Thanks Jenna …🥰…Every morning, I send my kids a daily message from KLove , they either thumbs up me or put a heart , but I know they are fine and/or it’s ok to call . Here’s today’s message because people have lost their way . There is so much hate and vitriol. July 10, 2026

Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.

1 Corinthians 13:13 NLT

Love it! Every morning, my husband and I and two out-of-state daughters share our Wordle results in a group thread for basically the same reason.

Laura Kasner's avatar

So lovely Bro. 🥰

And amen!

This is just further proof that the current system is setup to collapse our society. It's obvious that certain types of behaviors are rewarded while others are punished, which by design, is socially programming people to behave in one way or another.

Say some vile actually hate-filled crap online and get fired and paid out.

Refuse mandatory clot shots, speak out about medical freedom, and how dangerous mandated medical interventions are, get fired, get sued, have your life ruined.

Actions are louder than words and the actions of the system couldn't be any more clear.

Great post Jenna. The most terrifying part? Definitely the "health educator". As the old saying goes, with professors like this...

KC & the Sunshine's avatar

I was searching for signs of health — any health, in that pic. I came up empty. Emotional health? Nope. Physical health. Also nope. Mental health? Exponential nope…

Michelle D's avatar

It was the light- that was the health.

KC & the Sunshine's avatar

😝😝😝 Yes!!! Except, she’d (he’d?) have looked healthier had the light been gone. Or I’d have felt healthier, had the light been gone. Or…something…

Pastor Mike's avatar

Good morning. I know you've missed me. I've been at vacation Bible school all week 🤣

Marlene Swann's avatar

Me too! Sad to see this is a diminishing tradition, year by year less attendance, less participation. (I’ve gone full circle from an attendee many years ago to staff member) ☺️

Rosemary B's avatar

on VACATION!!!????

Honestly, I imagine you had a super blast with all of those kiddos.

This used to be my favorite part of summer... except the HOT part

Pastor Mike's avatar

Yes, it's a lot and hot, but we do it every year at this time because of the 4th. We participate in the town 4th parade and sign up kids from the town, and start VBS the first Monday after the 4th and parade.

Rosemary B's avatar

wonderful!

We still have a very active VBS in all of the churches in my area.

I should volunteer again.

KC & the Sunshine's avatar

Have you seen the meme abt VBS? It’s Lincoln at the whining of his presidency and another pic of him at the end of his presidency (not THAT pic!). He looks like he aged 30 years. The caption says something like, “I oversaw VBS this summer”! I LOLed for sure. Been there. It takes a toll.

I know I’m not the sharpest crayon in the tool shed but I don’t think they should have been fired in the first place. Make them take down their asinine post/comment/whatever and move on with a warning not to do that again or yes, they will get fired. Even sign something that says they understand and won’t sue. So when they do it again, there are receipts. “See? We wrote it down for you and you signed this thing and you broke the rules again so bye.”

Maybe that whole process was already baked in the cake in some sort of “code of conduct” contract. I don’t know how all that works. 🤷‍♀️

Either way, it’s a bunch of idiots playing with money that’s not theirs and THAT pisses me off.

Sorry for the rage quitter. You are the best thing on Substack (don’t tell Jeff Childers 😜). There are days when I read only yours.

Keep up the good work. You challenge me and make me laugh every day and I love you for it.

Bad ass. 😘🤬🍑❤️

The Great Santini's avatar

I don’t know. Jeff Childers is a must read for me. So, let’s call it a tie.

Sorry MinnesotaBarb. Lived most my life there and hurts to see what it has become. On the bright side, the hated cheeseheads are not so far away. Come on over! Local bar/eatery sells a t-shirt that says "Another way to enjoy Minnesota, move to Wisconsin ".

Parents are educators. Aunts, uncles, and grandparents are educators. The entire suite of academic accredited schools are so corrupt they need to be boycotted. If a person wants critical thinking and real problem-solving skills, they need to apprentice. Public screwls and higher edumakation are communist indoctrination centers, also known as satanic indoctrination centers.

Russell Schierling's avatar

My wife and I homeschooled four kids all the way through, and now have four successful adult children and three grandies, who will likely not go through public school either. The number of people who complain to me in my clinic that their child went away to college and came back essentially a communist --- off the charts!

Tracy Sanders's avatar

And they likely funded it. It's a complete misnomer that you need these great grand degrees to be hired someplace. I have accredited degrees and a large number of certifications. No one has ever hired me because of those. It was always what I could do. Those other things were purely a check the box exercise in providing the detractors a can of shut up.

I think people should not be going to college until they are 26 or later, if ever. And certainly never at this brain sucking satan worshipping hell holes. They need to work. Get grounded. There is such an abundance of free non-commie education available now.

Warrior Mom's avatar

silver lining to the fact that my youngest dropped out of high school during the convid and never really was planning on college anyway. if you would have asked me 7 or 8 yrs ago, how I felt about that, I would have been horrified! now... not so much. I do wish he would at least get the GED and some kind of trade school/training since he is smart and talented, but working a night shift in a warehouse for a temp agency. but he'll find his way!

KatWarrior's avatar

💯🔥💥

Ditto on the degrees and certifications. I have way too many as well and was never hired because of them. Why? Two reasons. First, they are essentially worthless pieces of paper that do not indicate what I can actually do!

Second, at age 30 I quit my high paying job because I knew I could never sustain long term employment working for anyone!

Every skill I have learned in the last 7 years has been acquired through online platforms (both free and paid) and reading books! Go figure!

Mike Lee's avatar

So true 👍

There was a time when a degree did mean the holder had learned and benefited from the process of earning it.

Then came the era when degree(s) only meant an employment application was stamped "literate".

Now it's the time when it can't even convey literacy!

Russell Schierling's avatar

Yes there is, Tracy.

The most disturbing part of this story is equating (sort of) the reactions to Charlie Kirk’s definite assassination with Paul Pelosi’s “hey why is that guy in his underwear while you hold his arm and casually open the door and why doesn’t it look like he broke in and where’s the evidence of a struggle” hammer attack. That was just weird, creepy, and somehow not really that surprising.

Jennifer L.'s avatar

Meddling Kid, you make a good point. Paul Pelosi’s likely Grinder date gone bad is nowhere near a comparison to Charlie Kirk’s assassination. Nancy Pelosi knew she had to make her husband a victim for the purposes of damage control, especially after the pictures went viral.

This behaviour of saying things your employer didn't like (and getting fired) goes back decades if not centuries. In my case about 25 years ago, there was no GoFundMe. And the comment I made was to a job applicant who told the owner of the company. Basically, I said I loved working at the company. I didn't understand some of the decisions the owner made so, there are a few things I would change. But overall, it was a great place to work.

Results: YOU'RE FIRED! Here's $10,000 to NOT SUE. Go Away!

Me: Unemployment for four months. Shaken confidence. Future Job applications always asked: Why were you fired?

I later found out that the owner of the company was trying to terminate me anyway because she wanted to replace me with a person making $20,000 LESS. Right after I left the building, that person took over my accounts. It was a small company so not worth suing financially or time wise.

🤬🤬🤬

Double Mc's avatar

Ah, the old find-any-excuse-so-we-can-replace model. The hospital where my mother worked as a nurse for decades did the same to her. It turned out to be the best thing for my mom, as she landed a job she loved after that.

Jennifer L.'s avatar

David Baldwin, I encountered a similar situation where the medical employer was in financial hot water and needed to “lessen the load.” In my case they found 3 minor infractions and claimed it was justification to fire me “with cause” despite several positive reviews/evaluations. Definitely not an experience I recall fondly but in the big picture one I did learn from.

I assume the University or Public School System had to pay the settlements. If so, our tax dollars are effectively funding the settlements. This is just more disgraceful way the Left steals from hardworking American Citizens. They won’t stop until they are legally forced or they collapsed the American Middle Class.

FLGenX's avatar

I thought it came from their endowment funds earned through alumni donations. Sigh 😞

Jennifer L.'s avatar

FLGenX, I think more likely it comes through whatever insurance provider the school district is covered by.

GAB (God Awful Behavior). Get used to it. We are living in the darkest of ages, and it's barely begun. Kaliyug, one of the four yugas as described in the Vedas.

Bright side: any amount of devotion towards God is rewarded manifold that which comes from the same devotion in the other 3 yugas. Get your priorities on, my friends.

Anna Lafferty's avatar

I agree the Kal's effects can be seen at every turn, and, for me, it is important to focus on Divine Love as we are being tested. Not easy, but my goal is spiritual freedom and service to Life. I keep learning more about it every day.

The Great Santini's avatar

The first problem is allowing the government to tell us who we can hire and fire. Started, as all bad things, with righteous intention over racial civil rights. Now it has metastasized into the G can restrict hiring, firing, requiring you in your job to engage in morally suspect activities, etc. (e.g., the cake baker in Colorado)

In that environment you have to use more underhanded tactics. Use administrative measures. You still have a job, just no bonus, no inflation adjustment, your office is moved to the basement, you have no student contact, you’re required to got to sensitivity training, you are given unpleasant work assignments, your evaluations are not good, but not contestable, etc., etc. Trouble is that this takes a long time. So firing the idiots, even if you later have to pay them is good hygiene for the organization.

Mike Myhre's avatar

I think what we are seeing is a jury pool that consists of an equal number of idiots that we see in society. There is a good chance that multiple people on that jury also spewed sick comments after the assassination.

I blame the news propaganda that distorted reality and poisoned peoples minds. The power of that extends to many problems in todays society.

As a former employer (70 employees), I would want to have a serious discussion with said employee. Explain the consequences of their behavior in relation to my business. If they valued their employment, to please consider curbing any behavior detrimental to my business and/or their employment.

Jenna McCarthy's avatar

I am Self-Employed and employ no one, but when I think of all of the actual friends and colleagues who said horrific things to me when I was speaking out about Covid, I can tell you this: if they were in my employe they would have been fired on the spot. Sue me. 😂🤷‍♀️

Richard schoenenberger's avatar

Thankfully, I was retired by then.

Richard schoenenberger's avatar

Those were hard times 👍

Rose's avatar

All of the above. 🤬

FLGenX's avatar

Am I the only dummy that thought the business or person being sued had to pay? How in the world is this coming out of taxes??

Debby's avatar

K-12 teachers are paid by local taxes, so if a teacher sues, it's also paid by local taxes. A state college receives a lot of state and federal taxes, so those will be used to pay for the law suit.

reality speaks's avatar

Isn’t it strange that the only ones getting rewarded are leftists who suck off of the taxpayers.
