I’m actually confused. I haven’t been following this and after reading Jenna’s take on this, I didn’t know this was such a botched investigation. But about the bullet that supposedly killed him, you rarely ever find a pristine bullet like it looks while is still in the casing before firing. If it hits anything of substance like bone (or wood or metal after exit), it’s going to at least deform and possibly fragment, and fragments are almost impossible to validate ballistically. I’d actually question it more if they DID claim to match a ballistics test from fragments.
Now if he’s a patsy, was setup, and truly believes he is the killer, is convicting him a mistake? No. The mistake is not pursuing whomever else might have also been involved.

Police dramas have their "Internal Affairs Divisions" on the teevee that take an antagonist's position in their investigations. Given what we know now, we need a full-blown Cabinet-level Department of Don't-Even-Think-About-It-B*st*rds, and one to watch it, and one to watch that one, and so on. Until we ALL have government jobs: Socialism by Another Route.
I rather think our Founders were very savvy about the evils in the world, because back then, they knew exactly how evil it had been recently for the first people to escape to America from persecutions from Rome and England! They were very educated men and knew the adversaries well. That's how they knew to write the excellent constitution they ended up with!. They knew the Dark Ages had been overcome by the Protestant Reformation when freedom was first gained in history by the average people! But I see what you are saying. The world is evil and we do need more good people to fight the evil.

The freemason founders?
The Freemasons were likely infiltrators, not the full on initiators. This is a firmly Protestant founded country, by Presbyterian roots, without one doubt. That is precisely why Freemasons had to stop or control what was happening!!! But God Almighty is sovereign , which they know not. Our founders had a Christian Reformed Protestant foundation! Freemasonry was pretty new.

I’m actually confused. I haven’t been following this and after reading Jenna’s take on this, I didn’t know this was such a botched investigation. So many questions now that probably will never be answered. Charlie Kirk was brave to be so honest and upfront with his beliefs. It’s a sad commentary on our society that someone silenced him. A tragedy for his family.

I truly have no idea and you’ve made some great points.
But about the bullet that supposedly killed him, you rarely ever find a pristine bullet like it looks while is still in the casing before firing. If it hits anything of substance like bone (or wood or metal after exit), it’s going to at least deform and possibly fragment, and fragments are almost impossible to validate ballistically. I’d actually question it more if they DID claim to match a ballistics test from fragments.
Now if he’s a patsy, was setup, and truly believes he is the killer, is convicting him a mistake? No. The mistake is not pursuing whomever else might have also been involved.
That will never be done because everything is so infiltrated and corrupted now. There can be no real justice in this.
Your analysis on the bullet fragment is spot on. If this was some government-level cover up I would have expected them to ‘fake’ a matching bullet fragment to seal the deal. Not saying the cover-up team couldn’t be incompetent as well, but there are just so many holes…

This is by far the best account regarding the murder of Charlie Kirk that I've read anywhere.
Jenna blows away Candace and some of the others by her common sense descriptions of what happened, how it happened, what the possibilities are that are based in reality.
My first impulse when this happened was that it was not just a Lone Wolf. It never is. I am back to my conspiracy theorist positions after reading Jenna's hypotheses.

Isn’t anyone else sick of how every time there is a high profile shooting, murder, or attempted murder there is all this scrubbing of evidence, or loss of evidence, or lack of procedural adherence? It is astonishing to me. I get that law enforcement at every level are human beings too, and mistakes can be made. But a lot of times, these are not mistakes. They are deliberate acts that make no logical sense what so ever. Things are handled in such a way, that one cannot help but wonder what the truth really is! From JFK all the way to Charlie Kirk - in my opinion, we never get the truth. Infuriating. And I have long been choking on their B.S.
