I do buy many of my books from Amazon sadly but I figure it’s a way of telling them that there are people out here who want these kinds of books. AND when I go into Wellesley Books in Maskachusetts , they never have any books I want. So I make them order them. I also order so many authors’ books to support them. Even if I don’t read them all, I have quite an extensive library of books that would throw any liberal into anaphylaxis! The War on Ivermectin is one of my faves.

My friend gave me this brilliant idea.

I ordered The War on Ivermectin from my local library (of course they didn’t have it). I told the guy, “you really need to read it”.

They left me a message that it came in. I never went in to pick it up. 😃

Hoping others have.

Good job!

Well, go check it out at least! 😀. Our library "judges" books based on check out rates. 👍🏻

Our library has a safe zone for kids to read books for … all kinds of crap . I asked the librarian and said it was needed for kids and the city council approved it .

It’s just disgusting Bro.

Ahh...nailed it with one comment, "The real heroes are the everyday people all around you" who take action based on their individual common sense. We do this every day 24/7 and rarely recognize how important this is to a society dedicated to fairness.

I refuse to believe that I cannot make a difference in this fight.

When I hear the words, “what can I do? I’m just one person.” My response is, ”said 7 billion people.”

Jenna - I’m headed toward 700 subscribers! Again, I am so very grateful for you encouraging me to start this stack.

Warning to those that haven’t seen my stack. There are very graphic photos.

🤣🤣 “Add to cart Add to cart Add to cart” 🤣 Dying laughing. Great gif for that. You’re today’s winner of getting me to spit coffee out my nose.

I LOVE that you published that list of books. We need to plaster that list everywhere and let people know the real truths are potentially between their pages. We need to send a big message with our purchasing of them that regardless our positions or whether or not we are in agreement with said books, that we will not allow anyone to censor our right to read them by making it next to impossible to even find them. For that alone we need to purchase them!

Expand full comment

Juju - I have a bookcase full of many of these books. I’ve only read a couple of them, but yes, we should all purchase them if we have the means.

I just purchased two this morning. 🤣 Gotta put my money where my mouth is. I got both for my kindle so I can read a bit before bed. I also finally purchased “The Real Anthony Fauci” by RFKJr. I’ve read a lot of excerpts and listened to a lot of his interviews about the content, but I want to read it in its entirety myself. I hear you can get really angry reading it so I’ll have to take it slow and take sanity breaks to squeeze happiness back into my posture. Lol I already get angry enough all day reading the news on Substack and the like.

Yes, thank God for Jenna. She is such an incredible ray of “LOL sunshine” in the middle of a mud pit. She makes it easier to bear it all. Somehow she gives us the crux of the matter worthy of intense rage but in a way that tempers that anger by creating a calm clarity with the release of laughter. Sort of how a good cry can clear one’s mind and soul and allow more productive thinking and choices, laughter is how we cry over our present society.

AWE YOU GUYS I ADORE YOU!!! THIS is why I do this :) TY.

Juju- I could not agree more. I sometimes I feel like reading all these stacks (except for Jenna’s of course) robs me of the joy in life.

But on the other hand, anger is a good motivator.

I agree Laura , sometimes I get so upset, I stop reading stacks or comments.

The Real Anthony Fauci is long and detailed and yes makes you angry, bewildered (how long has this gone on?!) and sad. I read half, read a few other books and returned to read the last half. It is amazing how much RFK jr knows and how well he shares incredibly complicated information. You'll definitely need to read Jenna's Substack as a tonic between chapters :)

Here's another list of noteworthy books of the past few years, and an idea for spreading truth they contain:

The list will be updated in the near future, since, thankfully, a steady stream of inspiring books are continually being published!

We are the ones we have been waiting for. Don't look to superheroes or anyone pretending to have the answer to anything. The truth: no matter how much education we have, we are all just making it up as we go along. It's called free will that is truly free. We're screwed only if we put blind faith in anyone or anything. My heroes, such as they are, are men who marry women with kids who are not their biological children yet love them and bring them up as though the kids are their biological offspring. That makes my late Dad and my brother-in-law my heroes, because that's what both of them did. And it makes one of my friends a hero, too, because she married a man with kids and did her best to be their stepmom. Way over and above what she had to do as a stepmom. We are so much more powerful than we may believe . They key is to trust ourselves and open our innate connection to our Creator.

I hate to admit it, but scavenged Playboy mags took up space between my mattress and box springs. Forbidden? Hell, bring it on! But as usual, you brought us all with you on a round trip to who our real heroes are. Amazing how you did that, and inspired more heroic acts from us all. BOOM!

I think we’re exactly the same age (Feb 1968 here), and I so identify with your Judy Blume story! My mom also freaked out any time I was exposed to something remotely sexual or just ‘adult’, but then never, not once, talked to me about sex. What was up with parents in the 70s? Weren’t they all supposed to be having key parties? You think they’d be more open. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Expand full comment

I was born in ‘65 so I too grew up in that era. I remember the ONE time my mother was finally forced to discuss sex with me when I was in high school (I had been caught making out with my boyfriend,) she told me that it was even possible to get pregnant sitting on a toilet seat. 🤣 And to never start because I won’t want to stop. What!!?? It was all about scaring me into abstinence. It didn’t work. We will always be drawn to “the forbidden.”There were much wiser and loving ways that would have worked to get me to make the choice for myself to hold off on having sex, and I used those ways with my own daughter who waited many, many years longer before her first encounter than I had by her own choice due to having truth and wisdom to chew on. Sadly those ways are never thought of or used by the majority of parents. They either throw condom birthday parties like today or scare us to death to even use a toilet that a boy used back then. 🙄 There seems to be no common sense or wisdom among the masses.

It seems there still are a ton of parents of that mindset. Thankfully perhaps less, but plenty still.

Hi Jenna, thank you for making me laugh every time I read your posts. Even tho I’m an Aussie , this is exactly my experience of 70s parenting!! I used to nick my mum’s Jackie Collins books. My parents had a bookshelf full of salubrious publications that they naively thought my sister and I wouldn’t touch! 😂

Now I’m 51 and still chasing down information people are trying to hide from me 😉

Thank you again friend for your hilarious writings. Much love.

Those foreign language books must be particularly laden with dynamite. I mean, the government of an ENGLISH-speaking country banning books in languages that, with the exception of the Spanish book, I'm not sure I recognize??!! We must find English copies of those and read them!
