Thanks, Jenna, for boiling this controversy down to the real point: her silence on the mRNA shots says everything. But I don't understand what's going on behind the scenes. None of us do. So I will keep praying, and watch and see.
I am split and see the great arguments on both sides. Here’s some thoughts to confuse us more:
I couldn’t help but notice when Bret Baier interviewed RFKJr last night along with Makary, Oz, and Battacharya that there were at least two men there who were canceled for speaking out against the Covid vaccine. They KNOW the truth. These are the people she will be working and interacting with. She’s still young too. If she indeed cares as much about honesty and integrity as much as she claims she does, surely these men will have an enormous influence on her? That’s hopeful. She doesn’t have more power than them in her role, she is basically their mouthpiece.
And maybe like RFKJr, all this time she has never addressed Covid because she could not get into the right places to do anything good by doing so, and they are biding their time? The powerful control of pharma and the deep state is still too prevalent.
Of course all this depends on how deeply the establishment claws have already gotten into her, if at all. My head is still scratching that RFKJr has never addressed Covid either, so why are we persecuting her more than we have him? Why was he given trust and faith but she gets none? We aren’t applying our emotions about this issue equally.
And I’m fully aware she may be a decoy. Ugh. All we can do is pray that the right forces influence her.
I trust RFK Jr far more because he has written several books and given many speeches helping people like me understand the harms of the vaccines. Without him, I might still be blind to the damage the vaccines are doing. Casey Means is the opposite when it comes to integrity related to the harm of vaccines.
But that was basically RFKJr’s life’s work. Casey is young and her focus was never on vaccines. Why would she take up a mantel she has not been trained or tested in? It’s not her wheelhouse yet we are judging her on her integrity for that wheelhouse.
First, I agree that a young person has much more to lose by speaking out. But I disagree that vaccines was RFK Jr's life work. His training was law and his life work was protecting the environment from polluters. (Recall, that's how he earned Time magazine's Man of the Year award.) Yet, when he was given a stack of articles in the medical literature on vaccines, although he was still relatively young, he was compelled to speak out about that issue.
Similarly, vaccines wasn't Steve Kirsch's wheelhouse either, but (like RFK Jr) he learned and then spoke out as soon as he understood how serious the vaccine harms are. Ditto with Naomi Wolf, and myself and many others who had far less background in vaccines than Casey has. So, it doesn't need to be your wheelhouse to notice and understand that the harm is both serious and widespread. And the logical next step for those with integrity and a big heart is to speak out about it.
For Casey, she's either educated or uneducated on the (lack of) safety and efficacy of the Covid and other childhood vaccines. If she's uneducated on that issue, she's not qualitied to be Surgeon General, since it's currently one of the top issues in public health today.
For that reason, I believe she's aware of the harms that vaccines are causing and, unlike RFK Jr, she has consistently chosen not to speak up about that although she proudly speaks out against other harms of Big Medicine. That makes me not trust her ethics or her ability to discern what's most important to advocate for in the role of Surgeon General. And in my book "not my wheelhouse" is a way to dodge responsibility, which also leads me to question her trustworthiness.
I feel it's possible to support whatever she does to educate everyone on the importance of consuming whole foods that haven't been sprayed with pesticides while also staying clear that she's completely failing on the bigger issue of the vaccines given during gestation, on the first day of birth, and the first two years after birth.
I just now finished listening to Megyn Kelly with the Ruthless cast on this topic (yesterday’s episode) and I really like her take on Casey. It’s worth a listen to understand how any of us are willing to give her a chance.
I do believe you’re comparing apples and oranges when comparing all those wonderful people with Casey. She is far younger and has far less exposure and experience than they all had when they started to speak up. I believe if she is who many of us think she is that when we look back 5-10 years from now she will be seen as outspoken as they all are. If she’s not then we will know you are right. I feel it’s way too soon to judge her this harshly and I believe those who wish to harm the solidarity of MAHA as well as prevent the truth of the vaccines getting widely accepted are behind the infiltration of our party with serious doubts about her. I think it’s a planned campaign against her but rather than openly it was seeded from within.
I like Megyn Kelly, but in that podcast she's highly dismissive of "anti-vaxxers" ' concerns. I feel that dismissive attitude could be doing quite a bit of harm to the trust and cohesion in the MAHA movement, especially because it's coming from a spokesperson with personal connections to the leaders of the MAGA/MAHA movement.
Casey's "far less exposure and experience", and the need to wait to find out whether she will eventually advocate for very healthy alternatives to vaccines, are two more reasons that I feel she's not a great candidate for Surgeon General.
I have no problem with Casey's tunnel-vision on food if she is in a position that's appropriate for that tunnel vision. I've been a big fan of her work in educating people about the harms of our Big Ag and Big Food industry. I feel that's appropriate for someone working at the USDA or the FDA, but not for HHS. It's my judgment that her "wheelhouse" is not in advocating for the overall health of our children because so far she has demonstrated a very big blind spot with respect to the pharmaceuticals that are causing the most severe harms to our children's health - seizures, SIDS, the SV-40 and dna contamination in the Covid vaccines, and so forth.
I believe the 3M+ infants that will be born in the U.S. this year deserve for the Surgeon General to be concerned about the vaccine harms and to be able to offer and advocate for healthy alternatives *now*. If you were being born this year and you had young parents who trust the recommendations of their pediatrician, I believe you would agree that the Surgeon General and all other adults in this country who are aware of the harm should be speaking out on this issue.
Another relatively young professional who learned about the harms of vaccines and then made the choice to speak out - with full agreement and encouragement from his wife and partner in their law firm - was Aaron Siri. They understood that they would lose ALL of their large corporate clients which were referred to them by a major law firm in San Francisco - and that’s what happened. Yet they did right by the millions of infants and children who are being harmed, and (over the years since) they are having some of the greatest impact on generating the governmental as well as public MAHA support for change.
I will be happy when Casey decides to advocate for the children who are being harmed (when it inevitably becomes acceptable to do so) but I don’t have confidence in someone who plays it safe rather than speaking up. Maybe she’s the best choice of those who can pass Senate confirmation, but that’s an indication that the people who are not confirmable need to keep pressing for real change because the infants and toddlers (and older children and adults who are also harmed by vaccines) are only helped by the real leaders who are willing to prioritize this issue in spite of the personal cost.
Just a friendly reminder Megyn Kelly got the Jabs and I read somewhere that she now suffers from VAIDS. Look at her, she’s but a shadow of her former self, painfully thin.
Juju dude or dudette... we don’t have 5-10 years to stop the great vax poisoning from utterly destroying our youth and bankrupting the honest. While those profiting from mRNA and other poisonous biologicals become our overlords in a digital concentration camp.
If you are to be the Surgeon General of the USA, running the Public Health Corps, then vaccines and the damages of vaccines need to be “in your wheelhouse”.
If she hasn't already learned this, I feel there are better candidates for Surgeon General. Also, it seems equally likely to me that she'll stay focused metabolic health issues.
It seems that RFK Jr has confidence in her nomination so we'll see how it all plays out. I don't want to second-guess his game plan. I just feel that her nomination is very concerning from the point of view of how soon the vaccine harms may be addressed, and I'd like to see more people speaking out against any further delays in overcoming the harm of the lies about the vaccines that are told to unsuspecting young parents.
I'm at the end of my career. A number of my peers when I started out chose to chase top leadership as their success path. All said the same thing before and after reaching the top.
Before, it was "I have to play by the rules to reach a position with the power to change the rules."
After, it was (and is) "I've learned why it has to be that way and cannot be changed."
What eventually leaked out subtly was keeping the power requires continuing the status quo. And I want to keep the power for all the other good things I can do.
The unspoken part is "...things I can do for me."
Power corrupts. Sociopaths don't care how they get and keep the power. Non sociopaths either become what they despise or reveal they never had the morals we (or they) believed they had.
They old quote fits. "Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely."
I feel your ‘devil’s advocate” position about Ms. Means is a bit misplaced. You might want to do some deeper digging into both her and her brother Calley’s “backgrounds”, before they popped up singing their MAHA tune on Tucker Carlson’s show. Where were she and her brother in 2020, 2021, 2022, & 2023? They were nowhere in the “Medical Freedom/Health Freedom Movement”. Were they speaking out about the Scamdemic/Plandemic, COVID, the vaxxes and whatnot?
Yep, they are newbies to the medical freedom movement. and they are surely much younger than most of us. But I believe they’ll be up to snuff very quickly and become powerful advocates for medical freedom and also for Vaccine Safety, or better yet—vaccine obsolescence.
Despite my being an anti-VAXXER for 45 years or more, I find Casey’s message about ultra-processed food to be just as important—& maybe more important. After all, our ability to withstand toxic crap like vaccines, resta in a strong constitution that must be grounded in whole unprocessed foods.
Where are all the anti-VAXXERS talking about ultra-processed food? It’s a primary cause of our severe epigenetic damage. Why aren’t the medical freedom people talking about the dangers of ultra-processed food? Our children, as well as the rest of us will continue to deteriorate—even after getting rid of vaccines—if we continue a diet of soda pop, Froot Loops and the like.
I've done some digging. Both said in recent interviews something to the effect they didn't know enough about vaccines to discuss it when pressed. That's fine if you're lining up as a narrow subject expert. Surgeon General is not that.
She simply cannot avoid the existential medical issue of our time and be an effective S.G.
Here's my argument why that's true... Her focus is save the children from bad food and no exercise. Ok, great. That will keep them from chronic problems starting in a couple years to early death in 20+ yrs.
But the mRNA jabs are disabling and killing the same kids NOW. EVERY DAY.
With her one sided strategy, 7% of those kids will be disabled or dead before they are ever significantly harmed by bad food. It's just far slower.
It's like telling a diver 100's of feet below the ocean that just ran out of oxygen he cannot ascend to the surface to breath because it's so bad to get the bends. The bends don't matter if you die before you get them.
Same thing here. Stop the immediate killing. Then save their future.
My question is this : What exactly does a surgeon general actually DO? Doesn anyone remember a surgeon general ever being some huge voice in the crowd that everyone turned to for guidance on all things health? I actually feel like all of this hullabaloo about her, on both sides, is just distraction and her role really means nothing at the end of the day. My guess is that, we either don’t hear a lot from her regardless of her views (bc media will make sure we don’t) or there is a slight possibility of hope that she will get into the role and be emboldened to speak up finally on the matter and lend her voice to the others that are calling for the entire vax industry to be turned upside down. Likely it will be somewhere in the middle and it means very little because it isn’t a role that has any real bearing on the nation’s health or health choices.

I tended to side with Calley in the strategy of having a bigger voice if you don't take on BigPharma and vaccines as part of the battle. They would have been buried before they could talk about seed oils or toxic food and dyes.
Yes, there could be a setup here, but that is the same with all of MAHA as it seemed to come out of nowhere and now we have the dream team. Personally, I think the vaccine issue is going to explode on its own without help from people trying to fix our foods.

Dr. Malone’s substack was worth reading & considering - though I know some in the medical freedom movement don’t trust him; he’s experienced the attacks from within & makes good points on what’s behind them imo. Because of President Trumps involvement with warp speed it’s a tricky situation for MAHA until Trump is ready to know the nasty truth on C non vaccines. I’m not sure he knows, Trump even stated he’s never met Casey & that he trusted RFK’s recommendation. It seems RFK is backing into the topic with his announced vaccine testing announcement. Maybe the results will open the door to shutting down the mRNA platform. It’s hard to be patient because so many of us have known the truth for so long. Here is a speech she gave recently and she actually says the word vaccine twice and neither time as a mark of favor. And in all honesty I think it's been posited that aluminum is the inflammatory culprit in the shots and they need to study using them without the inflammatory adjuvants.
The people supporting RFK did it BECAUSE he promised to take on big pharma and vaccines. That is the bigger voice we want to hear. If they can’t stand up to them, what is the point of them being there? Nothing will change and that is not acceptable.
RFK has a history and background on the whole vaccine issue. He is the one to deal with that head on. Casey's background has nothing to do with vaccines but a lot to do with nutrition and toxins in our foods. It is good to keep her narrative about what she does best. We can't dismiss anyone because they didn't agree and address EVERYTHING we want them to. RFK for vaccines/mRNA/Fauci and Casey for nutrition, food quality, and general health.
Vaccines and vaccine injuries are a far bigger “health” threat to people’s lives and the lives of their children than “toxic food, dyes and seed oils”.
It is all through the interview. Jack is a real ass**** and in the end he does make a point, but it is quite awkward in the way he does it. Mary doesn't get enough time and she is more level headed. I don't think Calley was educated enough about vaccines to respond to many of Jacks claims and that illustrates exactly why vaccines should not be a part of the Means agenda.
Okay, I listened and yes, I was frustrated with Means' cautious replies, but see it differently than you. Pharma is, like the SAD (Standard American Diet), much like one of those ships at sea that take a ten mile radius and hours to turn around. Add to that, about half the ship's crew believe they should keep moving straight ahead and could mutiny against the crazies who suggest otherwise.
Nor should she be a part of the ‘Surgeon General’ agenda. Because after all this is what this “conversation” here is all about. Is she a “qualified candidate” for that position, based upon her ‘legitimate credentials and experience”? I feel she is not.
It is interesting how you seem to have a test for Surgeon General that requires them to be vocally anti-vaccine even though no Surgeon General nominee in the past has been. You are ready to say no to this nomination who does want to take toxins out of foods where no other nominee has in the past. On top of that, she has spoken out about the vaccine damage being a concern in the link posted above, but taking aluminum out is not enough. In fact I don't think you would be happy with ANY nomination for Surgeon General that could possibly be nominated.

I’m rolling with trust but verify. And I don’t think for a second that Kennedy has given up on the elephant in the room. Goodness he has four years to get it together let’s give the man some room to work. He needs to change the hearts and minds of the vast majority not just those who already agree with him. That’s going to take monumental work.
Verify signifies watch and report, see if she does the right things. On thing is for sure she won't be saying it's okay to keep eating the garbage we are being fed and remain healthy. And by NOT opining on vaccines yea or nay she is at least not validating they are fine. There are a few things you must remain silent on if you want to find yourself in a place to make a difference. And tbh I think we will always have people who will demand to be given all the shots regardless of how carefully and fully you provide informed consent because their fear and belief systems will never change. She has a tech company called “Levels” that monitors blood glucose levels and blood work and along the way “harvests” your personal health data. It’s a fee based service you pay for and they keep your heath data.
I keep hearing that if Means or Kennedy came out blasting against the jab, they would never be confirmed. I pray that's the game plan. I fear that Trump sees the jab as his great legacy and and won't tolerate dissention. He does have an out, in my eyes. Maybe he's trying to get more public support ginned up against some of the republican softies. But with what? Her silence speaks volumes. Maybe she's protecting her company, which is (from what I can tell) a glorified CGM (continuous glucose monitor) system, and she ties nutrition and metabolic health to it.
SOMEONE needs to speak up against childhood vaccine schedules (with the covid vaxx being included before you leave the hospital).
Rushing out the COVID vaccines was what triggered many to wake up, so in that sense Trump can see it as a good thing, even though we know vaccines cause harm, even death and are of no benefit to health whatsoever.

I understand the need for them the be silent on directly attacking pharma & vaccines for now. We all have such high hopes for RFK to fix this, so patience is hard. The big test will be later in the year when RFK announces the results of his vaccine ‘testing for safety’ work. I can’t imagine the vaccines will come out looking good. He acknowledges in the book that NOW we know masks to be mostly ineffective, adding "my belief then, which was based on the best and only studies we had at the time, was that the right kind of mask, worn properly and in certain, specific situations for finite periods of time, could possibly be effective in preventing Covid." He also talks about the medicaid studies, the Floyd case... I get that Hana fancies himself (herself? no idea) some sort of super-sleuth, but that doesn't make his/her "findings" true. Sadly, lots of gullible folks will believe...
Two problems here: 1) Sage Hanna is not a trustworthy source. I used to subscribe to him until I figured out his game. And 2) Dr. Kory is as solid as they come. He’s an honest broker. I’m sorry you can’t see that.
I’m not a fan of hers. I’m always suspicious of people in the health space saying all the right things but also hawking their special product. And her lack of any focus on vaccines, especially covid vaccines, makes me think she’s not a great choice. But I do like very many of Trump’s picks, so I’m hoping I’m proven wrong and shes fantastic in the job. And yeah, definitely better than the other nominee.
The obvious assault on our healthcare beginning in earnest with HMOs being introduced in the 1980s has created millions of carpetbaggers. Natural healing has been infiltrated, for example, like nobody's business. I go to a naturopath. She is constantly sending me to be tested by allopathic labs. Um.... isn't the reason I go to her so that she can practice naturopathy on me? She wanted me to get a colonoscopy! Those things are actually dangerous.
This is sadly the state of things. I'm glad I have my natural healing books. I don't stray from them much.

I have suspicions about even Makary & Battacharia; both were “for” the jabs (@ least for the elderly) before they were “against” them. And NeshTWAT, good Lord I was shocked by that nom & glad she’s gone. The worry is, have we gone from bad to worse w/ Means. I don’t particularly like that both of the siblings - meteoric rises from nobodies- are now in very powerful positions in MAHA.
Definitely a plant, especially when you watch how these siblings dodge and/or redirect any mention of the death jabs.
Let's assume that being deathly silent about the plandemic and the death jabs is part of a larger long term political strategy. Jenna - thanks for those ground rules at the end of your post. I hadn't realized it had come to a point where you needed to put them in writing. I guess what I like about the chatter on the Casey Means nomination is that people are at least able to express their opinions openly. I'm concerned right now about the rescission bill not making it through and Blackrock getting projects and more power. All of these point to an ineffective business-as-usual environment. I do think some great things are happening for MAHA but without an entire political framework supporting it for the future - [heading shaking and expressive sigh]. So I don't know about Casey Means as surgeon general and how that might tie in to my general disappointment about what's playing out. I'm willing to give Casey Means a chance but am open to other nominees. I definitely want this vaccine situation remedied and medical freedom - all freedom really - to be tantamount. I keep a low profile on the mRNA problem though because so many people around me took those vaccines and that can't be undone - so we need to prevent it from being forced on anyone but I don't want to create fear for those who already did it about what might happen next for them. I am done pussy footing around the vaxxed. IMHO, they need to know how to heal if (in fact) they received a “bad” batch. Being silent church mice isn't helpful. Sending them info on how to heal is helpful. Some will be open and some, not so much.
You don't have to guilt or shame a vaxxed person to honestly help.
I started gently by letting a few know that I have done 4 years of writing and intensive research. Then I send articles, posts, papers, etc.
It’s our duty to at least try to help those that are in need.

Thanks for your perspective. I don't think anyone needs to be silent publicly about what they think of vaccines. What you do vis-a-vis friends and family is a personal choice about how you are in relationship with them. I'm happy to tell people who want and ask for information - I test the waters sometimes first and then respect their freedom to want more or say no.
I get better results sending articles, research stats, SS posts, etc. Getting in their face physically is too threatening. Sending information gives them the space to read or not!
It's a chess game, people. If she came out screaming about the vax, she'd NEVER get through the nomination process. She'd be dead in the water. If her book could be seen as yet another anti-vax book, her message is DOA ~ TO THE PEOPLE THAT NEED THAT MESSAGE. I really believe that Kennedy (and now Means) are being shrewd and calculating. Example: Kennedy saying 'we're going to look at everything to see what's causing autism'. He knows damn well what's causing it (vaccines), but he has to play coy and act like we still have to figure it out; otherwise, he's thrown on the ash pile of history and the story ends there. This is all calculation. And if Means only deals with ALL of the other stuff killing us, I'm here for that. I have way more control over NOT getting jabbed than I do about chem trails, seed oils in every food out there, EMFs, etc.
I read her book after I heard her interviewed by Megyn Kelly. I could barely get through half of it. It’s really nothing new actually. I am an RN and I can get on board with her saying she left her ENT residency after 5 years because she realized that the medical community has little interest in finding the core cause of disease. I think that’s largely true and was proven during Covid when the medical community refused to tell overweight people to lose weight as a means to avoid death from Covid. After realizing that her book was nothing new and that she had to be making a ton of money on all the products and monitoring devices she was selling I became a huge skeptic. She and her brother also talk very fast and say the same things over and over. I hope I am wrong but I am concerned.
I especially agree about the "nothing new" part. So I can't get on board with all the excitement about the Means siblings delivering some revolutionary message; anyone paying attention knew all the stuff they talk about ages ago. While I'm still wanting to be cautiously optimistic about Bobby playing the long game, these details feel quite troubling.
Plus she was a first time author of a non fiction “health book” that catapulted to the top of the NYT bestseller list. How does that happen? Even Naomi Wolf, who has authored over 40 nonfiction books, says that is next to impossible.
Love her, but any candidate clearly on the vaccines are poison side would never get confirmed. Interesting that Trump said he’s never met Casey & nominated her solely based on RFK’s recommendation. Reinforcing how much Trump depends on his advisor’s advice.
I agree with you that Dr. Bowden likely wouldn’t get confirmed and that Trump relies too much on his advisors, but I still think she would be awesome. I am not totally convinced on RFK either, but then again, as much as I like Trump, he will disappoint me too. None of them are my Savior.
Welp ... I had to toss my vote in with the "confused" bunch. When I first saw her on the Tucker Carlson interview, she seemed impressive - all about walking away (in the 11th hour) from the med/surgical field because she wanted to focus on preventing the causes of poor health rather than taking the fix-it surgeries and prescription drugs route.
What I've seen in the last two days is a lot of info about her - plus her brother's and father's -backgrounds - all a bit concerning (the dad's book is new to me, and sounds pretty bizarre). And yeah .. both Casey and Calley seemed to blast on the scene "outta nowhere".
Maybe her silence on Covid has been intentional, in order to get through the the confirmation process, then go into rock 'em-sock 'em mode? If RFK Jr is truly positive with this - and all her spiritual woo-woo aside - I guess I'm willing to give her a chance.
But then I start to think that, if the liberal side scoots her through the confirmation process with nary a whisper ... well, I just may bust into tears.
I too, was impressed with the TC interview, but I watched more interviews and also watched the Danny Jones Podcast on Spotify or Apple, interview with Calley Means, Dr. Mary T Bowden and Dr Jack Kruse. Calley Means makes my skin crawl, he is repugnant, just watch it with an open mind. Casey has good ideas but she is not a good candidate to lead. Vaccines are the real issue.
I’ll tell you why she wisely says nothing about the vaccine boondoggle. How can you tell parents they’ve poisoned their kids and killed their parents and shortened their own lives? Would it do any good to say retrospectively “ you shouldn’t have done that”? Wouldn’t it be more constructive to go forward into a future where we don’t have to worry about the government killing us with their largess, unsupported by any science at all? Telling people how stupid they’ve been won’t help anyone. Get to a solution, curb the government’s corruption and make scientists and drug companies behave in a responsible manner is much more helpful. Solutions not finger pointing and shaming. Sadly we can’t undo the jabs, just go forward more wisely and try to help people cure themselves.
I don't agree. What the covid jab-pushers did was unconscionable. If we simply "move on" then we are ensuring that, not only will it happen again (because it was so profitable to the .0001%) but it will be worse.

Putting Fauci in prison for life certainly could be a goal, but wouldn’t it be more constructive to set up a system in which the folks in charge of our health did NOT have patents on the vaccines and WERE NOT being subsidized by drug companies? The blatant pay to play system must be retooled and replaced with a system that separates the financial interests of public servants from the financial interests of drug companies whose very profits come from keeping us all just sick enough.
I was mainly talking about the info we can share with the people who took the jabs, as far as detox protocols. There’s no easy way to explain that they might feel fine now but could have shortened their lives drastically. Or explain why they keep getting sick, or are having extra issues.
But retooling the system also needs to be done too of course.

I am split and see the great arguments on both sides. Here’s some thoughts to confuse us more:
I couldn’t help but notice when Bret Baier interviewed RFKJr last night along with Makary, Oz, and Battacharya that there were at least two men there who were canceled for speaking out against the Covid vaccine. They KNOW the truth. These are the people she will be working and interacting with. She’s still young too. If she indeed cares as much about honesty and integrity as much as she claims she does, surely these men will have an enormous influence on her? That’s hopeful. She doesn’t have more power than them in her role, she is basically their mouthpiece.
And maybe like RFKJr, all this time she has never addressed Covid because she could not get into the right places to do anything good by doing so, and they are biding their time? The powerful control of pharma and the deep state is still too prevalent.
Of course all this depends on how deeply the establishment claws have already gotten into her, if at all. My head is still scratching that RFKJr has never addressed Covid either, so why are we persecuting her more than we have him? Why was he given trust and faith but she gets none? We aren’t applying our emotions about this issue equally.
And I’m fully aware she may be a decoy. Ugh. All we can do is pray that the right forces influence her.
I trust RFK Jr far more because he has written several books and given many speeches helping people like me understand the harms of the vaccines. Without him, I might still be blind to the damage the vaccines are doing. Casey Means is the opposite when it comes to integrity related to the harm of vaccines.
But that was basically RFKJr’s life’s work. Casey is young and her focus was never on vaccines. Why would she take up a mantel she has not been trained or tested in? It’s not her wheelhouse yet we are judging her on her integrity for that wheelhouse.
First, I agree that a young person has much more to lose by speaking out. But I disagree that vaccines was RFK Jr's life work. His training was law and his life work was protecting the environment from polluters. (Recall, that's how he earned Time magazine's Man of the Year award.) Yet, when he was given a stack of articles in the medical literature on vaccines, although he was still relatively young, he was compelled to speak out about that issue.
Similarly, vaccines wasn't Steve Kirsch's wheelhouse either, but (like RFK Jr) he learned and then spoke out as soon as he understood how serious the vaccine harms are. Ditto with Naomi Wolf, and myself and many others who had far less background in vaccines than Casey has. So, it doesn't need to be your wheelhouse to notice and understand that the harm is both serious and widespread. And the logical next step for those with integrity and a big heart is to speak out about it.
For Casey, she's either educated or uneducated on the (lack of) safety and efficacy of the Covid and other childhood vaccines. If she's uneducated on that issue, she's not qualitied to be Surgeon General, since it's currently one of the top issues in public health today.
For that reason, I believe she's aware of the harms that vaccines are causing and, unlike RFK Jr, she has consistently chosen not to speak up about that although she proudly speaks out against other harms of Big Medicine. That makes me not trust her ethics or her ability to discern what's most important to advocate for in the role of Surgeon General. And in my book "not my wheelhouse" is a way to dodge responsibility, which also leads me to question her trustworthiness.
I feel it's possible to support whatever she does to educate everyone on the importance of consuming whole foods that haven't been sprayed with pesticides while also staying clear that she's completely failing on the bigger issue of the vaccines given during gestation, on the first day of birth, and the first two years after birth.
I just now finished listening to Megyn Kelly with the Ruthless cast on this topic (yesterday’s episode) and I really like her take on Casey. It’s worth a listen to understand how any of us are willing to give her a chance.
I do believe you’re comparing apples and oranges when comparing all those wonderful people with Casey. She is far younger and has far less exposure and experience than they all had when they started to speak up. I believe if she is who many of us think she is that when we look back 5-10 years from now she will be seen as outspoken as they all are. If she’s not then we will know you are right. I feel it’s way too soon to judge her this harshly and I believe those who wish to harm the solidarity of MAHA as well as prevent the truth of the vaccines getting widely accepted are behind the infiltration of our party with serious doubts about her. I think it’s a planned campaign against her but rather than openly it was seeded from within.
I like Megyn Kelly, but in that podcast she's highly dismissive of "anti-vaxxers" ' concerns. I feel that dismissive attitude could be doing quite a bit of harm to the trust and cohesion in the MAHA movement, especially because it's coming from a spokesperson with personal connections to the leaders of the MAGA/MAHA movement.
Casey's "far less exposure and experience", and the need to wait to find out whether she will eventually advocate for very healthy alternatives to vaccines, are two more reasons that I feel she's not a great candidate for Surgeon General.
I have no problem with Casey's tunnel-vision on food if she is in a position that's appropriate for that tunnel vision. I've been a big fan of her work in educating people about the harms of our Big Ag and Big Food industry. I feel that's appropriate for someone working at the USDA or the FDA, but not for HHS. It's my judgment that her "wheelhouse" is not in advocating for the overall health of our children because so far she has demonstrated a very big blind spot with respect to the pharmaceuticals that are causing the most severe harms to our children's health - seizures, SIDS, the SV-40 and dna contamination in the Covid vaccines, and so forth.
I believe the 3M+ infants that will be born in the U.S. this year deserve for the Surgeon General to be concerned about the vaccine harms and to be able to offer and advocate for healthy alternatives *now*. If you were being born this year and you had young parents who trust the recommendations of their pediatrician, I believe you would agree that the Surgeon General and all other adults in this country who are aware of the harm should be speaking out on this issue.
Another relatively young professional who learned about the harms of vaccines and then made the choice to speak out - with full agreement and encouragement from his wife and partner in their law firm - was Aaron Siri. They understood that they would lose ALL of their large corporate clients which were referred to them by a major law firm in San Francisco - and that’s what happened. Yet they did right by the millions of infants and children who are being harmed, and (over the years since) they are having some of the greatest impact on generating the governmental as well as public MAHA support for change.
I will be happy when Casey decides to advocate for the children who are being harmed (when it inevitably becomes acceptable to do so) but I don’t have confidence in someone who plays it safe rather than speaking up. Maybe she’s the best choice of those who can pass Senate confirmation, but that’s an indication that the people who are not confirmable need to keep pressing for real change because the infants and toddlers (and older children and adults who are also harmed by vaccines) are only helped by the real leaders who are willing to prioritize this issue in spite of the personal cost.

Before, it was "I have to play by the rules to reach a position with the power to change the rules."

I feel your ‘devil’s advocate” position about Ms. Means is a bit misplaced. Where were she and her brother in 2020, 2021, 2022, & 2023? They were nowhere in the “Medical Freedom/Health Freedom Movement”. Yep, they are newbies to the medical freedom movement. and they are surely much younger than most of us. But I believe they’ll be up to snuff very quickly and become powerful advocates for medical freedom and also for Vaccine Safety, or better yet—vaccine obsolescence.
Despite my being an anti-VAXXER for 45 years or more, I find Casey’s message about ultra-processed food to be just as important—& maybe more important. After all, our ability to withstand toxic crap like vaccines, resta in a strong constitution that must be grounded in whole unprocessed foods.
Where are all the anti-VAXXERS talking about ultra-processed food? It’s a primary cause of our severe epigenetic damage. Why aren’t the medical freedom people talking about the dangers of ultra-processed food? I've done some digging. Both said in recent interviews something to the effect they didn't know enough about vaccines to discuss it when pressed. That's fine if you're lining up as a narrow subject expert. Surgeon General is not that.
She simply cannot avoid the existential medical issue of our time and be an effective S.G.
Here's my argument why that's true... Her focus is save the children from bad food and no exercise. Ok, great. That will keep them from chronic problems starting in a couple years to early death in 20+ yrs.
But the mRNA jabs are disabling and killing the same kids NOW. EVERY DAY.
With her one sided strategy, 7% of those kids will be disabled or dead before they are ever significantly harmed by bad food. It's just far slower.

My question is this : What exactly does a surgeon general actually DO? Doesn anyone remember a surgeon general ever being some huge voice in the crowd that everyone turned to for guidance on all things health? I actually feel like all of this hullabaloo about her, on both sides, is just distraction and her role really means nothing at the end of the day. My guess is that, we either don’t hear a lot from her regardless of her views (bc media will make sure we don’t) or there is a slight possibility of hope that she will get into the role and be emboldened to speak up finally on the matter and lend her voice to the others that are calling for the entire vax industry to be turned upside down. Likely it will be somewhere in the middle and it means very little because it isn’t a role that has any real bearing on the nation’s health or health choices.

The people supporting RFK did it BECAUSE he promised to take on big pharma and vaccines. That is the bigger voice we want to hear. If they can’t stand up to them, what is the point of them being there? Nothing will change and that is not acceptable.
RFK has a history and background on the whole vaccine issue. He is the one to deal with that head on. Casey's background has nothing to do with vaccines but a lot to do with nutrition and toxins in our foods. It is good to keep her narrative about what she does best. We can't dismiss anyone because they didn't agree and address EVERYTHING we want them to. RFK for vaccines/mRNA/Fauci and Casey for nutrition, food quality, and general health.

It is all through the interview. Jack is a real ass**** and in the end he does make a point, but it is quite awkward in the way he does it. Mary doesn't get enough time and she is more level headed. I don't think Calley was educated enough about vaccines to respond to many of Jacks claims and that illustrates exactly why vaccines should not be a part of the Means agenda.
Okay, I listened and yes, I was frustrated with Means' cautious replies, but see it differently than you. Pharma is, like the SAD (Standard American Diet), much like one of those ships at sea that take a ten mile radius and hours to turn around. Add to that, about half the ship's crew believe they should keep moving straight ahead and could mutiny against the crazies who suggest otherwise.

I’m not a fan of hers. I’m always suspicious of people in the health space saying all the right things but also hawking their special product. And her lack of any focus on vaccines, especially covid vaccines, makes me think she’s not a great choice. But I do like very many of Trump’s picks, so I’m hoping I’m proven wrong and shes fantastic in the job. And yeah, definitely better than the other nominee.
The obvious assault on our healthcare beginning in earnest with HMOs being introduced in the 1980s has created millions of carpetbaggers. Natural healing has been infiltrated, for example, like nobody's business. I go to a naturopath. She is constantly sending me to be tested by allopathic labs. Um.... isn't the reason I go to her so that she can practice naturopathy on me? She wanted me to get a colonoscopy! Those things are actually dangerous.
This is sadly the state of things. I'm glad I have my natural healing books. I don't stray from them much.

I have suspicions about even Makary & Battacharia; both were “for” the jabs (@ least for the elderly) before they were “against” them. And NeshTWAT, good Lord I was shocked by that nom & glad she’s gone. The worry is, have we gone from bad to worse w/ Means. I don’t particularly like that both of the siblings - meteoric rises from nobodies- are now in very powerful positions in MAHA.

Let's assume that being deathly silent about the plandemic and the death jabs is part of a larger long term political strategy. Wouldn't that mean that she was aware and involved in a script to go from zero to hero in a very short time span? Jenna - thanks for those ground rules at the end of your post. I hadn't realized it had come to a point where you needed to put them in writing. I guess what I like about the chatter on the Casey Means nomination is that people are at least able to express their opinions openly. I'm concerned right now about the rescission bill not making it through and Blackrock getting projects and more power. All of these point to an ineffective business-as-usual environment. I do think some great things are happening for MAHA but without an entire political framework supporting it for the future - [heading shaking and expressive sigh]. So I don't know about Casey Means as surgeon general and how that might tie in to my general disappointment about what's playing out. I'm willing to give Casey Means a chance but am open to other nominees. I definitely want this vaccine situation remedied and medical freedom - all freedom really - to be tantamount. I keep a low profile on the mRNA problem though because so many people around me took those vaccines and that can't be undone - so we need to prevent it from being forced on anyone but I don't want to create fear for those who already did it about what might happen next for them. I am done pussy footing around the vaxxed. IMHO, they need to know how to heal if (in fact) they received a “bad” batch. Being silent church mice isn't helpful. Sending them info on how to heal is helpful. Some will be open and some, not so much.
You don't have to guilt or shame a vaxxed person to honestly help.
I started gently by letting a few know that I have done 4 years of writing and intensive research. Then I send articles, posts, papers, etc.
It’s our duty to at least try to help those that are in need.

Thanks for your perspective. I don't think anyone needs to be silent publicly about what they think of vaccines. What you do vis-a-vis friends and family is a personal choice about how you are in relationship with them. I'm happy to tell people who want and ask for information - I test the waters sometimes first and then respect their freedom to want more or say no.

It's a chess game, people. If she came out screaming about the vax, she'd NEVER get through the nomination process. She'd be dead in the water. If her book could be seen as yet another anti-vax book, her message is DOA ~ TO THE PEOPLE THAT NEED THAT MESSAGE. I really believe that Kennedy (and now Means) are being shrewd and calculating. Example: Kennedy saying 'we're going to look at everything to see what's causing autism'. He knows damn well what's causing it (vaccines), but he has to play coy and act like we still have to figure it out; otherwise, he's thrown on the ash pile of history and the story ends there. This is all calculation. And if Means only deals with ALL of the other stuff killing us, I'm here for that. I have way more control over NOT getting jabbed than I do about chem trails, seed oils in every food out there, EMFs, etc.

I read her book after I heard her interviewed by Megyn Kelly. I could barely get through half of it. It’s really nothing new actually. I am an RN and I can get on board with her saying she left her ENT residency after 5 years because she realized that the medical community has little interest in finding the core cause of disease. I think that’s largely true and was proven during Covid when the medical community refused to tell overweight people to lose weight as a means to avoid death from Covid. After realizing that her book was nothing new and that she had to be making a ton of money on all the products and monitoring devices she was selling I became a huge skeptic. She and her brother also talk very fast and say the same things over and over. I hope I am wrong but I am concerned.
I especially agree about the "nothing new" part. So I can't get on board with all the excitement about the Means siblings delivering some revolutionary message; anyone paying attention knew all the stuff they talk about ages ago. While I'm still wanting to be cautiously optimistic about Bobby playing the long game, these details feel quite troubling.

Plus she was a first time author of a non fiction “health book” that catapulted to the top of the NYT bestseller list. How does that happen? Even Naomi Wolf, who has authored over 40 nonfiction books, says that is next to impossible.

I agree with you that Dr. Bowden likely wouldn’t get confirmed and that Trump relies too much on his advisors, but I still think she would be awesome. I am not totally convinced on RFK either, but then again, as much as I like Trump, he will disappoint me too. None of them are my Savior.
Welp ... I had to toss my vote in with the "confused" bunch. When I first saw her on the Tucker Carlson interview, she seemed impressive - all about walking away (in the 11th hour) from the med/surgical field because she wanted to focus on preventing the causes of poor health rather than taking the fix-it surgeries and prescription drugs route.
What I've seen in the last two days is a lot of info about her - plus her brother's and father's -backgrounds - all a bit concerning (the dad's book is new to me, and sounds pretty bizarre). And yeah .. both Casey and Calley seemed to blast on the scene "outta nowhere".
Maybe her silence on Covid has been intentional, in order to get through the the confirmation process, then go into rock 'em-sock 'em mode? If RFK Jr is truly positive with this - and all her spiritual woo-woo aside - I guess I'm willing to give her a chance.
But then I start to think that, if the liberal side scoots her through the confirmation process with nary a whisper ... well, I just may bust into tears.
I too, was impressed with the TC interview, but I watched more interviews and also watched the Danny Jones Podcast on Spotify or Apple, interview with Calley Means, Dr. Mary T Bowden and Dr Jack Kruse. Calley Means makes my skin crawl, he is repugnant, just watch it with an open mind. Casey has good ideas but she is not a good candidate to lead. Vaccines are the real issue.
I’ll tell you why she wisely says nothing about the vaccine boondoggle. How can you tell parents they’ve poisoned their kids and killed their parents and shortened their own lives? Would it do any good to say retrospectively “ you shouldn’t have done that”? Wouldn’t it be more constructive to go forward into a future where we don’t have to worry about the government killing us with their largess, unsupported by any science at all? Telling people how stupid they’ve been won’t help anyone. Get to a solution, curb the government’s corruption and make scientists and drug companies behave in a responsible manner is much more helpful. Solutions not finger pointing and shaming. Sadly we can’t undo the jabs, just go forward more wisely and try to help people cure themselves.
I don't agree. What the covid jab-pushers did was unconscionable. If we simply "move on" then we are ensuring that, not only will it happen again (because it was so profitable to the .0001%) but it will be worse.
If Fauci isn't put in prison for life, we can rest assured that Big Pharma will continue its onslaught.

Putting Fauci in prison for life certainly could be a goal, but wouldn’t it be more constructive to set up a system in which the folks in charge of our health did NOT have patents on the vaccines and WERE NOT being subsidized by drug companies? The blatant pay to play system must be retooled and replaced with a system that separates the financial interests of public servants from the financial interests of drug companies whose very profits come from keeping us all just sick enough.
I was mainly talking about the info we can share with the people who took the jabs, as far as detox protocols. There’s no easy way to explain that they might feel fine now but could have shortened their lives drastically. Or explain why they keep getting sick, or are having extra issues.
But retooling the system also needs to be done too of course.
Certainly sharing detox information would be great as long as we’re not forcing anything on them. I hope all that becomes common knowledge and people can access it easily.🙏🏼
