I just wrote one I think is funny, but funny is left up to the reader to determine. "Why did that chicken cross the road?" Personally, I've never seen one chicken actually cross any road so I wonder if this might be an urban legend or another one of those "false narratives" (like Saddam had weapons of mass destruction).

I just submitted my "Flavors of Covid" essay for my official entry. My latest piece is the extremely rare article that has NOTHING to do with Covid. That one probably freaked out my readers.
I've seen chickens, Canada geese, and peacocks cross the road. They simply go to the other side. And yesterday, I saw Canada geese attempting to walk across a frozen pond. They looked sooooo silly walking like little old people trying not to slip and slide. Finally, they smartened up and just flew over the pond.
