. But hey, it’s Hispanic Asian Heritage Month at my mega company, so you go girls/guys/otherkinz. Chalk it all up to “what a stupid time to be alive.”
Marxists believe that if you proclaim a “Lie” loud, often, with conviction, censor criticism and pay the media to reinforce it, the “Lie” eventually becomes the Truth. Marxists are relentless until they get punched in the nose.
Before DEI there was Affirmative Action. I didn't think that was fair either. All of a sudden racism was okay if it was against whites. Yes let's fix racism by reversing the preferred race. Makes sense. 🙃

DEI is discrimination. I have concerns as a mom trying to launch 2 white men into the job market.
Sensing the way the wind was blowing, I impulsively registered our two youngest's birth certificates with "Race" as "native American," which they demonstrably are. You have an infamous female Senator for precedent!
Same Molly
The 2008 presidential election made it "noticeable".... if noticeable is a synonym for disastrous.
George Floyd was not murdered. I work with 4 white women. I hire qualified people who have critical thinking skills and are not easily offended.
Correct. He died of a drug overdose.
That is right. Having watched the entire video of what happened before he ended up on the ground, and without being influenced by his disgusting thug life of assault and drugs, it is obvious (to me) that George was not murdered. I was coming here to say that!
Me too!

And just look at our DEI candidates that we had to choose from, with Kamala Harris being the face of DEI: ! https://lizlasorte.substack.com/p/this-is-the-face-of-dei?r=76q58
Make America a Meritocracy Again? These days I've been wanting a good excuse to cry for my MAMA anyway. Thanks, Liz.
😆
Let's keep it simple: less government!
We don't need to be told what to do. (well, maybe some of us do)
John, it's like elections have reduced to one side getting four years to make the other side do stuff. I understand that high-school civics would be immediately perverted to train more voting-bots, but if America is going to survive, it needs SOMETHING to draw people back to the founding IDEALS.
I think it's up to us to educate each other on what those founding ideals were!
THAT, John, will involve "listening" to each other. I honestly wonder if we're past that.
Yes indeed! Listening is a lost art!
Hillsdale College has a couple of brand new online courses (free, fairly short, and easy to digest) concerning the American Revolution and the Founding of the country, including the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution:
https://online.hillsdale.edu.
Hillsdale has been around since 1844 and is a good conservative college.
Hillsdale is awesome!
It absolutely is, I've taken like 15 of their free courses, including the Constitution and the different courses.
They just produced a new 2 hr documentary called "Revolutionary America" and added another course to go with it consisting of 6 lectures called "Revolutionary America: From Subjects to Citizens."
"Me too" 💗 They do exceptionally well done courses!
Thank you for reminding me to take Hillsdale courses! I read their newsletters and love the lectures. I will check it out today!
Could be called LGI (less government intrusion).
Hahahahaha, sounds like a mobile phone model: mixed Fruit (Apple) and Less Government
DEI = Do Expect Incompetence.
Don't Expect Innovation.
Don’t Expect Intelligence
Don’t Expect Integrity
Dimwitted Exasperating Idiots

Amen. We must never give up Bro.
Wish I could have joined you at that conference. I would have worn my “ask me about the clots” button. 🤣

Especially since they go on to cash in on lectures and appearances….all become multi-millionaires.

The tug-of-war metaphor you introduce well describes the N-dimensional cultural situation in [air-quotes] "our" "country."

A DEI hire is always doomed to failure!

You had me at Samoan lesbians.
How many tattoo patterns are there?

Enforced diversity is the endless war against merit.

That sounds like the thinking of someone way high up with more money than brains, with no common sense.
