One time in 1998 I had a sofa custom made. It took them 3 months and they made it too big to fit through the door. (they had ignored my measurements) After about an hour of shoving it still would not fit so they took it back to the factory for 3 more months to cut it down to size. This time it barely fit. 6 months to make a sofa. I named it Sofa King because it took so fucking long to finish it. Just this week I called my son to ask him where Sofa King went as I didn't remember what happened to it. He still has Sofa King LOL.

Imagine after lugging the pieces up there discovering that it wouldn't fit through the door frame. It needed an extra inch and a half. So... Off came the door frame. They're both gone now, but I don't want to tear out the door frame again.
