We are in a spiritual war, dear Jenna.

Satan doesn’t want us laughing and lovingly engaging with one another in the comments!

Carry on, dear friend. 😘❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

KatWarrior's avatar

Wowza! You and me sister. We are on the same thread/band/ energy wave, Laura.

This is spiritual warfare and your observations are accurate, IMHO.

I was attacked a couple of times yesterday. First one was defending Jenna. Second one, I believe was from Wednesday’s comment section.

I was left feeling the presence of pure evil, so I tread with intention.

The dark one cannot have us laughing, connecting, enjoying healthy debate.

As for Kankles and Billy Bob Bubba, why bother!? They are the definition of evil, corrupt, fraudulent, pathological liars. Add a good dose of Cluster B and narcissism, and viola!

Jenna McCarthy's avatar

I’m so sorry that happened to you on my stack. 💔

KatWarrior's avatar

It’s fine. I handled it better than previous satanic hits 👊 😂😎❤️🔥

The one day I missed and so much was going on...

I had to look back at the comments from yesterday. Awesome response!

Evil clearly doesn't like humor. It is its Kryptonite.

Mary Ann Caton's avatar

The Clintons are the very definition of The Enemy, but today's deposition should be fun. Maybe Lauren Boebert will take another picture.

Jennifer L.'s avatar

Mary Ann, and hopefully Boebert will tweet afterwards (once the shtf over it) something along the lines of “and no cigars were involved in the questioning.”😂

Mary Ann Caton's avatar

OMG!!!! 🤠🏅🎯💯

(If I were Boebert, I'd show up today in a blue dress, just for giggles.)

Susanne's avatar

All who understand the Clintons understand the crime family has many connections, contractors who kill and make no mistake, Bill and his boss will go down in history as the definition of evil. Boebert ought to wear cameras on all sides and take notes from MTG. She could wear stars and stripes too!

Medical Truth Podcast's avatar

Boebert didn't Kill Herself!! Killary is Gangstaaa!! Killary is mafia in a pants suit!

Lori's avatar

I know I would!

KatWarrior's avatar

💯❤️🔥🙏😂😎

Lori's avatar

With you Kat. Let the other side be vicious and miserable. We will show our happiness and gratefulness every single day.

I have a suspicion that we will see Hillary go down which is long long overdue. She is one of the worst people to walk the earth.

KatWarrior's avatar

Yes. ma’am. This morning was a prime example of happiness, joy and gratefulness. The sun is shining, it’s 76 degrees, the tide was low, the pups had a blast running around chasing balls, and I have a dear (new!) friend to walk with in the mornings. My garden is teaming with worms and I am almost done with my Spring planting!

As for Kankles; you are correct on all counts. Can you imagine how horrible Hillary’s life must be! Yuck! UGH!

Lori's avatar

Love the pups and the worms and the plants! Enjoy!

Marilyn F's avatar

I block all of these people. It feels great. Try it!

I missed that comment yesterday. So I popped in today to find it. Didn’t have to search long…thanks for pinning it, Jenna! Looks like dual identity Carlos is a REAL piece of……….work. Word to the wise: DONT’T FEED TO TROLLS. They’ll eventually skulk away with their demon tails between their lizzardy legs…

Jpeach's avatar

Is Hillary’s father Sargent Schultz from Hogan’s Heroes?

Mary Ann Caton's avatar

If so, she out did him.

Betsy Frost's avatar

There is a bit of resemblance.

Jpeach's avatar

Use AI to put a German WW2 helmet and mustache on Hillary and we will have the proof.

Peggy's avatar

now that made me laugh out loud!

Beth's avatar

That’s funny!

Peggy's avatar

I admit. I clicked the link with those words just hoping to see a clip of him saying that :)

John Wright's avatar

"Hillary Clinton Knows Nothing" - clearly she should have been elected president! 🤦‍♂️

Juju's avatar

What she is doing when she whines that she wanted this public is counting on the public’s ignorance. If this had been a public hearing, every congressmen’s questions would have been limited to a filibustering 5 minutes that she could have wasted and deflected with Oscar worthy soundbites, spinning the facts and setting a preferred narrative, and no one would have gotten to the bottom of anything. She wanted THAT. So she grandstands as if everyone else has something to hide, when really they don’t want the limitations of grandstanding in the public hearing template

John Wright's avatar

Who needs Netflix when we have our government to entertain us!

ELKFLA's avatar

I told my husband before it even started that here is how this is going to go down:

Hillary will remember nothing. Bubba is white haired and getting a bit long in the tooth, so I expect to see a combination of Biden's "elderly man with a poor memory" and indignant "get off my lawn" behavior. The left will then accuse anyone who tries to pin him down as behaving abusively and disrespectfully to an "beloved elder statesman". 🙄

Juju's avatar

That’s exactly how I imagined today going with Bill!

Jay Arra's avatar

I am shocked...shocked I tell you that Hillary Clinton perjured herself again!

Occam's avatar

Right?

Next thing we'll hear is that every other significant entity in the western world has been captured and corrupted by monied interests.

Crazy.

Stone Bryson's avatar

What I find baffling is that, in your poll, there are people out there who think Boebert and Johnson behaved worse the HRC. While I am a fan of neither (though Lauren DOES have her moments), the notion that a media personality sharing a leaked photo is somehow worse than the (alleged) lies of a former StateSec and almost-President? I cannot wrap my lobes around that kind of thinking.

I oft wonder if we really DO live in an alternate reality 🤦🏻 Anyhow, loved your thoughts as always... 🫡

Juju's avatar

Not alternate reality, but two-tiered justice. We are the enemy and the perps when we question them.

Mindy's avatar

I chose Boebert as the worst behavior because we all know what to expect from HRC (the bar is on the floor), but Boebert has the responsibility to conduct herself properly. It's not like what she snuck out of that hearing was of dire importance; something the public had to know ASAP that would otherwise be covered up. It was a stupid, disgraceful move worthy of AOC.

Lori's avatar

LOL. The Clintons are dirty and vile. Talk about disgraceful, perhaps you should concentrate your words on them.

Mindy's avatar

I'm not saying HRC is a good person, but the question wasn't about judging her criminal history. The poll was about her behavior yesterday. Boebert's behavior which jeopardized the hearing was worse than HRC's (probable) lies. This was a chance to catch HRC perjuring herself since she was testifying under oath, which, of all her crimes, is the easiest to prosecute. Boebert's selfish, stupid actions could blow that.

Lori's avatar

Nope. Not many things are worse then the huge resume of Hillary's lies, deception and her part with Epstein which she is lying about. Boebert's photo was nothing compared to that. Perjury is perjury and no photo will compromise that.

Mindy's avatar

If Clinton was brought up on charges of perjury relating to this hearing, the case could be dismissed (or it could give grounds to appeal if she were convicted) due to the rules of the hearing not being followed by the members of Congress.

Lori's avatar

And so you schedule another hearing.

Justin's avatar

Lauren doesn't have the best track record for responsible behavior, having been caught in a feel-out session with a boyfriend in a movie theater and one other event that escapes my memory.

Mindy's avatar

I'd forgotten about that! This whole mess is a good reminder that one person's bad behavior doesn't excuse another's, regardless of their party affiliation. It is frustrating seeing so many conservatives acting exactly like the liberals they made fun of for acting this very way a couple years ago. Is honest self-reflection dead?

Lori's avatar

Nothing close to the despicable dems. Next.

Justin's avatar

Agreed, but I don't want a race to the bottom.

Lori's avatar

Couldn't come close.

INGRID C DURDEN's avatar

Nobody knows anything. This means, that they all have severe dementia, or another sickness that destroys your memory, or are so heavy on drugs they don't remember a thing. This means, they should not be running around in public. I suggest, to put them in a home, and confiscate their wealth to fill the holes they made, and give some to the victims of their not-knowing.

John Wright's avatar

Uh oh! Report this immediately to the thought police! 😇

smallvictories's avatar

I think the most hilarious aspect of the trolling is how off-base they tend to be in their assumptions and accusations, and also, how *incredibly* irritable their entire existence must be. Like walking around with a loaded diaper. 🥴 I'll say it every time: don't let them steal your peace.

JudyC's avatar

Surprise, surprise, Killary “knows nothing”. No wonder she’s resisted testifying over and over, repeatedly! Besides, “What difference, at this point, does it make?” Oh, she knew full well….

Lori's avatar

Killary is appropriate. She has killed many.

Skenny's avatar

Your "troll disclaimer" was the hardest hitting element of this piece. The "funnest" part was making fun of a couple who desperately deserve it.

Roberta Stack's avatar

Hillary is so slick and smooth. She knows just how to speak to any accusations of wrongdoing. She been doing it for so long with her creepy husband. Never met him? But why no photos of her with him? And why was Maxwell at Chelsea’s wedding? Someone’s +1? And why a closed door? Congress people like to think they are so important that they love the secrecy and intrigue. Ugh!

Juju's avatar

Actually there is a reason for closed door. They are not constrained to only 5 minutes each that way. It’s less of a captured circus during questioning.

Charlotte Cunningham's avatar

“…like it was a contraband bag of Skittles at a sixth-grade picnic” 😂😂😂

KatWarrior's avatar

Jenna, I am sorry for having to address the miscreants yesterday. I did so with intention and then left the “stage,” so to speak.

I love this place that you have lovingly created for all of us to be ourselves. I don't regret defending you and letting that person know that the Bluesky audience awaits their arrival.

I’ve just packed all this Epstein stuff in a nice lead lined matchbox. Stuffed way back in my garage. Let me know if anything comes of it. I do smile at Billy Gates-O-Hell’s current problems.

Speaking of trolling...

I posted a thing on Facebag about the Dems all sitting when Trump asked them to stand up for the citizens of this country. I started getting a lot of pushback immediately from my liberal "friends" - many of whom I haven't seen in years. One of my more engaging readers asked me why I hate Democrats and whether I hated him.

I replied that I don't hate people for their political beliefs, but I found a lot to hate about the Democrat party. He asked me to list some of those things. I began, but then realized I needed to jet. One of the things I listed was "trans-ing kids", a subject I've been silent about until now. I realized I was being baited and took the bait - I'm just tired of pussy-footing around these people. It was a mistake.

When the daughter of an ex-girlfriend (whom I haven't heard from in 26 years) asked me what I meant by that, I shut down the entire thread - just deleted it. This daughter began identifying as "queer" 10-15 years ago, and now sports facial hair - it's lucky her given name is Morgan, because she didn't have to change it when she began to identify as a dude.

I was NOT going to enter into a public debate with a trans person for whom I once cared deeply (less so the mother, as it turned out) over gender theory. As much as I'd like to expand upon my belief that it's wrong to sexualize children by exposing them to quasi-pornographic "educational" materials and tranny storytelling, and wrong for teachers to indulge, even encourage kids who seem confused or want to identify with a different name/gender without notifying their parents about what's going on, I still share a town with these people. I don't want my house burned down.

Morgan isn't the only trans person I know. One theater family raised a boy that's now a girl, and a girl that identified for years as a boy, but lately seems to have dialed that back to some degree. That's good, because she's a very cute girl, much cuter than her brother/sister, who makes a hideous woman. These parents are so damn proud. When I think of that family, all I can think is "what the hell did you DO to these kids?" The dad cheated on the mom when the daughter was young, impregnated an actress who ended up having his kid and actually stayed married to her cuckholded husband (he's a better man than I), and they raised the other man's kid as their own. The cheater's marriage ended - it's easy to see why his kids might have some issues.

Another family I know through theater had a daughter who decided to be a dude in her late teen years - this was before this was all the rage. Another family I was friends with (not in theater) has a son who in his 20's has now decided to be identified as a woman. His parents divorced when he was young, too. I hear his sister struggles with drugs now.

I realize how little this has to do with Jenna's column - sorry, friends. It's just something that has occupied my consciousness since yesterday.

The woke has a taboo about "cultural appropriation" - I wonder why they're so tolerant about "gender appropriation"?

Jenna McCarthy's avatar

It's ASTONISHING that you know so many trans people. Even having lived the majority of my life in NY and CA, I only know a handful (although sadly, one is my GODDAUGHTER--am I supposed to say godson now?--who had top surgery and everything and now goes by they). Interestingly, a majority were involved in theater. Sure does make you wonder about suggestibility and contagion.

Doug's avatar

Theater people love to cosplay - it's what they do. Actors are exhibitionists with inferiority complexes. Many are gay, so anybody working in theater is quite literally gay-adjacent.

This town is a bedroom community to San Francisco, and our county is the home of the Bohemian Grove. It's one of the bluest cities in a deep-blue state. Our schools sport rainbow flags. Our downtown library supported drag-queen story hour. Damaged citizens drive around in electric cars with Kamala bumper stickers, windows rolled up and wearing masks.

It gets to me sometimes. It bothers me that all of these idiots reside in one of the most beautiful places in the country, along with Newsom's homeless sleeping under the freeway and on sidewalks near my home. Everyplace I think about moving to is either much hotter or much colder than here. And then I think, "I'm a Cali-born native! Why should I have to move? All you assholes that came here from somewhere else - YOU get out!"

<sigh>...

Jenna McCarthy's avatar

My goddaughter lives in the Bay area, too. Go figure! California really is the most beautiful state with the most perfect weather. We had weekends where we'd be at the beach on Saturday and drive up to the mountains to ski on Sunday. I miss that part (and ONLY that part) of Cali...

Doug's avatar

Yeah... I was born in SoCal, but moved north in '87, and even with all the granola (fruits, nuts and flakes), it's still my comfy place. I wish we could carve out a "red sector", tho.

Jenna McCarthy's avatar

Northern Cal is beautiful but I will say, my oldest daughter lives in San Diego and it is surprisingly conservative!

Doug's avatar

That's what I've heard. We used to say "beyond the Orange Curtain", referring to Orange County as a much more conservative place than LA county.

My grandparents lived in Escondito when I was young - we got to visit the Zoo and the Wild Animal Park. My sister lived in San Diego for a couple of years in her 20's. One time when I visited her, we went to Mexico on a day trip and hung out in the sand playing a cheap guitar, drinking Coronas and eating fish tacos. Fun times!
