Our form of governent was created to slow down the advancement of tyranny by people with a lust for the abuse of power. These people are in panic mode that they'll lose the ability to cheat in elections with apathetic, dead, illegal and non-voters that are heavily enabled by Obama's Govt service-voter registration schemes and backed by illegal manipulations of votes via machines, with fake ballots on call.
Did I mention the fake emergencies (plumbing leaks of urinals and bomb threats to clear out a building where votes are counted? I sure hope there are hidden cameras placed in such rooms across the country to catch those bulk shipments of ballots)

How exactly do they think the insurrection act works? Trump would have the military arrest every single dem governor who tried to support or defend the riots that the insurrection act was called to suppress.

Isn't that what made 'voting' so important? That the other side was going to do things that violate our rights and make life unbearable (both sides are doing it and not holding the other accountable).
What does that even mean? If those in office are unable or unwilling to advance our country .... why are they in office? Why have an office? Makes no sense to wish for grid-lock or a do-nothing congress.

I do wish that conservatives would refrain from speaking of the USA as a “democracy”. We are a Republic. Democracy is mob rule and the Founders (wise men truly) understood this and tried to set up a voting system to prevent mob rule. With the exception of a few small hamlets in the extreme Northeast we elect representatives to make and execute our laws. Even where amendments to state constitutions take place by vote, the amendment is placed on the ballot by the legislature. Here it requires a 60 percent vote to pass and still requires the legislature to then pass it into the Constitution of my state.
