I keep like-utensils together so when I pull them out, I get a handful of spoons, then a handful of forks, etc. So much easier to put them all away! Plus I don't like grabbing the utensils by the part that goes into the mouth when I'm pulling them out of the basket. That's just gross. This way I can pick them all up by the handle.

We use that rack for cutting boards and sheet pans. It seems to take longer to stack the silverware so neatly, although it looks pretty!

Too many of my family were Fauci Fans and swallowed all the lies about school and business closures, washing groceries, masks, and shots. My hope is that they might have some regrets if Fauci et al are arrested. That will only work if they all stop watching ABC and CNN, though.

Could NOT believe it & wanted to yell, “quit taking that shit” but it’s not worth the effort. They’re waaaay too far gone if they’re STILL believing in & taking it this far out.
You're right. One of the nicest guys I know, our assistant pastor, who is completely guileless, has now had every single covid shot, totaling 12 now, I believe and he can't figure out why he keeps getting covid.
I can't believe he is still alive. That's insane.
It must be by the grace of God, because he has had type 2 diabetes for as long as I've known him, several major surgeries, and he's only in his early 60s.

It's hard to be angry or judgmental about him; he's had some awful health problems since before covid and as I described him above, he's utterly guileless and completely trusting. Some people deserve condemnation because they should have known better, but in his case, I make an exception.
I understand Mary Ann, but he clearly should never have been made assistant pastor. Be wise as serpents and innocent as doves is very necessary for the role.
He has been in that role for 35 years and is much beloved by the congregation.
ABC and CNN will reassure them that Fauci is still a savior and that the evil POTUS is vindictive and illegally using his kingly power to seek retribution. They will quietly remind the audience that even the King can’t defeat The Science.
And then all the Democrats stood and clapped for the king of England. 😂

Putting butter knives in a dishwasher makes no sense to me. They are super easy to wash, dry and put away in the drawer.

Hand washing saves me a lot of time (and no wasted energy or water). I don't think I've used a dishwasher in 17 years now.
I thought dishwashers were for storing clean dishes! Washing dishes is what you do with your sink! {grin} Or am I the only "old fashioned" person here?
I didn’t load the dishwasher correctly on a consistent basis according to my husband and he would reload it. Eventually he did the dishwasher load. My only thought was that my plan worked a treat. 😊🤷🏼♀️

He also unloads it, but puts things in the wrong places, so there may be a pushback plan going on. We will be married 60 years next year. I may just play along with this one.
Drives me nuts when he doesn’t stack the clean mixing bowls properly, the sheet pans and measuring cups too. All this time I think he’s been trying to train me to do it myself, well, buddy, it ain’t working!

My lovely lady and I have worn-out so many dishwashers in our many decades together that I now just wash dishes by hand. Those things are getting really expensive!

That is literally my childhood!! We actually started to use the dishwasher as an actual dishwasher when we had our first baby and all the different breastpump parts was too overwhelming to handwash.
I grew up with four brothers. It was my job to wash the dishes. When I married first and left, my grandparents bought my mom a dishwasher (1972).
That really hurt me, and I still have an emotional scar from it!
Ah, that seems like a logical reason for using a dishwashing machine.
It just doesn't seem to make sense to run a dishwasher with a bunch of already clean dishes. Perhaps that's the OCD in me because way back when we actually used the dishwasher the only role for the dishwasher was to "sterilize" the dishes (which I had loaded in nicely cleaned).
Dishwashers make great liquor cabinets... pull-out drawers and everything.
