Tonya, PBS and NPR have sadly turned into Corporate Media. I listen to NPR for at least 2 hours every day (and have done so for decades). Things changed in 2013 when the (then) U.S. government told NPR they need to start listening to what the "government" wants and needs if they want a government handout. Trump just said "to hell with NPR. Give them nothing". and be assured that in the background certain corporate interests are shoveling money behind the scenes to dictate NPR's agenda. They (like Wikipedia) sandwich in pure evil lies and omissions and twisted factoids in between genuine human interest stories. Why else would RFK be locked out of his own Wikipedia listing, and get NOTHING good from NPR? The man is trying to fix some very serious problems, but it's whittled down to the 2 people who died from "measles" (and absolutely no mention of co-morbidities or if they were even ever vaccinated or not! That's just the tip of the iceberg ...
Most of not all people are locked out of their own Wikipedia page and have been for years. They did a whole bit about it on the TV show The Newsroom. It happened because our members of Congress would instruct their aids to go in and change things about themselves that they didn't like (such as how they voted on certain issues), even if true.
During "CONVID" and probably after, NPR kept touting, " there's so much information out there. Trust us to sift through it all and bring you the facts." Yea, ok. Never listened to NPR again.
I watched it yesterday to see the Xi visit and speeches because our corrupt media refused to cover it being too busy making the story about them not being allowed in. So it has real value giving us all another option to get the truth/real news when the REAL fascists are refusing to air it.

the only thing I watch on YT is my workout videos. but once watched a vid on how to clean leaked ink out of my printer. some good channels on there like the Corbett Report but I prefer to watch on Rumble. while some can occupy themselves with melting down watching the elders in the public arena try to use these platforms, the rest of us can be busy rebuilding a sane society, all politics aside.
Right now I’m watching snd binging shows where Brits buy old chateaus in France and fix them. Binging. I can watch them on my Roku tv YT plus art things. We extricated ourselves from cable last year and I don’t miss it at all. Saved around $200 a month.
so glad we cut loose Comcast Xfinity a few months ago. besides sucking and being too expensive, I recently heard that that they have a new 'service' that can literally track where you are & what you are doing, inside your home! via the WiFi signals of all your devices. and that this thing called Xfinity Shield is super easy to hack into. another reason to hardwire everything and never, ever purchase a 'smart' appliances, Nest thermostat... etc. F that shit!
