"Memes" is a synonym for "narratives." They clearly want to outlaw narratives that don't comport with the authorized narratives - that they get to determine. Actually, as we all know by now, they've already done this. They just want to be able to do more of this in the future.

The Law of Opposite Effects does suggest this program will backfire, which would mean those trying to increase censorship to increase their control ... will, one day, lose all their control and power. I just hope I'm still around to see that day - which might be next year or 100 years from now.

When did memes get long enough to become narratives?

Expand full comment

Narratives are the sum total of the memes - or the memes become "the narrative" once a certain cycle threshold has been met!

The cycle threshold that determines the official narrative is determined by counting stories published in the NY Times, Washington Post and L.A. Times.

Ok. I haven’t read it all. I just got to the part about the banning of hand holding on campus. And the busybody parent that insisted this be the remedy. And I thought omg this, THIS is the beginning of the tantrum prone children we are subject to seeing at every university. It begins thus. Every perceived annoyance to a child from then on will be dealt with in whatever way is crazy enough to make the “injured” party “feel better”. Because it’s all about your feelings, you know. The parents are indoctrinating their children to be narcissists and just the sort of people no normal person wants to be with.

If my kid had come home with a problem like this, my response would’ve been: ok. Deal with it. You are not the center of the universe. And it’s just too bad. They must learn to control their emotions. But the kid in the article didn’t even make it home to complain; she went full tattletale mode and actually was allowed to call her mother. It’s got to stop. Can’t treat children like this. They are much stronger than you think.

Expand full comment

PREACH!!! When my daughter got home we talked about kindness and did some "how would you have felt" exercises... but we agreed that going rogue snitch is NEVER the answer. (That particular mom was one of those all-up-in-her-kids'-business moms so it didn't surprise me, TBH. I was actually embarrassed for her. How about teach your kids some, oh I don't know, coping skills?)

Expand full comment

Exactly! Coping skills. I’m pretty sure Dr. j Peterson spoke of this as so necessary—the child may cry and stomp his feet but just let him learn to control his emotions. It’s how they learn. Picking up every problem and inserting yourself as a mom into your kids’ business is the worst thing you can do.

I would have been embarrassed for that mother too. Sounds like a real winner, that one. One that probably says: not my kid! To every issue raised with her.

I’m going to read the rest. It’s a really good article. Thank you!

My wife is a school teacher and used to be the cheerleading coach. The other day we were talking about this very topic. She made the point that the principal was on her ass before 4 p.m. whenever one of her decisions upset one of her students or cheerleaders.

The parents were activated. She resigned as cheerleading coach to avoid this and turns down every new request to get her to be some coach or group advisor. And she recently got out of the classroom by becoming the school system's "career coach." But she's still being micro-managed by the principals and getting flack from the Snowflake parents.

Needless to say, she's counting the days until she gets to 20 years and can retire with a decent pension.

I used to call it the “ my little dumpling syndrome.” When my kids were in elementary school, I was aghast at the number of parents (mostly Moms) who would confront teachers about the grades their kid had been given on a book report… plus I pretty much assumed part of their objections were based on their having co authored said book report…. How Not to Parent 101……🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

It must be exhausting for her. Especially as a coach. You have to be tough. How else will they win and be the best of the best?! All of my teachers/coaches (like ballet, music teacher (private) riding instructor) they were BRUTAL. I’m laughing about it now. My flute teacher used to have this little stick/whip thing. Every time I hit the wrong note or was off on timing—smack on my fingers. Guess what I did? I stopped hitting the wrong note. Omg they were brutal but I succeeded with these teachers. And my mom never once took my side. (I miss the 70s and 80s.)

Billy G needs to be vaxx'd in his fat ass with a turkey baster he is so constipated. I read Dr Meryl's article and that was my first thought. To think a eugenicist with so much free-time on his hands gets that kind of air-play and Dr Meryl extraordinaire doctor/researcher gets her license confiscated on bogus charges belies all sensibility. Nonetheless, I'm so glad I have a front row seat in all these smokescreens than most of the people I know who only have NPR and not Jenna.

They hired the best meme creators they could, there was an army of online trolls ready to demean anyone with honest questions... The one thing they didn't count on was backlash. The paid trolls armed with a tiny pamphlet of knowledge and insults were no match for well researched commenters and crushed in the arguement section, if that wasn't humiliating enough, the meme lords descended and totally annihilated pharma's crazy "goody two shoes-dont think for yourself-love authority" oriented memes... Unfortunately the meme war they started, they can't finish, as they've been so utterly ripped apart by the good guys... so in retribution they want memes banned. Yet again a crazy move that just digs their hole deeper.

Short story re: "I was not particularly popular at that school."

Nor was I, at any of the schools my son ever attended.

The fierce mum, standing watch, alone, for the natural born bullies who had it in for my sweet natured little boy who wouldn't harm a fly.

I recall backing one of the bullies up against a wire fence after he deliberately knocked my kiddo face down into the sand-box.

With his mother watching, I leaned into this fat kid and whispered into his ear: "You touch him again and that'll be the last time you ever you ever touch anyone with those fat filthy fingers."

I made sure to look him directly in the eyes and growled like a rabid dog.

His mum was terrified and did NOT challenge me...

I then invited ALL his class to my son's Pirate Birthday party... including the horrid little portly AND skinny bullies and their dutiful "followers" who had made my son's life a living HELL all year.

That party was a resounding success afterwich the bullying abated.

Those aggressive badly parented boys were askeered of my sweet son's fierce mum. 😉 As were the mum's who always defended their shitty offspring's violent playground & classroom behaviors...

Those boys? Never stood a chance. Nor did their "cupcake sale" perfectly coiffed mothers.

I didn't want to "be friends". I didn't NEED to "be friends" with any of those Karens.

I needed to be the best single parent to my only begotten child whose only mode of self-defense, when I wasn't there to protect him and his interests, was to become "the class clown" who cried on the inside.

He was punished for being "disruptive" and relegated to a solo cubicle during class time. Segregated from the "well-behaved" little shits and bullies.

It was a hard row to hoe but I howed my row relentlessly until I could hoe no more.

I fought the school authorities to keep him unlabeled (and unvaxxed) until the age of 24 when he secretly acquiesced to Turdeau's mandates in order to go to a pub with his cousin and see the new "Spiderman"...

He then snuck off for his 2nd "fully vaxxed" QR Code in order to be permitted to re-enter his gym, go to a concert, and board a plane in November of '21.

I was devastated when I found out. Heart broken. Afraid for him. (With good reason as it turns out. Knew it then. Begged him not to. Know it now. 100% unsafe. 100% ineffective...)

6 months later, thanks in no small part to "The Freedom Convoy" and protests by myself and other "far right misogynist racists who should not be tolerated", that little prick and Theresa Tam and Bonnie Henry et al "lifted" those mandates.

This publication has never been sued, by the way...

https://buffalochronicle.com/2019/10/19/trudeaus-west-grey-accusor-was-much-younger-than-first-thought/

In B.C.: the mandates did NOT get lifted for health care workers. They are still in place.

In 2023: my "fully vaccinated" son was hired by Interior Health.

I had QUIT my Interior Health job, after being UNEMPLOYED and not accepting CERB for a full year during "the pandemonium", after seeing Bonnie Fluevog Shoes Henry's internal writing on the wall in September of 2021.

Took my lumps.

In LA now and headed for Las Vegas at the end of the week. Both cities are shitholes of unbelievable proportions.

The nice Karens living in those 2 cities NEVER SEE what I see, not even from the safety of their SUV's. (They "take the freeway".)

I ride the city buses. I swear to god: 50% of the children and young adults are autistic or seriously mentally ill.

But that's another story, innit? Until then there's the Grand Central Mercado and chiles rellenos and the best female Mariaci ensemble in all the land.

Meanwhile: I'll finish washing and drying my laundry at the Roach Hotel.

I befriended Lupe, the Latino housekeeper who works here 7 days a week, cleaning the rooms of people on the free roll dole who pay for their Uber Eats deliveries with EBTs and pre-loaded credit cards paid for by California taxpayers.

Before going to her 2nd job @ 4pm.

"The Government Pays for their room and board"... (Lupe: YOU pay for these animals whose disgusting rooms you clean after their 3 week stay. "California Law.")

Bins & shopping carts full of NEW CLOTHING, tags still attached, sitting out back, torrential rains soaking them...

I just laundered a huge pile of that perfectly good clothing, will fill a suitcase and drag it all vis Public Transportation to 2 Christian and Seniors thrift stores in Harbor City and Long Beach on Tuesday.

Where it will be purchased by folks like me, who cannot afford to buy those articles of clothing "retail".

Or afford Uber Eats.

Then off to Las Vegas.

The tunnels and underpasses here, and there, are full of tents of drug addicted alcohol addicted mentally ill and autistic invisible humans.

Which the Kens Barbies and Karens of the Counties do not see.

I see them & film them surreptitiously.

Just like they don't see, or acknowledge, the jabbed dead and injured within their own families and the "seniors communities" they volunteer at...

I love your writings, all the time. However, I am concerned when someone as thoughtful and well researched as yourself uses the Gates quote about allegedly decreasing the population by 10-15% through vaccines. There are volumes of damning info on things Gates has said AND DONE! This one is not one of them IMHO. I researched it and I don't believe he said what is being suggested here. We must be diligent in our criticisms. Every misstep is used to discredit the much larger narrative that these folks, like Billy Boy are evil. Thanks and I will keep reading your great posts.

Expand full comment

Thanks for the comment, and I respectfully disagree. Genuine, sincere, gracious (I hope) question: how did you "research it?" Because I researched it, too. Oh, I know the "media" tripped all over itself to explain that he wasn't talking about DEPOPULATION THROUGH DEATH JABS; what Billy Boy was saying--again, according to people who didn't utter the actual words and in all likelihood never had a conversation with him about it--was that now people could stop having dozens of kids out of the fear that most of them wouldn't make it to adulthood, or some such BS. He DID say it. Who knows if meant it the way I'm implying he did and just had the backup story handy in the wings? Doesn't matter, because we'll never know. I know there's a bottomless well of miserable quotes to choose from ("the next pandemic, THAT will get their attention..."), but I'm sticking with mine. :)

Of course it was " Genuine, sincere, gracious... I hope too (-: Researching on the internet tubes is definitely a dicey venture. If I haven't learned by now the unreliability of the WWW, then I'm a fool. Hopefully not. I read what others said about the statement which of course is always in his defense. But....I did listened to the entirety of his speech where he made the statement in question and I do believe he was referring to women NOT having as many children with the expectation that some would die. This is an unfortunate fact and a tragedy in African nations sadly. Finally, I DO believe that Billy Boy is a eugenicist. His father was, and the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Have been doing my due diligence since PRIOR to the advent of the internet.

Thankfully "The Medical Mafia" by Ghislaine Lanctot landed in my hands in 1996, first edition, prior to the birth of my only begotten "sissy boy raised by a single mum".

That's what my ex said to me once. In his presence. He was 8 years old. I packed my shit I'd moved into "the house on the hill" 3 weeks prior. Rented a uhaul the following day. Drove down that hill...

Thankfully? I knew I'd made a big mistake and saved my son from any further mental and emotional abuse.

Because that's what mamma bears DO.
