Haven't had time to comment lately. Had to say unsure in the poll only because I've never watched The View.

I do want share this. Got a call the other night from Christine at VSRF (https://vacsafety.org

), Steve Kirsch's org. They have started a campaign to get the child vaccine indemnity law repealed and are making several short videos to drum up support. This is one by Dr. MTB:

https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/fjd44qgmphrtze6tb9s50/vaccinepetitionforX.mp4?rlkey=p80q5262zyw4cobh7kjif4dxl&e=2&st=kwv7j619&dl=0

If that law gets repealed, it breaks the whole vaccine industrial complex as they can't exist if they are held responsible for damages.

Thanks for sharing, Bob! Pinning this comment.

I unplugged cable TV when the kids were born. We now have one sewer line in our house, and it goes OUT.

Janet's avatar

We shut the cable down last year when we realized we weren’t watching anything on it. I now and then watched House Hunters international just to yell at the entitled Americans complaining of no open plan living or walk in closets and kitchen islands the size of Long Island in the village center of a 800 yr old hovel in Italy on the side of a mountain inhabited by roaming donkeys. Picturesque yes. Livable no. Over $200 saved per month.

You forgot how they try so desperately to make things French by calling the Master Bath the “En Suite”, when all they are really doing is trying to make normal folks feel guilty for ever using the word “Master” just because there is a defunct association with American slavery 160+ years ago.

As a former ‘design professional’ of 40 years, now retired I feel I have the “bona fides” 😉 to weigh in on this. I spent my career looking at all manner of architectural plans, both residential and commercial. That the RE industry (and whatever other moronic architecture professional weighed in), has now decided to call what was formerly the “master bedroom/master bathroom”, the “primary bedroom/primary bathroom” is ridiculous. What garbage. Now the nomenclature on residential architectural plans has to be PC!

Notice how every time the Left decides to redefine something, it ends up adding confusion and wordiness? Homeless/ the unhoused, illegals/ undocumented immigrants, master/primary bedroom, two genders/450 made-up identities. The grievance people are insufferable and ruin everything that they touch.

Frontera Lupita's avatar

In Mexico they refer to ‘the homeless’ as “sin casa”. 😉😆

Agree! And what about a master’s degree? Or mastering a subject? What sort of hurt do people feel when asked what might the Master Plan entail? Jack of all trades, master of none— does that phrase

make

anyone cry?

Jewell's avatar

What might be the Top Down Plan? And Jack of all trades probably should be .... oh I give up. Jack and Jill of all trades. LOL BTW, only text language I get, I love KC and the Sunshine Band

KC & the Sunshine's avatar

I replied but it disappeared!!

I love KC and the sunshine band, as well. My initials are KC and I love the sunshine, though I know we are supposed to live in fear of and avoid it, so it all works.

Frontera Lupita's avatar

I have met a few of those “Jack of all trades, master of none” individuals!

Janet's avatar

Yes!! Crazeetown these days.

JudyC's avatar

Ha, I thought I was the only one who yelled at Americans house hunting abroad. “I want some place with real (insert country) charm! What do you mean there’s no bathtub?! The bedroom is too small. There’s no dishwasher?!”. Good grief! Go back home!

Janet's avatar

Lol. The “charm”. Most people actually living in those countries don’t want the charm of the past. The last thing they want is a charming abode where the cows and pigs are living in the same house. Or the toilet is outside. Pumping water at the well is good for upper body strength.

nancylee's avatar

shot one (tv) in the 70's. then opted to not have them in my house at all. no more propaganda, overt and subminal. at least via that medium.

Haha, the RISE Report wins the comment section today!

The View has one primary purpose. To reinforce TDS.

arrotsevni's avatar

"If yeast infection had a face" Truly classic!!

MS's avatar

My grandpa used to say "a face like that should cover up with a pair of pants".

arrotsevni's avatar

Another great laugh for the day. Thx!!

Lisa's avatar

I spewed coffee through my nose on that one! 🤣

DJL's avatar

The View is a day-time talk show, and a terrible one at that. No one with two brain cells to rub together would consider it journalism

Roberta Stack's avatar

Exactly!

Kendra's avatar

Exactly just like Jerry Springer, Oprah, Ricky Lake, Arsenio Hall, etc. etc. I think Oprah interviewed Trump at one time lol. Anyway, the View is just a huge waste of time (you only have so many days on the planet), with a tribe of shrieking liberal women (does democracy really work?) without critical thinking skills, the ability to listen to opposing views and without an ounce of Stoicism.

SHug's avatar

"Oprah interviewed Trump at one time" -Yes, she did and encouraged him to run for President. (as did many others).

I have never seen the view, never plan to. If shows such as this are examples of grown women’s conversations and actions, no wonder young men seem disinterested in young women.

Janet's avatar

It used to be on when I got my hair cut. I told her to turn it off.

Lisa Smith's avatar

I actually see The View on Fox 😂

kittynana's avatar

@Lisa- Gutfeld always makes sure they're 'viewed' on his show. Hilarious.

Anthony S Burkett's avatar

Omg! "From left to right: Edward R. Murrow, Bob Woodward, Carl Bernstein, Walter Cronkite, Clark Kent, and Ron Burgundy."... That was a morning coffee snort through my nose... Thanks a lot, Jenna... I'm still LingOL!!!~

Yes, if a yeast infection had a face, that would most certainly be it.

And now for the eye wash.

Janet's avatar

I’m so out of pop culture I just now realized what LingOL stands for. Is this good or bad? 🤔

Anthony S Burkett's avatar

If you were referring to your recent realization... and wondering if that was a good or bad thing... I can only commiserate with you... as I constantly have to do Google searches for the meaning of acronyms... ;)

Anthony S Burkett's avatar

It's a good thing... More grammatically correct to say that "I'm still laughing out loud (LingOL), than to say I'm still laugh out loud (LOL)... :)

Jewell's avatar

Thanks for that clarification for me. I would have had to GOOGLE it and not sure if Google knows all that.

Elise Guidoux's avatar

Me too Janet, I have to do searches on most acronyms..they are beyond me.

kittynana's avatar

@Anthony- I had a mouth full of coffee when I read that. To hold coffee in and not dribble like an 8 month old in a high chair is the epitome of Boomer exercise.

TheGreatAwakening's avatar

OMG I literally made a similar comment ((not yet having scrolled through the comment section )) ... I was drinking my morning warm lemon water that came out of my mouth ...

kittynana's avatar

@Great- Club members!!

Lisa's avatar

Ditto!! Mine was coffee through my nose 😆

Anthony S Burkett's avatar

Same, but I coughed, and the coffee came out of my nose! :D

kittynana's avatar

@Anthony- CLASSIC!!!

KBB's avatar

Those two are going to have me laughing all day.

Roberta Stack's avatar

I had the same reaction! 😂😂

Jenna McCarthy's avatar

You are uniquely fluent in my love language.😂🩷

Anthony S Burkett's avatar

And with a sweeping gesture of the hand, I doff my cap and graciously bow... 🙇

Jewell's avatar

Well that snort had to hurt a little.

Anthony S Burkett's avatar

It wasn't what I would call fun... but it did make me laugh harder... and cleared my sinuses!

Paul Jackson's avatar

The View is a bunch of middle aged women with nothing to say who can’t stop saying it.

Beth's avatar

Just because the people of The View discuss/argue current topics, does not make them a "news" organization. There is a difference between reporting verifiable facts and offering an opinion about the "facts". The View likes to behave as if their world view - is THE world view, but that does not mean it is. To even consider that ABC is trying to peddle those ladies on The View as hard hitting journalists is hilarious!

Jewell's avatar

Beth, the only thing hard hitting about the The View is the drivel coming out of their mouths and it's annoying.

Heather B's avatar

Just imagine if there were a talk show that existed to trash the Democrats the entire time, like if they banged on Obama or Hillary or Kamala and never had anyone on that liked them or their "policies." The screaming of "unfair" on their side would never stop. Which is pretty much what happens on The View anyway; lots and lots of screaming that Republicans are mean and unfair. (Any of them could be the face of a yeast infection) We need more mental asylums!

Janet's avatar

Each one of these noxious, toxic, stupid banshees could be a disease. Candida, C-Dif, diarrhea, constipation, anemia. You get the picture.

Heather B's avatar

They all do act as if constipated! 😂

CraigN's avatar

Sorry, not sorry but they all need to get intimate with someone (edited from 'laid' so as to sound less crass). Trying to find a willing participant might be as hard as trying to find journalism on that show

SHug's avatar

I don't know, they more seem to spew diarrhea than keep it to themselves.

David Nelson's avatar

And--Just Like That--Gutfeld is "news!"

Tim Pallies's avatar

Congrats on the Crayola fortune!!

Vee's avatar

Maybe this is more shadows on the cave wall for us to be distracted by instead of questioning who is casting the shadows.

This entire idea that the "news" still exists is propaganda. We all know that the "news" was long infiltrated by the CIA with Operation Mockingbird, so why are we all still pretending like real news actually exists? It's all propaganda. There is no "balance" or "real" journalism and reporting anymore. It's literally all propaganda and the plandemic was the prime example. It didn't matter what channel you flipped to. All the reporting was the same. It blows my mind that people still think they are being informed by these channels when they turn on that blackbox when all the networks are owned by five companies now if not less.

The same is true for the FCC. Why are we pretending that they exist to do anything positive for the average American? They allow all the propaganda. They allow all the continuing massive 5G and wireless deployment by claiming "safe" with studies from the 90s. This is all a show and the producers and directors are the same ones that faked the moon landings. We need a lot more fish face slapping in society lol

Roberta Stack's avatar

So hilarious! How absurd to think The View is a news program. It’s a TDS platform.

John Wright's avatar

How is that Crayola fortune working out Jenna? 😇

Once again, I'm reminded why I don't watch any of this garbage.

David Baldwin's avatar

The VIEW and the CLUELESS! I think I accidentally landed on the show once. Watched for about 10 minutes. Got "sick." Then went to something more useful,

I keep thinking there was one conservative on the show, but she was usually ostracized like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.

Gwyneth's avatar

"The View and the Clueless" Sounds like a good name for a soap opera.

John (jc) Comeau's avatar

That's a great observation about the "both ways". Exemption from the "equal time" rule for being "news" and, simultaneously, immunity from defamation suits for being satire. Brilliant.

Justin's avatar

And if they DO win their argument that The View is news, I SERIOUSLY hope that a hard review on WHY the Smith-Mundt Modernization Act is still a legal license in place to lie to the American people. You can thank Obama for signing that into law.
