Of course, you must get well soon 🤕🩹💞!

Sending all good wishes that you don't end up with fishes 🦈🐠🐟 and lose your comedic ambishes.

On a serious note 🎵, do you use the povidone iodine nasal flush/gargle? So far, so good for us when that dread tickle occurs: Dilute Povidone-Iodine Nasal/Oral Washes for the Prevention and Treatment of COVID-19. You're welcome! P.S. I add a pinch of baking soda/salt mix (the same stuff I use to brush my teeth) to the diluted iodine mix -- keeps the stuff from burning my delicate little nares.

It works extremely well (povidone iodine) I may very well have been a false positive, but I was the only one in my family that went for it when I tested positive, and nasal irrigated and gargled the iodine.. either it worked well or I had a false positive, as I had no fever, no headaches nothing, no muscle pains etc, not even a cough.. felt quite fine and normal... Every four hours did the routine... Which seemed timely as the eye water and itchy nose feeling started up about every four hours (and yet again if I was a false positive, this could have been hayfever as it was in the middle of hayfever season for me)...

I took all the supplements too...

Black cumin seed oil (or mushed up seeds some use - Nigella Sativa )... had worked well on colds in the past for me, and I took a spoonful of that each night too... The oil burns the throat on the way down, so might have done the trick with covid too... If I ever had it... Other colds I felt more than covid, and the seed oil seemed to work for those too .

I did just buy a bunch of homeopathic remedies (at the suggestion of a reader) and my nebulizer is on its way. I'm getting lots of confusing/conflicting info on the web about what to put in it (of course I don't have "food grade" hydrogen peroxide; didn't even realize that was a thing). Can I do it with just distilled water and a drop of iodine? Or is that a "why bother?" Appreciate any guidance here...

I used a neti pot Jenna, seemed to kick butt ... I didn't (but I'd suggest you do) water down the povidone iodine that you put up your nose... I bought the Betadine throat gargle, pre mixed for throat (irony is the gargle makes your throat sore for a bit)... I neti pot squirted same concentration up my nose... Ouch... But kept at it... Others said I maybe should have watered that down further (but covid hysteria was everywhere so I thought the burn was a sign of working... Don't worry I still have my full smell range)...

Subsequently Ive taken to watering it down, for other colds, and it's been almost pleasurable by comparison (throat gargle 1/3 with distilled water 2/3)... I still gargle with the throat gargle out bottle... Note this is the throat gargle premix from the box... If you buy the concentrated Betadine (povidone iodine) you need to mix it up yourself for throat gargle (and dilute even further for nose)

Hope it goes well 🤞 ... Get better soon 😊

Oh wow! That’s a lot! I watched a mercola video that said one DROP of the iodine to a quarter cup of distilled water… But like I said, there are lots of confusing messages out there! Appreciate the advice.

Expand full comment

I think Mercola is most likely to be right here 😊... I've used a neti pot before with hydrogen peroxide, and just added a splash... Seemed to be fine... But yes, for a nebuliser in particular (which I don't use) I'd say a drop is probably spot on, as it becomes gaseous in a nebuliser... Definitely follow Mercola on both counts I'd say 😉... But I'll say neti pot worked great for me, as much as I don't like irrigating my nose, it certainly gets rid of a cold.

Jenna, along with Ivermectin and all the other FLCCC protocol, I was lazy and purchased the CoFixRX Nasal Cleanse (it has the iodine and other things in it) that you spray up your nose, ordered directly from their website. They also have a throat gargle too. A year ago or so I ordered a gallon of povidone iodine and followed the directions to make my own. It was messy and gross. So now I have a slightly less gallon of Povidone Iodine that sits in my basement.🙄

I also sprayed coloidal silver up my nose with the iodine, to try and prevent it going down to the chest. Whilst I had the dry cough, I didn't get the chest infection like the rest of my family and friends, who had to get antibiotics in the end (they were all jabbed!)

I have colloidal silver spray and have been doing it sublingually… I also just ordered a nebulizer off Amazon. Don’t exactly know what to do with it but I suppose I will figure it out! Thanks for the tips!

We have used nebulizer treatments for many years in our family (son and husband with asthma). I personally just use sterile wound saline in it (buy in the can, squirt into the nebulizer unit thingy) when I could no longer find Bronchosaline at my local store.

My kids hate it when they get sick because I have a million things I have them do. I'm like the grandfather in "my big fat Greek wedding" with the windex.

But when I get sick, it's like crickets. My brain turns to mush. I literally forget all of the things. And no one around me knows the things like I do. Wouldn't be a bad idea to write out a list.... When getting sick, X clear or iodine nasal spray, ivermectin, hourly vitamin c, nebulizing with hydrogen peroxide and saline, vitamin a, vitamin d, iodine, etc.

"If we can’t have fun with the crushing insanity of the world, what even is the point?"

I wholeheartedly agree. I've been waiting impatiently for the arrival of the Delta Tau Chi scariant which will undoubtedly cause spontaneous food fights to erupt, and cause us to crush beer cans on our foreheads. Why do scamdemics have to be all doom and gloom? Why can't they be more fun?

Because unfortunately scamdemics cause real pain and death, mostly from fear and ignorance. But where I live, when there's a threat of snow, I'm forced to go out as if we're going to be snowed in for months because most everyone else will take more than they need.

The nebulizer business is confusing because it seems like every doctor who recommends nebulizing for COVID (or other respiratory viruses) gives different instructions. I had to patch together info and instructions from several different sources including my family's doctor. Here's what I distilled and ultimately did:

You need the kind of nebulizer that sits on the table and plugs into an outlet. (The handheld, battery-operated kind isn't good enough.) Where I lived, the pharmacy wouldn't sell a nebulizer without a prescription, so my family's doc prescribed a good nebulizer (we got the Omron Comp A-I-R Compressor Nebulizer NE-C801). The doc ordered a mask kit for each family member. (Don't use a mouthpiece or a nosepiece; you need a mask.) The doc also ordered a box of sterile saline in little 3 mL pods; the label says "Sodium Chloride Inhalation Solution, USP 0.9% for Respiratory Therapy, Rx Only, Sterile, One 3mL Unit-Dose Vial." The pods are individually wrapped. I bought a small bottle of 3% food grade hydrogen peroxide at a local health food store (don't use very old peroxide. because over time, peroxide reverts back to plain water). We got a 1 mL oral syringe from the pharmacy to measure the peroxide.

One saline pod, plus peroxide, works well for a 10-15 minute treatment. According to one doc, the strongest solution most people tolerate is 0.6 mL of 3% food grade hydrogen peroxide in 3 mL (one pod) of saline solution. (He said this is a 0.5% solution.) I started right out with this solution and did fine; my lungs loved it. But if you want to be cautious, you could start with just 0.2 mL of peroxide for a treatment and work up. It's a good idea to do a 10-15 minute treatment four times per day (one upon waking, one at bedtime, and two nicely spaced in between).

I wash mask and rinse the tube well after each treatment, shake as much water as possible out of the tube, then hang things up to air dry. I don't do the fancy disinfection procedure the nebulizer instruction book talks about, because I'm lazy. Maybe you should do better than I do, and ask your doc for guidance on this aspect of things.

I find the mask doesn't fit well to my face, even with the head strap uncomfortably tight, so I skip the strap and hold the mask on using both hands (one on each side). The nebulizer is noisy. 10-15 minutes of this is seriously boring. I recommend nebulizing in front of your computer with funny cat videos playing for entertainment.

I hope this is helpful!

OMG why do you need a f*cking chemistry degree to do this? I asked my sister about it (a PA) and even she was like, "I don't do it because it's too confusing." THANK YOU so much for taking the time to write this out; I am going to print it and try to track down all of the appropriate pieces...

I am glad you are on the mend. I also had something similar at Christmas time. A good two days in bed, head about to pop and body aches. had funny, perfectly round purple spots, one with a yellow center emerge. Weird. What else are they doing that they haven't told us about?

10 days of feeling like crap. But I didn't die. I didn't pass it on bc I stayed home and my family are grown and gone. In fact, the hardest part of any of these have been to get ahead of any respiratory thing. Herbal steam baths and tea tree oil (knocked those spots right out, though they weren't raised or anything..still bizzare!)

This last time, while it really hurt my head, there was not respiratory element. Thankfully. What else are they lobbing out at us?

I would rather die of my own volition than take that kill shot. Ive watched too many people die and many injured.

You, get to 100% soon!

That sounds TERRIFYING!!! Glad you made it through. My BFF (in California, so we don't talk every day) saw this post today and called me to tell me she's sick as a dog, too. SO SICK SHE WANT TO THE ER. I was seriously like, "Have I taught you NOTHING???" She got v'd early on--to travel--but promised me she wouldn't get boosted and far as I know, hasn't. But the fact that she went to the ER instead of calling me FLOORED ME!!! Fortunately she made it out okay (with a flu diagnosis and a prescription for "nothing we can do for ya"). Eyeroll.

I'm sorry to hear that.

I have a friend that wants to seriously clean everything after I visit lately. She's all vaxxed up, me: none.

I told her about a year ago, after having to retire early w some heart complications and a surgery flowing her steady adherence, that I will only tell her once not to get any more (I've been banned from her house b4 - oh lordy!). She followed up w now I think her 7th! And second heart surgery, no energy, tachycardia that scares the daylights out if her ..but she's following Dr orders. She's going to rock herself away on her chair worrying about not getting her heart disturbed.

Glad you're feeling better. I just got over a bad virus but strangely the 'Doc in the box' I went to didn't test for Covid or Flu. It was the 1st time I've been sick since Covid in 12/21 so I'm not complaining. Bad cold with congestion & cough that lasted 7-10 days... really nothing unusual. We all held our tongue because we didn't want to be that 'anti-vaxxer' who died from it! I think it's part of just being a normal thoughtful person. Recall there were also belligerent people who mocked anti-vaxxers, took the shot & died. I forgot about the iodine too & have it in my cabinet- maybe because it was just a cold... or just Covid. Thanks for sharing hope you're fully recovered soon.

Jenna and all! I have 1 thing to say and you can all thank me later!

Go on Amazon and look for a product called “ColdBreak”. A good friend of mine who is an acupuncturist and an expert in Chinese medicine developed the product and IT WORKS!!! It comes in a package that has 6 small sleeves of the herbs. At the very beginning, when you feel that “tickle” in your throat, before bed put 1 sleeve in about 6 oz of water, mix it up and chug it down and go to bed. Not the best tasting, but the next morning you will feel considerably better. Take one more sleeve in the morning and 1 more that night and you will feel even better! If you already have the cold and feel crappy, you may need another day of the treatment. I have 3 pouches of the product in my medicine cabinet at all times. Truth!!!! Give it a try…….!
