What bothers me most is not Piker’s statements, they are reprehensible, but not surprising; it’s that he has millions of morons listening to and agreeing with them. And many of them get to vote. Frightening.

One objection: please don’t associate Piker with Rogan. I get the “they’re both popular podcasters” angle, but Rogan has never said shit like Piker.

Jenna McCarthy's avatar

That’s what people call him! I’m just the messenger. 😉

Juju's avatar

They so desperately wanted their own Joe Rogan, as always they judged him solely by the surface/identity and not the substance.

You nailed it: they ONLY wanted their toe in the door of the youth in this country, and I’m certain they would have hoisted young Hitler himself to do it. And Mao. And Stalin. Democrats have no shame or reservations. Frankly, Piker is the perfect poster boy for that party.

Cindi's avatar

The problem today though is that when DemoncRATs tried to compete w/ the likes of Rush Limbaugh, their radio shows always failed. In today’s world, this guy has a real audience of useful idiots. That’s scary.

Jewell's avatar

Young Hitler (well maybe he was different than Older Hitler) but aren't they accusing Trump of being Hitler?

Your comments are dead on.

Juju's avatar

Yeah isn’t it strange that faced with actual Nazi sympathizers and those supporting authoritarian regimes they emphasize they are a big tent and need to welcome all points of view, except MAGA points of view, of course. Those people need to be sh*t if they can inspire someone to do it, to save democracy of course. 🤨🤦🏼‍♀️

Bradley Lewis's avatar

Well, it's what the media created so many sheep parrot it.

Kitt Lo's avatar

That is truly the most terrifying part! That millions of people follow him. Maybe some of the "hot lots" of Cvd19 shots were "idiot lots" because how else?!

Doug's avatar

Nah, the shots weren't the cause of idiocy, they were a symptom. Years and years of crappy public education and dumbing down by TV first and then social media is what got us to this point.

Rosemary B's avatar

you got it! Spot on

SadieJay's avatar

AGREE. If civics were taught (anywhere, please!) then the morons of today would know who this pearl represents. But they don't know shit and might not be low IQ like the rioting blue haired eaters, but they are homeless voters with no inner compass between good and evil. There is no wisdom in the thoughts of those who worship Piker and his ilk.

Ulrika O'Brien's avatar

When the Democrats and the captured media decided Team Blue needed their own Joe Rogan, they looked around and decided to settle on Hasan Piker for entirely superficial reasons. The irony here is that, as Rogan himself has observed, the obvious candidate for "the liberal Joe Rogan" is...yep, Joe Rogan himself. It's just that the Democrats have moved so far into the lunatic fringes that they left former sympathizers like Rogan, and me, and many others, behind to get labeled "far right."

CStone's avatar

The left has not moved. They just took off their masks and some are just now noticing……the DemoniKKKRats are exactly what they have always been:

Satan’s handmaids.

Could you please say what you find so reprehensible? He’s a bit of a shock jock, sure, but…his statements overall seem far more sane, normal, and grounded than what we regularly hear out of our Dem party leaders (e.g. Schumer, Gillibrand, Booker, Smith, Jeffries, Meeks).

Most of the sensationalist, abhorrent things I see attributed to him are willful misrepresentations of what he said.

Jenna McCarthy's avatar

Sane, normal, and grounded? If I were your landlord or your daughter, I would be very afraid.

Sam's avatar

Why, because I'm not a racist? Because I stand up to antisemitism? Because I think murder is wrong? You're tossing around a lot of attacks without actually engaging with any points.

Can you actually state what you found so reprehensible?

kittynana's avatar

@Sam- I'm recovering from major abdominal surgery and sure AF could use the hard core drugs you're on.

Sam's avatar

Thank you for the specific list of examples.

Again, this dude is slightly off of center if you actually listen to any of the context. Whereas most Washington politicians belong in an insane asylum.

kittynana's avatar

@Sam- Piker is so far left he's going to fall off the earth. Allah willing.

Sam's avatar

How so? I lived for 30 years in Indiana doing door knocking for doomed Dem campaigns. From Piker's actual views, I think he's far more aligned to your everyday average American than almost everybody in Congress. Can you give examples?

kittynana's avatar

@Sam- America did NOT deserve 9/11, I am not for Capitalist blood being spilled in the streets and being lectured by an asshat who has built his wealth on capitalism, the American flag should behis favorite flag and not that of an organization that wants to kill us, etc. and yada, yada, yada. Did you read Jenna's article?

Russell Schierling's avatar

Your brain operates on a totally different level than the rest of us, mere mortals. And I mean that as a sincere complement... "It's what would happen if Howard Stern and Andrew Dice Clay had a baby, sent him to communist summer camp, and gave him a webcam." I'm just glad I did not have a mouthful of coffee!

Jenna McCarthy's avatar

I do love what I do!😂🩷

FREED0ML0VER's avatar

Believe me, it shows in your excellent columns, which I wait impatiently to read every morning before I continue with the rest of my morning routine.

Kitt Lo's avatar

And we love that you do!

kittynana's avatar

@Jenna- And WE love what you do!!!

Daryce Morris's avatar

Saw Andrew Dice Clay live…100 years ago but he was funny as hell!

Juju's avatar

I was the only blonde cheerleader in college that could do a convincing impression of both Dice Clay and Joan Rivers. 🤣 AND Clint Eastwood. But when I started with my Clay bit the room always fell apart in laughter because of the double funny: his best jokes combined with a petite female doing them. It was quite the surprise.

Gosh …. I haven’t tried my impressions in over 30 years! That was so long ago! And my throat cleared up from the hoarseness caused by cheerleading (and, ahem, bar hopping.) Doubt I could do any of them today if I tried. I once won a month’s worth of beer from a local liquor store talent contest doing my Janice Joplin impression (Bobby McGeeeeee) but I gifted it to the guys in our brother fraternity.

Daryce Morris's avatar

I’m thinking we need a video of all these voices…get practicing Juju!!!

Juju's avatar

🤣🤣 Like I said, you need a gravely voice to pull it all off. I no longer have that. 😆

Daryce Morris's avatar

Take up the habit of smoking unfiltered camel cigarettes - that gravely voice will be back in no time ! Hahaha

Doug's avatar

You sound like fun to party with, Juju! ; )

Tonee norman's avatar

Now THAT is something I think we all would like to see! Don’t tease us..

Juju's avatar

🤣 Oh how nice it would be to turn back the clock and not waste our gifts 😆

Tonee norman's avatar

I’m still rockin’ Juju. Even at a ripe old grandma age. In fact, if I’m getting ready to sing some bluegrass and the sound guy is taking too long to set up,I will begin to belt out ,acapella,Janis’s “Mercedes Benz “.. the audience joins in and the sound person hurries up!😉

I am absolutely certain your gifts are still intact and not “wasted”.🎶😎

Karen Bandy's avatar

I used to do a Flip Wilson impression when I was a kid and then in college for my DG sisters did an impression of a black singer… words are ‘I’m a flaming mame and I’m a red hot momma’ but I’m wracking my brain trying to figure out who I was imitating. 😂

Kitt Lo's avatar

I often felt a I was a traitor to my gender for laughing as hard as I did at his humor. I assuage my guilt by knowing (?) that persona was invented, even tho' it was probably based on real people. Especially after I saw him as Gaga's father in "A Star is Born."

🌱Nard🙏's avatar

“The man is an anti-capitalist radical. An America-hating terrorist fanboy.” I disagree. He’s a poser. A phony. A self-indulgent little spoiled brat capitalizing off of capitalism while pretending to hate it. America made him rich…the American way. May his armpits be infested with a thousand fleas.

Paige Green's avatar

Agreed. He made the monster and now has to feed it.

Warrior Mom's avatar

oh yeah, total phony. agree. my 20 year old sounds so much more intelligent and he dropped out of HS during the convid!

Dena's avatar

A mean spoiled brat that got caught using a shock collar to control his dog while streaming. Tells you what kind of low life loser abusing free speech we’re dealing with.

kittynana's avatar

@Dena- I forgot about the dog. Now I REALLY hate him.

clem h fandango's avatar

Yes everything about him is carefully curated. Including his dog in the background of his streams. He could not abide her leaving the frame...

Bradley Lewis's avatar

LOL! Though I think his scrotum would be better.

Skenny's avatar

It's entertaining to watch democrat politicians trying to guess when and whether to jump on or off the Hasan Piker train. They don't possess the moral clarity to judge for themselves. They have to wait, and attempt to gauge the public reaction before deciding what they think. It's not easy to be a democrat.

Richard schoenenberger's avatar

I don’t know…maybe the Jewish community might want to start voting republican for a change.

Kaycee's avatar

Wouldn't that be nice for a change. What I still fail to understand is why Jews have voted for Democrats for so long. But now, after all these DSA, wanna be Communists, have actually taken off the mask and let their true thoughts out how can a single Jew vote for any of them? They are coming for the Jews. I would be terrified and furious and changing my vote, like yesterday.

Richard schoenenberger's avatar

Might even help swing some close elections.

FLGenX's avatar

LOL the visuals!! 😆 “They can backpedal all they want now, but dumping the guy at this stage in the game is like kicking someone out of the wedding after he’s punched the groom, robbed the bartender at knifepoint, slept with the mother-of-the-bride, and eaten the cake with his hands.”

KC & the Sunshine's avatar

I plan weddings and do flowers. I frequently stay all day and into the night to “put out fires”. This whole phrase of Jenna’s has me shook and rethinking my life choices.

ELKFLA's avatar

Piker is David Duke with a podcast. His comments are the free association of a mind indoctrinated by generations of Arab racism. We do have to thank him for one thing though. Its him and people like him who finally ripped the mask off of anti-Zionism and exposed the anti-semitism underneath. This albatross should be firmly and publicly hung around the necks of AOC, Bernie, and Rho Khanna.

Socialism is just the latest slick, edgy sounding marketing cover for the anarchists, communists, and other professional losers and malcontents who cling to the underside of western societies like algae. And, like algae, they need to be pressure washed off every so often.

Pastor Mike's avatar

David Duke ! Dats a Goot one, yah.

ELKFLA's avatar

"Piker is David Duke with a podcast". There's a bumper sticker. 😄

Kendra's avatar

They first come for Saturday then for Sunday.

Juju's avatar

I wonder if people realize that David Duke first started out on the Democrat side. The only reason he switched parties is because he wanted to align with the stronger vehicle.

The Republicans and the RNC strongly rebuked him. He was not a product of the party’s platform or its national leadership. I don’t know if the DNC publicly rebuked him or not. But that’s their forte, switching sides to run on the other ticket for the advantage …

Vee's avatar

lol!! I'm still waiting for you to make your debut on Kill Tony. Make it happen Jenna!

I chose other, so I'll just leave this quote here:

"If you want to know who rules over you, just look for who you are not allowed to criticize".

Kathleen Oliver's avatar

Eh, Piker is just the left's latest attempt to find their poster boy for their version of masculinity to carry their message to masuline white guys who's votes they are bleeding. They want their version of Joe Rogan. I find it appalling that anyone finds this guy relevant simply because he is outrageous with a following. The left thinks his toxicity is a virtue they can use to attract votes for leftist candidates. Their problem is they love this version of masculinity and find toxic the version of masculinity who gets up and goes to work at a tough job every morning. A job like being a first responder, or farming, or a tradesman, to support his wife and his kids. The guy who loves to work out, fish with his kids and kneels in a church on Sundays. They can't reach that guy because that guy has better things to do than stream the internet looking to be influenced. That guy has morals this country was built on and is not looking to tear down this country that gave him freedom and opportunity. I am sick that anyone gives 2 figs for this Piker guy. He is the joke the left has become.

KC & the Sunshine's avatar

This makes me happy.

My fam tree is filled with toxic males. I couldn’t love them

any more than I already do.

I can’t tell you how often they’ve worked a full day, then driven off on their four wheelers for hours to pull cars and drivers to safety — or HOME, during ice storms.

There’s a meme going around that says something like, “Other gals trying to find a guy that can fix that, move that, help with this. I married him. I married the can-do guy.”

(I didn’t but I have those cousins.)

Christine's avatar

I did actually marry "That Guy". 🥰

KC & the Sunshine's avatar

I’m jealous! I married the guy that asks me to text all our friends and family to get the number AND then call the guy! Thankfully, he can typically afford to at least pay that guy.

FLGenX's avatar

Poll: I think he is a human sewer who is allowed to be rage bait. Another divisive chaos agent.

Jpeach's avatar

Hitler had a schtick. Mao had a schtick, Stalin had a schtick. Hopefully Piker’s schtick ends in prison.

Tim Pallies's avatar

I'm so old that I can remember when Rolling Stone was a decent read.

ASK's avatar

Yeah, and then they glorified one of the Boston bombers on their cover. Disgusting and anti-American.

Dr. Raleigh Phillips's avatar

Never heard of him…. But I’m still listening to Paul Harvey……Good day!

Warrior Mom's avatar

I never would have heard of him either if it were not for Dave Smith eviscerating him on the regular.

MS's avatar

... and now we know the rest of your story

Dee Smith's avatar

Has anyone ever checked out Piker’s “millions of followers” to see if they are actually millions of individuals in America, as in millions of American citizens who are eligible to vote in elections??

Juju's avatar

Really good point

Dr. Molly Rutherford's avatar

You didn't really ruin my day. So many people need Jesus, including this douchebag.

Juju's avatar

🤣 Please check out our community groups! Our Mom’s group meets Tuesday mornings, Coffee with Dads is on Fridays, Addiction meets Wednesday nights after the service, oh, and Douchebags meet after Sunday Service because you need some extra Holy Water, bring a casserole.

CStone's avatar

Juju……😂😂😂

You are so very funny!

kittynana's avatar

@Juju- Buahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!

Lori's avatar

Piker is a demon in a skin suit. The last thing he will seek out is Jesus.

Ginny Moore's avatar

“Suddenly, the Left’s Joe Rogan is the Left’s drunk uncle nobody remembers inviting to Thanksgiving.” Bhahahaha! 😂

I’m dead.

And also, that dog meme OMG I scared my own (sometimes scary) crazy Catahoula mix with my laugh at that one. 😂🤣😂

God I love you. Have a great weekend ya beautiful bad ass. 😘🤬🍑
