Good for her! If I looked like that , I’d be naked all the time.😂 It’s doesn’t diminish women at all to me. Sex does sell and I find it amusing.

KatWarrior's avatar

Second that, Roberta! 💯❤️💣💰

Wait, what was the question?

I was hoping Novig (which I’ve never heard of!) sold sports stuff-like actual stuff to wear! Sign me up immediately! Credit card is burning 🔥 to spend money 💰

Jenna McCarthy's avatar

I checked and they don't even sell a single hoodie! Poor planning LOL! :)

Steve's avatar

Sorry, what was the question??? LOL!!!!

I think there's a facet to this that is similar to TDS. Trump has a lot of money and there are haters who are jealous because Trump has something they will never have. Similar thing with Sydney Sweeney. She has a lot of sex appeal and there are gonna be haters because she has what they will never have.

Valerie's avatar

I agree with this. Pure jealousy.

True. We have a huge problem with the envy culture. It gets passed off as something else but it really boils down to coveting others assets!

ConcernedCitUSA's avatar

Should have spelled that ass-ets. 😉

Brilliant advertising.

Gets people talking.

Shows the hypocritical views of the left brilliantly, best of all the company who she has worked for is going to do really well.

Plus she has big knockers.

I hadn't noticed. I was looking at her mind.

Never thought I'd say this, but she has a nice set of balls :)

PS..... Brilliant advertising too.

@Dave- said about every transgender athlete.

Biology explained. Men see boobs. Men act like boobs. Women tolerate men. Procreation ensues and the race persists.

I’m still trying to figure out why the WNBA exists. I guess as a minor league that no one has ever heard of, to feed players to the Olympics every 4 years…that makes sense, but not as a legitimate sport.

At least Danica Patrick drove with the men. There is no female professional NASCAR league where the women get to drive cars 3/4 as powerful, or a track 4/5 as large, or start from a line 20 yds closer to the finish. She ran the same race with the same car on the same track. Professional female shooters (gun and archery) do the same.

So forgive me when the same mental asterisk is applied to women’s opinions of what men should like as they conflict with what men actually like. There are women’s leagues for the protection of women so that they can excel and enjoy the sport, as they should be able to, but don’t expect me to treat it as the same thing as the men’s sport, which is the highest and best class of competition the sport ever sees…not a protected class with overpriced tickets.

Let me clear that up for you, Kid:

"The WNBA exists because... Sophie Cunningham and Caitlin Clark." My old dad planted the seed when he observed, during a women's college game, "I think women have the more elegant shooting motion." He could've been watching someone who looked like Sweeney I guess, but all women looked liked blobs (with an 'L') to me at the time anyway. Now they don't. For example, I can tell that Sweeney stands, if that's the word I'm reaching for, out from other women.

Ariarne Titmus called the campaign “a kick in the face to every woman who has dedicated her life to perfecting her craft”

Where does she stand on men in women's sports?

BINNNNNGO

Sophie Cunningham got together with Sydney Sweeney and said "I apologise; one of us left our tits at home". I think the reason the left is up in arms is because they hate any actual woman standing up for herself. It's just noise.

Who watches the most sports? Men. Who bets the most on sports? Men. Who enjoys looking most at beautiful, near naked or naked women? Men. Seems like a sports betting company picked the perfect target for their target audience.

I will admit that when I was in my late teens/early twenties, I didn't mind walking (strutting) down a beach in a skimpy swimsuit. And I wasn't selling anything.

Steven Bradford's avatar

Sydney Sweeney is hot, and the people criticizing her are not. Opinions are like a-holes; everybody has one, and social media has made us all acutely aware that they mostly stink.

rural counsel's avatar

But do we expect all those hyperventilating sportswomen and media shills will recognize their idiotic hypocrisy?

No.

No we will not.

Blatantly sexist IS brilliant advertising. Don't like that? Nobody with any intelligence who understands reality and human nature cares.

Novig is shamelessly using an extraordinary-looking body to sell something while ESPN--the Champion of All Women Everywhere--was celebrating bodies that do extraordinary things

...to sell some things.

Happily married (to a man) natural woman here. As I learned on my bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (menopause & osteoporosis "cured") journey, testosterone is a wild ride while they figure out the level that works for your body. When my testosterone was high, my mental willingness to do sketchy things taught me a lot about what makes men tick. "Regulation" was absolutely a challenge. Going through that brief experience gave more love and empathy for the male gender than ever.

ConcernedCitUSA's avatar

That women demand understanding and forgiveness for acting "hormonal" yet fail to understand that men have hormones too is inexcusable, self-centeredness.

Dr. Molly Rutherford's avatar

Yes. I hear this in my practice, from men and women. I think I have found the sweet spot with my dose, after 2 years.

Vee's avatar

lol! How is this a thing? A gambling company who makes money off of greed is also using hot naked women to grab more eyeballs for their platform. Isn't this what Vegas is?

Novig wins, but humanity loses a couple of points for this never ending circus.

“We want to be valued for what we can do, not what we look like,”

Yes, women wish to be valued for what they can do, but any woman who claims she doesn't value her beauty and the male appreciation it garners, is lying. In heaven's name, what is wrong with valuing all a woman is.

“Girls are simply wonderful. Just to stand on a corner and watch them going past is delightful. They don't walk. At least not what we do when we walk. I don't know how to describe it, but it's much more complex and utterly delightful. They don't move just their feet; everything moves and in different directions . . . and all of it graceful.”

- Robert Heinlein, Starship Troopers

Peter Andrew Nolan's avatar

“We want to be valued for what we can do, not what we look like”

Then women will be valued at nothing. The only thing women can DO that men can not is have babies and breast feed. Women can not even put a woman who makes a false rape allegation in jail. Women can literally do NOTHING useful other than have babies and breast feed.

Sounds like a highly effective ad targeting people most likely to participate in online betting (straight men). My husband gets excited when he sees "nudity" on a show we are streaming, and he turns 50 next month. Men love boobs. Shocking.

FLGenX's avatar

Mine too! Whenever the show “warning” comes up and says “nudity,” he says OOH TITTIES!! And I roll my eyes and smile. He’s 55. He does it Every. Single. Time. 😂

😂😂😂

My husband (66) would get along great with your husbands. :)

Dr. Molly Rutherford's avatar

Bless their hearts. So predictable. LOL

ConcernedCitUSA's avatar

That is some funny truth right there. 😆 That women demand understanding and forgiveness for acting "hormonal" yet fail to understand that men have hormones too is peak self-centered hypocrisy.
