That's the weasel way he showed that it wasn't kids on drugs IN THEIR TEENS. Incidentally, I left that office because the notion that trying dietary changes to improve behavior was too radical, also threatening to their livelihoods. I weep at the mess we have created.

I was a big time supporter of Truthstream Media until recently (I had to cut back because of my finances). Most of their videos are good, but I failed to see the point of the video you linked to at the time of its release. I watched it after it came out. The timing was the demise of that violent anti-ICE protester Alex Pretti. Pretti was killed because he kept messing with ICE agents, not because of any 2nd Amendment right to carry or anything like that.
The mainstream media and government were all repeating the same point. That people shouldn't be bringing a gun to a peaceful protest. That is the foot in the door for gun control. We can carry guns everywhere. That it the 2nd amendment. No exceptions.
Again, Pretti was killed after getting into a physical altercation with ICE agents, not because he came armed. He was extremely foolish to do what he did, and he lost his life because of it. And try carrying a firearm into a government building and see how far you get.
I can't change your mind, because I agree. Now at age 79 she has taken it too far. Diagnosed finally with adult anorexia she is down to 72lbs, has a heart monitor, her organs are failing, refuses to see a therapist, still thinks she’s fat and refuses to eat so that we have to trick her with vitamins in her coffee (only thing she’ll put near her lips). It’s destroyed our family as the husband goes along and wants it all secretive and not to discuss with her! There’s more to the story I can’t get into here but it’s BS. My aunts “alternative lifestyle” is a mental illness that she refuses to get help for. We are told to play along while she withers away and now can barely walk. And yes, coercing and aiding children into this or any “alternative” lifestyle that is against reality and nature is evil and sick.
People in a mental health crisis can't see reality. From the outside looking in, it's all so clear, and we think if only they'd listen. Many years ago, in nursing school, I was encouraged to go into psych nursing. I tried it for a while, but every day felt like bashing my head against a wall, with nearly no progress on chronic cases, but dragging a few emergencies back from the brink. I finally gave it up and settled into surgery, where there were successes and progress every day. You have my heartfelt sympathy for having to deal with mental illness. I couldn't do it.
I also know a woman who stopped eating about 6 years ago and is now at end of life organ failure. Her husband tiptoes around it. This woman, however, does not think she's fat; she's proud she's wearing a size 0 now and always makes a point of saying so. She is 70 and looks like a Holocaust survivor. It's awful. My sympathies for you and her family.

I went there as a teen trying to get a handle on/aka control what was not in my control (most of life). My choice to eat, or not, and to run miles everyday were my attempt at control. Fortunately, by the absolute grace of God, the bout was short-lived (about a year) and I survived. I have known of two others who suffered for many years. The families were so focused on the sick person all sense of normalcy for the rest was not considered. Mental illness, in any manifestation, is devastating to everyone in the circle. 🙏🏻

If you look at anti-depressants called SSRI's ( Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors ) you'll find the largest most prevalent contributor to mass shootings. Not to mention suicidal tendencies. They are especially so when taken in high dosage or in combination with other medications.

I was a big time supporter of Truthstream Media until recently (I had to cut back because of my finances). Most of their videos are good, but I failed to see the point of the video you linked to at the time of its release. I watched it after it came out. The timing was the demise of that violent anti-ICE protester Alex Pretti. Pretti was killed because he kept messing with ICE agents, not because of any 2nd Amendment right to carry or anything like that.
The mainstream media and government were all repeating the same point. That people shouldn't be bringing a gun to a peaceful protest. That is the foot in the door for gun control. We can carry guns everywhere. That it the 2nd amendment. No exceptions.
Again, Pretti was killed after getting into a physical altercation with ICE agents, not because he came armed. He was extremely foolish to do what he did, and he lost his life because of it. And try carrying a firearm into a government building and see how far you get.
I can't change your mind, because I agree. We are complicit in destroying these kids when we stay silent and fail to demand explanations and accountability for over-medicating and indulging delusions that wreck lives. An adult who wishes to lead an alternative lifestyle is one thing; a child being molded, groomed, and coerced into something they can't possibly understand is quite another. I believe that in the future, our society will look back at this in horror.
Sorry, even adults who behave in this manner need mental help. And it’s not good for society to play along. I have an older relative who has had an eating disorder most of her life. Now at age 79 she has taken it too far. Diagnosed finally with adult anorexia she is down to 72lbs, has a heart monitor, her organs are failing, refuses to see a therapist, still thinks she’s fat and refuses to eat so that we have to trick her with vitamins in her coffee (only thing she’ll put near her lips). It’s destroyed our family as the husband goes along and wants it all secretive and not to discuss with her! There’s more to the story I can’t get into here but it’s BS. Going along to get along does no one any good :(
I'm sorry your family is going through this. Mental illness of any kind wreaks havoc on everyone involved. There's certainly an argument to be made that all alternate lifestyles are versions of mental illness, though not 'settled science'. I was trying to make the point that coercing and aiding children into this lifestyle is particularly heinous.
My aunts “alternative lifestyle” is a mental illness that she refuses to get help for. We are told to play along while she withers away and now can barely walk. And yes, coercing and aiding children into this or any “alternative” lifestyle that is against reality and nature is evil and sick.
People in a mental health crisis can't see reality. From the outside looking in, it's all so clear, and we think if only they'd listen. Many years ago, in nursing school, I was encouraged to go into psych nursing. I tried it for a while, but every day felt like bashing my head against a wall, with nearly no progress on chronic cases, but dragging a few emergencies back from the brink. I finally gave it up and settled into surgery, where there were successes and progress every day. You have my heartfelt sympathy for having to deal with mental illness. I couldn't do it.

I also know a woman who stopped eating about 6 years ago and is now at end of life organ failure. Her husband tiptoes around it. This woman, however, does not think she's fat; she's proud she's wearing a size 0 now and always makes a point of saying so. She is 70 and looks like a Holocaust survivor. It's awful. My sympathies for you and her family.
Sounds like my relative, and now she’s got dementia on top of the anorexia….shes also been jabbed multiple times so because we haven’t been, we are not allowed near her anymore :(
AJoy—my sincere sympathies. Eating disorders are very visible signs of disordered mental processes. I went there as a teen trying to get a handle on/aka control what was not in my control (most of life). My choice to eat, or not, and to run miles everyday were my attempt at control. Fortunately, by the absolute grace of God, the bout was short-lived (about a year) and I survived. I have known of two others who suffered for many years. The families were so focused on the sick person all sense of normalcy for the rest was not considered. Mental illness, in any manifestation, is devastating to everyone in the circle. 🙏🏻
