I think he just has a different model; he knows that some people can easily afford it and some really can't justify another $6/mo. 6/7 posts and the ability to comment for free is plenty generous.

I agree with your dad. I watch them also for entertainment, how far they go to lie, how superficial their reporting is and how they miss most really important news. Lately, they've been veering into weather people - Who knew that was the biggest news. Tragic amateurs all of them.
