Then there are also usually some immuno compromised kids *(may not even know it yet) that can not get live vaccines at all, because they WILL get & spread the disease before anyone knows they even have it. Just like I did at 13 with big red measles, days after a required MMR vaxx; all spent with friends & extended family until the rash showed at day 9. Five of those days were also at school among the crowds. So, yeah, I may unknowingly have caused a cluster. It itched, I was achy, my eyes burned, so we had to keep the lights low, I wasn't allowed tv or to read and I had to self isolate since my brother & his pregnant wife lived with us. No big deal otherwise; at least it wasn't German measles or mumps.
So, if you DO get your kids vaxxed, just keep them away from anyone else until you KNOW they are not infectious (running a mild fever). And if your kids ARE vaxxed, then you don't have to concern yourself with other people's kids who may not be.
ie: if your vaccine works as described (after a possible infectious period), you don't have to worry about if I've had one at all, which is good, because I can't take it.
Many people don't realize this unless they have an immuno-compromised person in the family or are one. We had no idea until it happened to me around 1979.

Many people don't realize this unless they have an immuno-compromised person in the family or are one. We had no idea until it happened to me around 1979.
My mom had avoided getting me any vaxxes til then, no first grade vaxxes, etc.
The immuno-system disease (RA) I ended up with later on (2000s); though my dad had RA so maybe she saw some correlation between me & my dad. (? I did have the chickenpox 3 separate times in 2nd/3rd grades - Yes, I know you're only supposed to be able to get it once.). No idea & no one to ask now.
I was the last of 5 kids, and she allowed all the others to get vaxxed, none of them ended up with issues like mine. I'm just glad they discontinued small pox injections by then, my older sis got a needle broken off in her arm.
Back then, even in the 70s, most regular people TRUSTED the government, wrongly, we know now. So they did what they were "supposed" to do and marched off to get vaccinated. I shake my head and wonder how many more years my grandma might have lived without all those flu & other vaccines everyone insisted she get, because of the allergies she developed later on - after she started getting vaxxes. It's just a cycle of poison, reaction and abuse.
Call me paranoid, but it seems like the intelligence agencies have a pulse on the current sentiment around these latest mRNA shots and this is how they direct the government and mainstream media outlets to respond. It's hopium to let us think that the federal government actually cares. They don't care.
This is the third time we've seen this and nothing has happened, so why would this time be any different? Fool me once, shame on... you know how it goes.
Do you know how it could be different? If the truth was actually proclaimed. "All mRNA shots will now be banned from the US due to the massive amount of documented injuries and deaths caused by this new technology. This mRNA technology will no longer be allowed for use in vaccines until a proper randomized long-term placebo control trial on people is conducted. If such a trial exists, publish it to the public, and this technology can continue to be used."
This is how simple it would be, but they are toying with us.

How about JUST SAY NO? Stop! That poison is not going into me or my child! We are on our own and being attacked by greedy, incompetent liars. Get used to it. Adapt.
I just can't ever get past being gobsmacked that people who are vaxxed are still worried that people who aren't are a threat to them in any way, since if they believe their vaccines actually work they should believe they are protected from the unvaxxed masses they worry about.
Heather, it's happening at my granddaughter's private school this year. Since only 35% of the students are vaccinated, those parents are concerned that the unvaccinated children will infect their children. There is ZERO logic in this, and the Board should have brought this up to them. I can't wrap my mind around all this insanity. I'm getting to the point where I want to take my entire family to a remote tropical island to live in peace!
I did a whole post about letting us live in unvaccinated peace. And I used to sometimes answer the criticism of having unvaxxed kids with "I thought you said your vaccines work. You're safe then, right?" Mostly that did not go over very well. 😂
Or homeschool the kids! Out of the clutches of any organized education system, even the private schools!
I know many such people and I genuinely can't understand the logic (or lack therof). It is truly a religion for some. During covid when a neighbor, who is also a doctor, confronted me about not getting the jab, I told him I would be willing to sign an agreement to never use hospital resources, if only everyone would leave me alone to make my own risk choices.

I don’t know, I watched part of her Confirmation hearing and the vaccine disciples were apoplectic that she would not promise to directly defy Kennedy if he ordered major changes to the schedule!
but she did clearly answer 'yes', she believed the mRNA platform was 'safe & effective' so that's all I had to hear. but honestly, most of these people I cannot even see as 'people'; they are repeater zombies, all playing it safe in order to move up the ladder.

Indiana too. religious exemptions. they got rid of the medical exemption back in 2010, I believe. I used them for both my younger boys, for over 10 yrs. nobody said 'boo' to me. and they never demanded the convid jab so there's that.
(incidentally, this is the first year since 1997 that I don't have a kid going back to public school! kinda weird. but in a good way :) :) )
