Great post. I'm running for Republican Committeeman of my tiny ward and district in extremely blue, insanely "progressive" West Philadelphia. I have nineteen constituents. But I'm doing something! Working to get more former Dems to switch not to just independent but actually register Republican so we can do something.
What we need is to get the law changed so that independents can vote under the same circumstances as party affiliates. As a lifelong independent, I only registered Republican so that I could vote in the midterms. I was was too naïve to register Democrat and vote Republican anyway, to avoid the ostracism of my mask-wearing, vaxxed-to-the-maxxed democrat relatives.
When Democrats control congress, it's a madhouse of activity, with lawfare predominating the halls. When Republicans control it, it's as quiet as a monastery, even on the occasions when they are present. It's hard to understand.
The Democratic Party is now the Islamo-Communist Party. Destroy America is their Goal. Brainwashed Democratic voters have no clue. IMO, I don't think Democratic voters will turn out for the Mid Terms. So, Democrats must cheat, to regain power. IMO, Republican voters will turn out, in sufficient numbers to block the Destroy America agenda. The real Mid Term race will be Islamo-Communist Election Fraud vs. the Trump Administration's Election Fraud prevention.

I am amazed by the psychosis I see surrounding voting these days. I used to be one of them. Not able to understand how someone could vote for 'the other party'. The recent elections made it much more noticeable. The DNC appointing Harris as the candidate without a single vote from any citizens and people still voting for her. If a Libertarian wins, the allegiance to one of the corrupt two parties ends. They both swear an oath to uphold the part before voters. That right there makes them unqualified for office. Once one third party candidate gets significant votes, others will gain popularity. It will also cause the two parties to realize they need to care about the voters a little more. Voting for the lesser evil does nothing to regain allegiance to voters.

What I can never figure out is how conservatives fail to see Libertarian ideology has more in common with Democrats than Republicans.
