As for todays’s take, I respectfully disagree with Jenna. This is not about Trump blocking people who insult him. It’s about Trump banning “trusted press” that are willfully lying to the people, and their mere presence in the White House gives them a position of honest authority on the subjects, of which they have no honesty whatsoever.
He should have banned them 18 months ago but he gave them a chance, repeatedly, and repeated warnings, over and over and over again. They refused to be honest or responsible to the public. They don’t deserve those seats.
I often wonder who to believe in the news. Stopped watching most of it these last 5-6 years. All the outlets seem pretty biased based on political views and capture by big Pharma. I’m all for free speech, but not free lies.

We have an Advantage Plan. . We can see any doctor we like. Ours is doing well for us and hubby has 3 progressive diseases and he’s in remission from cancer. My ER visit in July cost me $12.20.
Some Advantage plans are getting a look see but ours, Aetna through Retired Teachers is great for now. Our premiums are very low. I hear lots of scare tactics. So hard to wiggle out the truth about anything these days. Tiresome so I just end up disengaging. I don’t comment around our truth world here as much these days either.

Real journalism is all but dead in the US. As recently as the 1950s and 60s, we were taught, in English class and writing classes in both high school and college, how to write a news story. I haven't read one of those in years! And when the headline/title leads you to believe something false before you even get to the story, that is worse. I think news people ought to be required, like doctors and other professionals, to attend and actually learn from continuing education classes, if for no other reason than to remind them to always tell the truth. Then, if their work doesn't show that they know what they're doing, send them out to pasture. Or to work at McDonald's or some equivalent. Just stop lying to us!

The outlets banded, and the ones organizing to sue the President, are also the ones who colluded to ban Breitbart News from the WH. No doubt other conservative/populace/libertarian outlets were blackballed, as well, but Breitbart was the largest and most well-known.
The invitation to be in the WH press pool is a privileges, not a right. The ugly slanders directed at Trump and his team are far worse than anything I've ever seen, and I have decades of Republican and Democrat involvement. I've never seen such ill-tempered and non-professional behavior by the attendees from the various leftwing publications as what has been shown over the last 10 years, all directed at Trump and his team.
Up to and including supporting the assassination of Trump. It's despicable.
