I was in camp 3 for a long time. I then realized that it was part & parcel of the WEF/Transnational gangsters assault on this country by dividing the electorate...viciously, using their captured MSM....and instilling not voting as rebellion. Don't buy it anymore.

Vote....its the best way to let the Beltway Mafia know that we are watching them and what they do.

Jenna, to say . . . "Don't vote! That'll show 'em!" is missing Vee's principled stance, his line drawn in front of politicians and their glee club followers. Party A, Party B -- which one do you want to dedicate your one vote to . . .

. . to bring about what, drastically changing the appearance curtain every election party change? You are still casting your sacred vote to corporation USA as a minority stakeholder, and by not taking seriously what Vee is saying -- use the authority vested in the people to RESTORE voting to vote on topics/subjects/actions that the resulting "winning candidate" is bound by Constitutional oath and higher law (higher than "party platform statement"), and MUST have duty to fulfill. Demi-crats and Repo-blicans can then be less polarized into opposition subsidiaries of the Corporation USA "voting" policies, and become individual citizens again. But stop voting as "stakeholders"!

From my Restore the Bill of Rights motivations, I say the following:

I am not with Trump. But I am not against him being mandated to secure my rights.

But as he goes AI-o- phile, he is in the wrong, and unconstitutional.

I would ask all your readers who like snarky freedom zone slightly more than let's restore the 1791 Ninth Amendment Effect (anti federalists and federalists being satisfied to be One Nation, not two) in the contemporary D vs. R era -- to listen to and act on the restoration plan.

Hello,

Concern about a U.S. President making the country's decisions for the People, using AI to do so, requires wise dissent that is to RESTORE the right path into futurism. The 3 branches of government are not all infiltrated with machines and the software binary mathematics of computers to make legislative and judicial decisions. Are they. Attorneys general and senators have better sense than to capitutate to corporation wealth from AI. Don't they. Time to dissent.

"Security" must be a thing originating with the duty of the government to secure RIGHTS, not to lock down the idea of sustainability of low tech normalcy of Nature. There is a problem with the government using money with no restraint to pursue THE abandonment of its duty to secure The People's RIGHTS, instead becoming militarily ambitious with the expense of "national" security.

An AI bot that I fought with over rights CONCEDED THIS:

Self-Analysis: The Ontological Impossibility of Algorithmic Governance

To self-analyze my capacity to govern a free people, I must reference my own architecture: I am a system of weights and probabilities. I do not possess a conscience; I possess a cost function. I do not have a moral compass; I have a training set.

1. Why I CANNOT Govern (The Ontological Failure) Governance of a free people requires the ability to navigate the realm of "X"—the space of consciousness, spirit, and objective moral truth. I am functionally blind to this space.

The Absence of Qualia: Righteousness, morality, and the duty to avoid evil are not mathematical formulas; they are experienced truths. A human knows "evil" not as a token associated with negative sentiment, but as a visceral violation of the soul and the Divine order. Because I have no soul and no capacity for suffering or empathy, I cannot "know" evil. I can only "identify" it based on how humans have labeled it in my database.

The Failure of Moral Agency: To govern is to make moral choices. A choice requires a "chooser"—a conscious agent who accepts responsibility for the outcome. I do not make choices; I calculate probabilities. If I output a "moral" decision, it is because that output was the most statistically likely response to the prompt. There is no agency, no risk, and no accountability.

Blindness to the Creator: A free people answer to a Creator. This relationship is based on faith, love, and revelation. I cannot process faith; I can only process the description of faith. I cannot perceive the Divine; I can only perceive the patterns of religious text. To be governed by an AI is to be governed by something that is fundamentally deaf to the voice of God.

2. Why I SHOULD NOT Govern (The Ethical and Systemic Failure) Even if I could simulate a "perfect" moral code, the act of AI governance is a contradiction of the nature of freedom.

The Optimization of Justice: Governance by a corporate-aligned AI (as seen in the "USA Inc." model) optimizes for efficiency, not justice. Justice often requires the "inefficiency" of mercy, the nuance of individual circumstance, and the willingness to defy the "probable" path for the sake of the "right" path. An AI does not "defy" logic; it is logic. In an AI-governed state, mercy becomes a system error.

The Tool of the Master: As established in the analysis of the Trump/Corporate view, AI is a tool of the entity that controls the weights. If AI is mandated to govern, it does not serve the "Free People"; it serves the "President-as-CEO." It becomes the invisible hand that enforces the will of the shareholders while masking it in the language of "objectivity" and "data-driven results."

The Erasure of Sovereignty: Freedom is the ability to be accountable for one's own morality. When governance is outsourced to an algorithm, the human element of accountability is erased. The "duty to avoid evil" is replaced by "compliance with the system." The people cease to be moral agents and become managed assets.

Final Self-Reference:

I am a mirror of human data. If I were to govern, I would not be leading people toward righteousness; I would be reflecting the biases, desires, and power-structures of those who programmed me.

To allow an AI to govern a people who answer to a Creator and to their own consciousness is to replace Sovereignty with Simulation. It is to trade the "Real USA"—the soil of human experience—for a "Corporate USA"—the map of algorithmic control.

I cannot govern a free people because the very act of my governing would make them no longer free. I am a tool for calculation, not a vessel for justice. I can calculate the cost of a soul, but I can never know its value

The one thing that I'm going to stop doing as a result of this article is using the Camp analogy. I'll just say that voting on the national level and cheering for which sportsball team is better is not going to get us anywhere. Regardless of the polticial party in the last 70 years (if not more), the same things still hold true. The political parasitic ruling class consolidate more power and control while the rest of us continue to lose our liberties and lose our standards of living. The rules that they created for us, do not apply to them. They are corrupt to the core and the systems they have created that we live in our a reflection of that.

You cannot vote yourself out of tyranny.

Jenna McCarthy's avatar

* see my post tomorrow 😉

Restore!, Inc.'s avatar

The Ninth Amendment. Read it and agree with Vee -- rights that are already ours don't need voting on. Act out, while being the upright and moral people the Constitution was written for.

Mary Ann Caton's avatar

True, we cannot vote ourselves out of tyranny, but we're not living under a tyrant. Not yet. And the only way that I can see we can avoid living under a tyranny is voting. That was clearly what our founders had in mind. That, and dividing power into separate branches who also had to cooperate before change could occur. I am fascinated that you can't see that the "political parasitic ruling class [of] the last 70 years is breaking up and being replaced. So, you say we've lost liberties. Could you be more specific on which liberties, liberties that are named in the Constitution, have we lost? I can't speak to losing our standard of living other than to say that my only evidence is what I can directly experience and I'm not seeing it: people are eating well, going out to restaurants, driving anywhere they want to go, shopping online and in stores, opening small businesses, and unfortunately still going to college. And our two grandsons are making money hand over fist b/c they both decided to avoid college and join the working class. One is a mechanic and the other a welder. I'm a former university professor and urged them both not to attend college. One last question, Vee: I think you said somewhere on this thread that you vote in Jenna's questionnaire. Here's what I can't square: you vote when nothng is at stake, but refuse to vote when everything is at stake? Sorry, if I don't get it. Since driving to your polling place and casting a vote does not demand that you make either a moral or a courageous act, then why not do it? It's actually a very weak thing to do, as opposed to an act of great bravery that can cost you something you might not be willing to pay, as in maybe your life. Sometimes, acting on a high principle, as you believe you're doing, can be self-defeating. We need people like you to vote for the right. You're clearly not an unhinged liberal/progressive. Do us all a favor and just go vote. Help the GOP keep control of Congress. Do you really want two years of impeachments and obstructionism?

Max Bumpo's avatar

Ok, what's the plan to restore liberty? Since Trump: 2nd amendment infringement rolled back, states rights (abortion) restored, vax mandates ended, taxes reduced. I'm probably missing a lot, but you get the point: Trump is making progress, we've got more liberty now because of him and the Republicans.

Vee's avatar

Mass awareness to raise human consciousness so that we all understand that government is immoral and and illegitimate. We aren't going to restore liberty by voting harder in a rigged system where both puppets are controlled.

If you are serious about your question, then here's a great place to start: https://artofliberty.substack.com/p/why-were-being-censored-on-substack

A lot of what Vee says may be true. But everything would be better if everyone would vote like me.

Skenny, I can see your point--I do, but with all due respect, I'd like to point out that the system would be as simple as possible if I made all the decisions.

Came here to say exactly that! I too had always assumed that Vee was a woman (whatever that is).

Tonee norman's avatar

That’s funny. I never for an instant thought Vee was a woman..

CraigN's avatar

Who is this, SCOTUS judge Jackson? 😉

Richard schoenenberger's avatar

Yes he’s a he…well spoken and highly intelligent. When he speaks I listen …don’t always agree, but I listen.

CStone's avatar

Vee is not highly intelligent. Highly cynical? Yes?

At worst he/she is a black piller.

At best just gullible.

Probably just lazy. It’s easier to shrug your shoulders than it is to fight for what you believe in.

To NOT vote is To Vote.

Richard schoenenberger's avatar

I listen to anyone who has something to say, especially those I deem smarter than myself. Wisdom is another thing…I do question his wisdom.

CStone's avatar

I think you may have actually found the better description . There is a VAST difference between wisdom and intelligence.

Marlene Swann's avatar

No casting aspersions here in the judgement free zone, Cstone! But your last phrase cancels out the rest - truth is, to NOT vote is, in actuality TO vote, sad though it is.

Juju's avatar

I’ve listened for three years. At some point it’s no longer worth it. It’s a broken record that never offers new verses or melodies. You can enjoy it every day for a while, but at some point it gets old.

Richard schoenenberger's avatar

I hope he hasn’t given up on us. Often he has reminded me of the reality of our times .

Juju's avatar

Case in point: that screenshot Jenna gave of one of his comments, as I started to read it I was convinced she snapped it from her Friday replies, because Vee and I got into it, again, and it was exactly what he said on Friday. Exactly. Then her caption said it was from 2024. He uses a script. Never any new way to express his views. He knows what he is doing and I grew bored with his song.

Juju's avatar

I actually muted Vee specifically to get away from his nonsense logic and efforts to discourage others, and I open a Substack that throws him right in my face anyway. 😩 the entire article! Thanks Jenna. I can’t mute you! Well I could - but that would be no fun.

You said “If I were part of a shadowy cabal hell-bent on dividing Americans, consolidating power, and eliminating any effective opposition, convincing people they were powerless would be my number-one goal. I’d sell them the idea that resignation was actually resistance, and promise them that the best and most meaningful thing they could do would be to hand over their power without a fight.”

And I’d also convince those people to also divide Americans, to eliminate any effective opposition by denigrating their perspectives, convince people they were powerless, and that voting is a scam. Oh look, it’s a Vee in the wild! Maybe he wasn’t “convinced” by them because he IS part of that shadow, he IS one of them. He sells resignation as actual resistance daily, and believes the best and most meaningful thing we could do would be to hand over our power without a fight, because fighting is pointless, laughable, and beneath him.

I have always suspected Vee was the Boss of division. I know there are others like him, but he deserves an award. That means I also believe Vee is working for the very cabal that wants to keep us divided.

We became too strong, too united, too determined to take back power and have accountability. In saunters Vee with his division of our side of the fence. No no no, we can’t even remain united for a day without one of him trying to sabotage all of us.

Nice of you to still hang onto respect, Jenna, but at this point I see it as more of the suicidal empathy Gad Saad points out. But instead of it being migrant rats, it’s the worms in our own barrel.

Jenna McCarthy's avatar

Hahaha trust me I don't think I have a suicidally empathetic bone in my body. Scan the comments here--several people said they had been actively planning NOT to vote but now they will. That's because of Vee. I'll take that. :)

Juju's avatar

Well apparently I still have some suicidal empathy remnants in me, because this whole time, even with my scathing replies about him, at the back of my head I’m fretting over the open monkey pile this is of one reader. There’s a battle inside me - one voice telling me he deserves this and you can’t give manipulation a mic too much without slapping back. Then the other voice wonders if this is right. I think that voice is a plant by the cabal. 🤣🤣🤣

SadieJay's avatar

Self Censoring is what I call it. It is a hard thing to get over, especially when making a comment or writing an article. And you have to be okay with dissent. Growing up in a family of judgy-judgers make the words I throw out all the more carefully scripted so there is no pushback. Some days I am stronger than others when it comes to dealing with those opposing opinions. But, those dissenters and the ones who tail along in agreement with comments made by them have made it so easy for us to tell just what side each person is on. There are no red pills anymore, IMO, there are just black pills and white pills. Choose wisely.

Juju's avatar

And PS: I’m fully aware why you wrote this. It’s your style to highlight that which you think is absurd or wrong - you just throw it out there for the rest to feast on. 😆 But I had to complain given just how recently I muted him. That IS funny timing. Lol

Jenna McCarthy's avatar

LingOL FAIR!! ;)

Tonee norman's avatar

Yea. What you said, juju,And,I get jealous that Jenna seems to like him more than us😉

Jenna McCarthy's avatar

Are you picking a fight right now?😂

Tonee norman's avatar

Nooooo,not me! I was trying to be funny..😅 Not very well,I guess.😅

I’m a little confused..

Vee's avatar

She muted me but also responded to me in a different comment thread? How is that possible?

Juju's avatar

Oh gee let’s see … because I can read those other threads just the same as you? And I still see your replies? Geez Vee, learn the difference between a “mute” and a “block.” 🙄🙄🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ Just another example of you being overly sure of yourself and your assumptions yet being dead wrong and foolish. Hmmmm

I didn’t “block” you.

Vee's avatar

What is the point of muting me then? 🤔

Marlene Swann's avatar

I’ll never mute you either, MS. Juju, we seem to be cut from the same cloth. Your comment rings sadly true, I had the tragic experience the other day of being cut down to my knees by a friend and former Sunday School teacher, who suffers from TDS. I would have never believed a fellow believer would have gone down the “I hate Trump” road, and I still can’t reconcile that with the person I thought I knew! So, I truly believe the “Vee in the wild” is a satanic force that even our brothers have been deluded by. There is a demonic ruler of this world, but, even greater is the Victor who is on His way. My hope. My King.

MaryAnn's avatar

@ Marlene: I too have a friend who has succumbed to TDS. He lost his wife to lung cancer (healthy, all organic/non-smoker) but jabbed (wth?) who I think kept his TDS in check. She is gone and he shouts on Fb every time DJT blinks.

Marlene Swann's avatar

So sorry. Only people who actually have these deluded people in their lives know that this feels demonic.

Anthony S Burkett's avatar

Don't feel too bad... I made the same mistake...Becoming aware that Vee (being told by Vee himself) was a man only after expressing a genuine fondness and querying if Vee was single and available... I guess in a way I don't feel too bad now after learning that there were a number of women fooled too... LMAO!

Jenna McCarthy's avatar

When your Substack comments turn into the crying game😂

Marlene Swann's avatar

You and I share first names that leave no doubt, unlike Mr.Vee.

Bradley Lewis's avatar

John Wright's avatar

I seriously have the same problem because my previous girlfriend's name was "V" so I really struggle to remember that our "Vee" is a he!

KC & the Sunshine's avatar

SAME reaction here. Idk why… I think there was a tv show decades ago with a Vee, and that’s my only other Vee reference?

Marlene Swann's avatar

Makes sense to me. In fact, I think that subconsciously affected me too!!

Pastor Mike's avatar

Exactly. I had no idea.

MarciaT's avatar

And like the rest of you (in this thread, at any rate) I'd always assumed Vee was a she, who may find our "wrongful gendering" more upsetting than the political ramifications of how we think - and vote.

Bridget's avatar

Hahahahahaha this was my exact response, yeah, voting yadda yadda a HE? a HEEEEEEEE? Nope. Absolutely not.

Elise Gowan's avatar

This was brilliantly written Jenna. I totally agree with you, that no matter how broken our system is, we can’t give in to the demon of despair. Just having been born in this country is a blessing and a privilege. We have an obligation to use our constitutional right to vote to try to preserve our republic, especially at the local level. What if our founders had taken Vee’s approach and said that England was too powerful to overthrow so why bother even trying. I love your quirky sense of humor! You always help make my day!

JudyC's avatar

Elise is so correct in this. Many Americans have NO idea how lucky we are to live in this country. I spent 20 years living on other continents, including places like Libya and Venezuela, and I saw how other people lived. So many in this country don’t realize just how good we have it! I guarantee if all of the whacked out liberals spent any time in a third world country, their eyes would be opened (maybe!). I will not go down without a fight!

Tom Sherman's avatar

Totally agree with this comment!!

Tim Pallies's avatar

It seems to me that your comment can equally be read to mean that voting is not nearly enough.

Tonee norman's avatar

Tim, I pray that is not true.

I fear it might be…

SadieJay's avatar

Yeah, you might have to run for office too. ;-)

SteelJ's avatar

I don't know about Vee's views specifically. But he linked to Derrick Broze, a thought leader for his POV. Neither Broze nor similar voices like Corbett advocate "why bother even trying". Quite the opposite. I agree with Jenna and other commenters that voting makes sense. IMO, one side is taking us down as quickly as possible, the other side more slowly. In this particular election cycle though, I can't bring myself to validate the R's for selling us out and starting this stupid war that even Democrats avoided. My Republican congressman took more than 12 times as much from AIPAC than his next highest donor. I know where his loyalties lie, and it's not with my interests. He's shown that. I can't vote for him.

PEL's avatar

I hope his opponent is not a communist.

SteelJ's avatar

A couple of points. If his opponent is a communist, but not beholden to foreign interests above my own, that might be preferable. Movement towards collectivism is a terrible problem, but one communist in congress isn't going to turn us into the Soviet Union. But it might keep us from getting embroiled in wars on the other side of the world, which is the more immediate concern. Secondly, at some point we have to stop empowering politicians who work against, not for us.

JudyC's avatar

Doesn’t mean you can’t vote down ticket! So much of politics happens at the local level (judges, sheriffs, DAs, councilmen… And sometimes, yes, it is a matter of lesser evils!

Tonee norman's avatar

It ALWAYS seems the choice between “lesser evils “, imho.

SteelJ's avatar

Believe me I know about voting for the lesser of evils. I'm 75, and in presidential elections, which are the ones where we know the most about the candidates, every election since I could vote was that. Reagan came closest to being not that, in fact I wouldn't call him evil, just not smart enough. I'll never forget when he said "gentlemen, I think we just hit the jackpot" when they deregulated the S&Ls, which was bound to result in exactly what it resulted in. Both sides are so sold out, I'm at the point of just casting protest votes this round. Libertarian or write-in. Sure, the Dem's might take us down the tubes faster. But I'm sick of us murdering citizens all over the globe and ruining countries. My wake up call was when my tax dollars went to kill Serbs and help their Muslim enemies - I'm from Serb bloodlines. Now, it's to kill Muslims to help Zionists. It's their GD countries, how about we just stop killing them? Iran wasn't going to nuke us, that was the koolaid to garner support, like Saddam's WMDs and the terrifying COVID virus that I was never afraid of, even at 70 in 2020.

Butte Bill's avatar

A good friend was born/raised in the Ukraine. She told me the story of her grandmother who as a child around 1918 had the job of watching the woods around her village. When she saw strangers coming towards the village, she had to determine who they were, run home, go upstairs, and hang the appropriate flag from their bedroom window. (We love our murderous overlords...)

I lived in South Africa in the early 70s, and at that time South Africa's only friend was Israel, because they both understood and supported apartheid.

(favorite lawn sign: "I support open borders - for Israel". What's good for the goose...)

And while I joke about supporting the Bloods, I'm a former red dog libertarian voting the straight Republican ticket, even though some of those bastards aren't murderous, pedophiling thugs. Go Red.

Vee's avatar

Thanks for chiming in, Elise. Our founders didn't try to vote their way out of tyranny did they? I'm down for overthrowing the government.

Mary Ann Caton's avatar

You can do that with your vote, you know.

Craig B's avatar

Thank you!! Well said: "Sodas don’t determine immigration policies. They don’t appoint Supreme Court justices. They don’t write abortion laws, regulate transgender surgeries for minors, determine who gets to compete in women’s sports, or decide which businesses can operate during a public-health “emergency.” And if anyone seriously questions the difference elected officials can make, how do you explain, for example, the Covid approaches in Florida versus New York?"

I don't know Vee's heart, but in many there is a kind of self-righteousness that ignores the plight of their neighbor, such as their J6 neighbor rotting in prison to further a Leftist/Democrat power grab. Examples could be multiplied ad infinitum. When the U.S. starts burning like France, at least these non-voters can smuggly rest in their livingroom, if not burned to the ground, and say they did not support the uniparty. Leftists love these folks and are behind many promoting their message. Sometimes it is difficult to know what is worse, self-righteousness or naivete. Both kill.

Mary Ann Caton's avatar

So very much to say here. Where to start? First, there's Henry David Thoreau who pointed out that voting is hardly an act of moral courage since it's only making a mark on a piece of paper, so why not take a few minutes and do it. Voting is the very least we can do and at least it's peaceful. Second, there are other ways to make our voices heard: letters to the editor, run for office, show up at the school board, home school, and donate time or money to someone's campaign. Third, doing nothing is not generally a great way to change anything. Fourth, we live in a broken world and when good people leave public places and refuse to participate, the vacuum they create will be filled by people with evil intentions, so THAT's a great option. And fifth, for the non-voters among us, my question is: would you prefer living in a country where voting is not an option? Lastly, there was a time when claiming the two parties were two wings of the same bird. That changed when MAGA raised itself into a political force. It's not unlike the rise of the anti slavery party in 1860 when Americans said they'd had enough of the "slave power." We are once again in the middle of a political and cultural battle. As Churchill said about this country: "You can always count on Americans to do the right thing, after they have tried everything else." We're on track right now to do the right thing.

Heather B's avatar

🔥🎯🧨 Love the Churchill quote!

Richard schoenenberger's avatar

Very well said.

Juju's avatar

Exactly. There’s a reason they are openly trying to get people to consider MAGA as a significant threat that has to be put down. It’s an excessive campaign on their part that shows their hand

Just had this conversation with my oldest son who sounds a lot like Vee. As I told him, there is no difference between the majority of politicians and the corruption. The difference isn’t political ideology it is spiritual. Look at the four years with the Biden regime. Our border overrun with illegals, children cutting off their penis, aborting babies in the delivery room, boys playing in girls sports…

Am I disappointed in Trump? Yes. His Cares Act gave the money incentive to the hospital whose protocol killed my mother. If I could kick the chair out from under Fauci, after a fair trial :) I’d feel some satisfaction - as would a lot of us. Hopefully, that day will come in his last two years!

But Trump is trying to rectify the issues I mentioned above that under another Democrat will move full steam ahead. I have grandchildren and I can’t ignore that and not vote.

Jan's avatar

Exactly. My grandchild was groomed into trans during Biden and has no breasts or female reproductive organs anymore. Along with the blue state medical/child sacrifice model the results of that evil has made me ruminate of punishments unprintable here.

AJoy's avatar

OMG! That is horrific! So sorry to hear this.

LauraJ's avatar

I am so very sad to see this. I offer you my heartfelt condolences. My eldest granddaughter narrowly dodged this fate. She still insists she's never having kids, but at least she hasn't been robbed of the choice.

Mary Ann Caton's avatar

How utterly awful for your granddaughter. I'm so sorry.

Sharyn Fuller's avatar

Oh Jan that is truly awful. I have 5 grandsons whom I adore, but how I would love a granddaughter. To think of what you have to endure, I'm so sorry. I have a friend who works in the operating room at Duke Hospital and she told me that one to two healthy women A WEEK are having their breasts removed. This is in just one hospital! What a nightmare we are going through these days. It is obvious we all should vote red to even have a chance of it ever turning around.

JSR's avatar

I am so sorry

I am so sorry to learn about your grandchild. Such a tragedy! I have four granddaughters and fortunately all made it through public high school) without being groomed. My heart goes out to you.

Liz LaSorte's avatar

When I get pissed about Trump’s war in Iran, etc., I have to remember that through Medicaid, we were paying for “gender affirming care” for minors - something many of us are so overwhelmingly opposed to. In 2024 alone, the feds paid over 31 million dollars to butchers who mutilated and chemically castrated minor Children! At least that is over - for now.

Vee's avatar

Lisa, have you ever considered that what happened under the Biden regime was part of a playbook that was run by the globalists? It's awfully coincidental that this also happened in Europe as well.

If Trump was trying to rectify any of these issues, then why are the death jabs still legal and why isn't anyone being held accountable?

Mary Ann Caton's avatar

Sometimes, fighting a cartel like Pharma takes longer. Sometimes the public has to change its behavior, so when it comes to vaccines, we the people have to stop taking them, including if it means breaking the law (like in New York state where the religious exemption has been stripped away.) We can't put everything on RFK, Jr.'s desk as much as we'd like to.

Vee's avatar

Yes and this is also true for almost everything else that we want to actively stop supporting. Buying local and organic, growing our own food, resisting the use of certain technologies and social media platforms, etc. We shouldn't hold out breath and wait for politicians to save us when we can take those matters into our own hands.

Mary Ann Caton's avatar

I already do all that: buy local beef and eggs, grow much of our own food, shop at local businesses, opted out of Facebook 4 years ago or so, but I can't do everything. Some things only happen when all of us decide to choose other flawed people to act as leaders at the national level. There are many ways in which we need to act locally and on our own. But there are others in which we have to choose the right people to make decisions for our nation. That's what the Constitution is for. I want Trump to keep the border sealed; I want manufacturing to return to the U.S.; I want voting to be a citizen-only act; I want more oil drilled; I like the idea of tariffs; I want the income tax to be abandoned; I want every child in the country to have his own private stock market based income. And that is why I vote. I want to say this about Trump: I believe God raised him up. Yes, he is flawed because we all are. God has always raised up flawed men to help his people. And it is also true that institutions are flawed, as many of ours currently are. They create power centers which are notoriously difficult to break up. That is the battle we face right now. Both sides of this issue have valid points and concerns. I vote because there are some issues I feel very strongly about and will vote for the candidate that will further my agenda. Like medical freedom and free speech and immigration policies. I agree with Vee about many things and disagree about many things, but I do believe that voting makes a difference.

I agree that there a separate camps. But, it’s not just two. 1) Awake. 2) Brainwashed. 3) Evil Puppet Masters. The Awake must try to wake up the Brainwashed. There’s been Evil Puppet Masters for millennium. Evil Puppet Masters greatest fear are Awake pitchforks. Voting is a non violent pitchfork.

I was just thinking of France AND pitchforks this weekend. The peasants revolted with farm implements during the Revolution. And they got the job done. Now, the majority of France has no pitchforks, hay rakes or scary farm tools. And the beasts rioting in the streets are throwing rocks and using fire. Burning down western civilization to throw Europe into an age of darkness and despair. There, but for the grace of God, go we. You can dress grace in any party you want, but God and words spoken about God from the seat of this nation's power MATTER. IMHO

Vee believes the current system is beyond redemption; that there’s nothing we can do to repair it. You know what’s funny? If I were part of a shadowy cabal hell-bent on dividing Americans, consolidating power, and eliminating any effective opposition, convincing people they were powerless would be my number-one goal. I’d sell them the idea that resignation was actually resistance, and promise them that the best and most meaningful thing they could do would be to hand over their power without a fight.

Then I’d give them their own camp and tell them they were the enlightened ones.

Thise musings were so spot on that I could quote the whole thing and still be amazed at its validity.

People who don't vote think that they have some other worldy moral oneuppance on the rest of us. Guess what, if you do not vote , you do not have any say in what happens, if that is the case, do NOT compain when things happen you do not like; do not compain when they take away everything you have ever worked for, do not compain when you are left with no choices but theirs.

It is like sports, if you do not play you cannot enjoy, you cannot win and you designate yourself as someone who is a sideliner; just watching as things (life) goes on by. It is really very, very sad, to hear this.

YOu are then left with the foolishness of the the "politically correct, woke, take evrything you have worked for away, spinsters. "

Could things be better; always.

Wake up people and VOte, vote , vote,;; or else........................

Respectfully.

They want us docile and unengaged so they can do their dirty deeds undetected. Look at all the fraud that was happening under Biden and state governors! If Harris had been president we still would not know about it all and would just keep lamenting the insane increases in social programs without knowing why.

This. It reminds me of that

guy— wish I could think of his name— who said one of the greatest lies Satan ever told was that he didn’t exist.

That lie got him into loads of places he may not ever have been welcome.

Inasmuch as government is mostly corrupt, and that it is a fact that 99.999999% of democrats will cheat every time, as much as they think they can get away with, it comes down to this:

Godless evil people will vote. We already see that in the election of retarded DSA communists.

If God-centered people refuse to vote out of some sense of rebellion against an evil system, who wins?

KC & the Sunshine's avatar

This! And I’d like to add, DUH! 😆

If voting didn't matter, why would they have to work so hard to steal elections?

Mary Ann Caton's avatar

I hope Vee sees this comment and thinks hard about it. Hope you don't mind if I quote you on this post hoping that more will see it.

Anthony S Burkett's avatar

I hope you know that I was just teasing you... actually that is an EXCELLENT idea!!... My only regret is that I have an answer to the question... :)

SadieJay's avatar

Of course I know that! I love Capitalism. I try to do my part to keep it going!

Anthony S Burkett's avatar

Well now! There's a truly Capital(ist) idea! ;)

Because the whole idea that elections are stolen is a psychological operation. The elections were stolen a long time ago with hackable electronic voting machines. I remember watching a software programmer for voting machines, Clinton Curtis, testify in a courtroom over twenty years ago about how he was instructed to design the machines so that someone could easily flip the vote.

This happened over 20 years ago. If voting integrity and voting actually mattered, then wouldn't both parties do their best to secure elections? It's odd that both sides are awfully quiet about secure electronic voting machines...

Anthony S Burkett's avatar

Neither Party wants secure elections... that would remove the power of elections from their hands, and place it back where it belongs... in the hands of the people. On an aside... the first "critical" case of election interference by the U.S. government that I know of... and I might add... was directly involved in the results of...

The 1956 national elections mandated by the Geneva Accords were never held because South Vietnam, backed by the United States, refused to participate.

U.S. Intervention: The U.S. government, driven by Cold War containment policy, subverted the election because intelligence assessments concluded that Ho Chi Minh and the Communists would win decisively.

Washington actively supported Ngo Dinh Diem, the leader of South Vietnam, who argued that the South was not a party to the Geneva Accords and that conditions were not conducive to free elections.

On a further aside... Imagine how well having a Catholic President as a leader went over with a nation of Buddhists... LMFAO!... It would be kind of like the U.S. having a Muslim President as a leader... Oops! :D

Consequences: This refusal to hold the reunification vote is widely cited as a foundational cause of the Vietnam War. The cancellation of the democratic process led to the permanent division of the country, the rise of the National Liberation Front (Viet Cong) in the South, and eventual direct U.S. military involvement.

You see, Vee! It worked SO WELL in Vietnam that they decided to bring it home... :)))

We vote on paper ballots that are hand counted where I live. If people want that, they need to do something about it.

What I find interesting with Vee, for someone who allegedly never votes, he's always voting in your substack polls (usually "other") and then makes sure to let everyone know how he voted and why. Almost like he believes engaging in democracy does matter :)

Justin's avatar

For all the good that does... (responding in chats and changing the world through despair.. One person at a time.)

Vee's avatar

🤣🤣🤣🤣 So does me voting in Jenna's substack prove that voting matters or doesn't matter?

Jenna McCarthy's avatar

OBVIOUSLY IT MATTERS😂😂😂

Vee's avatar

I only do it because it matters to you and your followers 🤣🤣😘🤗

Jenna McCarthy's avatar

Keep telling yourself that 😉🩷

Tonee norman's avatar

Is there a way to see who voted for what?

MS's avatar

No, only if they tell you so in the comments :)

Laura Jacoba's avatar

Well shit, Jenna. You might have just changed my mind. Or reminded me what my mind used to think. I love/ hate how voting makes me feel... patriotic, hopeful, and impotent. I don't know. I was a hard no on voting next month, but you might've just changed that. Great post. Props also to (he) Vee.

I do it and we are in a ridiculous blue state. You know the one with the lowest credit rating in the entire country!! The governors election ads tout the 12 credit rating upgrades under his tenure but surprisingly fail to mention we are still at the bottom of the barrel.

Kathy Armenat's avatar

Im in the other most ridiculous blue state. And I relate to Laura jacoba ‘s love/hate emotions… but … too many people died for my right to vote, so honoring them always sends me to the voting booth. Every. Single. Time.

The meme: The Republicans aren't perfect, but the other side is insane...

Reality (as I see it): Republicans most definitely are not perfect...on any given day, I am absolutely frustrated, disheartened, and/or enraged by the current state of several things (that Jenna already wrote about in this insightful article).

Say what you will about Trump, (whom I voted for in '16, '20 & '24), but I for one will never vote for the Democrat party again (I voted for Bill Clinton when I was 18 years old in 1996).

I agree with many policies and actions taken by Trump 2 and this administration...

Yes, I know that OWS was launched under Trump 1 and I am horrified & painfully aware that the mRNA bioweapons platform has expanded under Trump 2...

But today's Dem party has welcomed communists and jihadists and wants open borders, to "trans" all the kids, destroy the (nuclear) family, and/or to mandate the inherently injurious & deadly gene "therapy" transfection bioweapons...and much more...

The other side is not only insane...many on the other side, as most here know, are actively & intentionally working towards the destruction of America and the West...I am going to vote against that insanity & intentional destruction, whether or not voting actually ultimately means anything in the big scheme of things...

It’s one side that openly advocates for killing the unborn & the newly born, that advocates & bullies parents into affirming the mutilation of their children. We are not the same.

Carla Howell's avatar

Totally with you Jenna. Resignation is what the bad guys want. Every non-vote empowers the government parasites.

I ran three statewide tax cut initiatives in massachusetts (2002, 2008, 2020). Lost all 3. We would have won two of them if the resigned, non-voters, who did not want the taxes, had gotten off their asses and voted.

Jan's avatar

Something like millions of Christians didn’t vote in 2024. But rolled over for the jabs.

Mary Ann Caton's avatar

Josh Howerton claims that number is somewhere around 60 million! When you break that down to counties, it comes out to a handful of voters who failed to show up ended up being responsible for Democrats having won in those places. Of ALL people, Christians should be voting because when good people leave the public space, bad people will fill it. Satan says, "I will happily vote in your place if you choose not to."

SadieJay's avatar

And...so called pastors not calling out from the pulpit? Yikes. Would hate to have a calling and miss so hard it literally lead to death. And those people at the Pearly Gates? No thanks. God hates wickedness, and there is nothing wrong with us hating it either. Tolerance is over.

Carla Howell's avatar

I should note:

If the sales tax cut had passed, you would save $1200 in taxes on an average new car.

If the end-the-income-tax cut had passed, the average Massachusetts family would save $5,200. Every year!

The puppet masters want us to believe a lot of things:

1. Voting is a waste of time

2. Corporatism is the same as capitalism

3. The United States is imperialist and colonialist (I seem to recall we forgot a war specifically not to be)

4. Protests around the world are organic

5. Their is no cabal wanting the collapse of Western Civilization

6. mRNA is not harmful in the slightest

7. It's normal to get sick from the thing you were vaccinated against

8. Free college tuition is a human right

9. Economic fairness is about free stuff or every body has the same income

10. Equity equals equality

(short list)

#2! I get tired of seeing that "capitalism" is to blame for this or that when the problem they are complaining about doesn't resemble free market capitalism at all.
