That was last year. They have moved forward together with counseling, moved out of his childhood home he owned (I HATED that house because of the vibe it gave off. She had seen his deceased father's shadow numerous times and their toddler son would be talking to a particular corner of his room. This is important info for later) and into a new home of their own (with a crapton more room, I might add), and the knowledge that his 'very Christian' brother and SIL won't talk to them now because daughter had the actual nerve to confront her husband about infidelity AND his uncle quietly told her his father was worse, among other family secrets, and the brother and SIL thinking how dare he support a wife who would confront the man of the family!!! Honest.
So trust issues didn't work here. A very forceful woman and a man who knew he had a weakness and was grateful someone found out turned into a good thing.

@Mary Ann- HA! However, I received a Rubella vaccine in 5th grade. When I was pregnant with my first, turned out I didn't have any immunity at all. The day after he was delivered they gave me one. I reserched and apparently the batch we were given in fifth grade was useless. Perhaps my daughters got some from me but he didn't.
Sadly, the rubella vaccine does not pass on immunity (only the wild virus does that) to babies and sometimes the vaccinated end up getting vaccine induced measles.

Hi Laura Lee, My trust in the medical establishment ended in 1975 when I was told I had to have my appendix out IMMEDIATELY. After the operation, I woke up but didn't open my eyes because I heard the doctors talking. One doctor asked the doctor that performed the operation, how the operation went. The operating doctor said, "His white blood cells weren't high, but we did the operation anyway." (High white blood cells would mean the appendix was inflamed.) So, I got a useless operation that could have been avoided, a scar that I have to this day, 51 years later, and an appendix that the medical establishment years later said helps the body. With all the pain of surgery (since it was the old-fashioned type with a six inch incision on the right side of the lower body) I do believe this bordered on malpractice. But, just graduating from graduate school with no health insurance, poor as a church mouse, with an inadequate self-image, I just let it go. Ever since that time, Ronald Regan's quote, "Trust, but verify" has constantly been my motto.

I spoke with a pharmacist yesterday about chlorine dioxide, she said “I use it on my horses, but I would never suggest it for human use”.
These people should never be blindly trusted.
