My hope is that Trump’s lawsuits will literally end big media’s narrative switching. Now, if he could just end Democrat narrative nonsense.
Btw, Jenna, I worried about you all day yesterday when your post didn’t appear. It’s such an interesting phenomenon to worry about someone you don’t know and probably will never meet. But here we are….
I was literally ready to call the DMV to see if somehow you pulled the unlucky "Now Serving" number, but were afraid to drive back home without your newly issued government surveillance identifying proof certificate, aka: licence.
We were all so glad you made it back safe.
Bet you can't wait for autonomous vehicles. No driver required.
in on her and thought better of it, imagining four hundred fifty something people electronically tapping her shoulder, “Are you ok, because we have needs, ya know!” 😉
Same here, Jenna. I had a busy hectic morning, so I didn’t look for your stack until later in the day! Nada! Then it magically appears in my inbox. Phew 😌
I am currently on east coast time, so it’s a bit weird having to wait until almost 8 am!
This is part of my morning ritual. Coffee, snuggling with the pups, reading Jenna’s stack, and then reading comments.
You are by far my favourite stack. I have many writers that I love, respect, and enjoy, but you get first dibs every morning!
Go get em Trump! BBC is trash and I hope Trumpers bankrupts the slobs! 🙏💯❤️🤯🙄😎
Yes. It is one of the MANY "spots of local interest" we will be visiting, as a "family," desperately trying to "get along in public and not embarrassing our parents."
I was in a comment spar some weeks ago with a pro-BBC nitwit who actually said that my position of BBC bias couldn’t be right because they are legally mandated to be fair.
Pretty sure I’m legally mandated not to exceed 70mph on the highway too, so…..
Believe me, the petty part of me tried looking through my “likes” pile to find it, but the lazy part of me said screw it and gave up after about 2 minutes.
What’s that old Twain quote about arguing with idiots or wrestling with pigs? Yeah, that.
My friend, I’m reminded of that scene where it says “Guys work smarter, not harder”, and seeing the remote all the way across the coffee table, the guy uses his toe to tip the table down near him, causing the remote to slide toward him, easing his reach and avoiding him having to get up.
This is the nature of men, evolved from efficiency of need and avoidance of expending crucial resources. This is why we don’t change out all of the pillows in a room just because they clash with the seasonal decorations someone else put out.
Save your energy for the hunt. That’s what I keep telling myself.
All that, or I could have just written “Bruh. 👊”, and I know you’d understand.
Your picture of man's evolution is astute. Women evolved along a different path. I raptly await your explanation.
I may have mentioned this. My picture of manhood is all the men in the world marching alongside each other (curiously called "abreast" (???)), each aware and prepared that his fellow on either side might stumble and ever ready to assist, but simultaneously determined not to stumble and burden either at his side. Nothing is said. It would be too girly.
(We none of us know where we're marching incidentally, only to keep marching and to keep the line straight.)
the BBC was banned from Israel a couple of times over the years, for what Israel said was bs coverage. Just saying. Not the first time the BBC has been called out.
They will eventually (if not already) have chips in road signs that can transmit info to cars. But that means it can also do it in reverse. *gulp* Convenience meets scary.
Well, I now have a 2013 Odyssey also, that's taking a bit of the load off my 1996 Civic. They both might last the rest of my lifetime (if I can still get parts) but I am looking forward to fully autonomous vehicles (just at an affordable price and gas powered).
The challenge is the large gaps between signs when you aren't quite sure what the speed limit is at that portion of the highway. Intelligent cars won't have forgetfulness, they will remember what the last sign told them.
And the chip can let the smart car know how many miles the speed limit remains in force. This may be a benefit to me because for some reason I NEVER see a speed limit sign when I’m actively looking for one. Literally never. 🤣
Yes, I would actually really like this. I drive back and forth on "12" between South Dakota and Minnesota frequently. The same highway bounces around between 30 (or maybe 35) mph through some towns, 50 mph through other towns, 55, 60, 65 or 70 along different stretches of the highway. It's very difficult to know what your speed is supposed to be at any particular location.
It pains me to admit that Google Maps will show the speed limit and your speed while in navigation. It can be nice when you suddenly see the police behind you....
I can forsee the day when the Feds mandate speed governors for self-driving cars.. "If it only saves one child's life, it'll be worth it..." Or the car manufacturers will do it for liability reasons.
Don't get me started on a "Canadian Convoy" scenario where your car locks the doors and drives you to jail.... 😉
"Speed limits" may become a part of history. Once everything is self driving, the vehicles will be able to automatically adjust their speed for safety and efficiency. Nice straight stretch of road with no hazards? Zoom, car accelerates up to 120 mph. Deer approaches side of road. Un-zoom, car slows down for safety to reduce the risk of hitting the deer.
No other cars on the road? Zoom faster. Crowded traffic? Automatic slow down. It will be very nice and dramatically improve safety.
Had a huge buck jump directly in front of my car today while I was going 60 miles an hour. Don’t think any kind of genius Car could’ve seen that coming! I’m fine but my car has major boo-boos. 😢
Sorry, Eli. FWIW, I've--stupidly--decided that "55" is the magic number at which to avoid deer: I mean "how else?" could Jimmy C. have come up with that number?
Uh oh! Not good! I'm sure Elon has a solution in the works. I know, we'll just "chip" all the wild animals! {grin} (I hope nobody takes me seriously about that)
Ha -- the folks who think that the way to reduce the deer population is through birth control, like hysterectomies, instead of just shooting them and eating them, would probably like that idea.
I'm wondering if smart cars know enough not to put on the brakes in a situation where a deer jumps out with less than a second before you'll hit it? I had zero time to react, so I just plowed into it at full speed, which turned out to be safe for me and fatal for the deer. If the stupid car puts on the brakes, that would obviously be very dangerous for the driver. But would a smart car say "oh, something big to hit. we'll just go ahead and hit it."? Will it be able to evaluate quickly that it's a deer and not a brick wall? Hmmm. . . even if my (2017) car is totaled, I'm getting it back on the road. Don't want no extra "smarts" in my ride!
There was actually an article in Popular Mechanics about this 20-30 years ago. It was basically an autonomous driving cars only express lane. By electronically linking all the cars together they could operate like a train; faster speeds and no large spaces between the cars.
I've discussed this concept with several people. I think it would be a fantastic approach. The problem is that it's probably cheaper to just get autonomous driving implemented and approved than to build dedicated lanes. Autonomous driving is already safer than human driving, in a year (maybe two) it will be staggeringly safer!
I think the two concepts could be combined. If you don't trust it on the city streets, etc, then keep driving like usual but for major interstate trips, build the dedicated lanes and use them for super safe long trips - which would be FAR faster (and more relaxing).
We’re living in The Running Man. “Lights on, Alexis!” Nothing is real. They see, hear, and track everything. They “craft” what we see online and on social media (good reason to stay off both). They can even see through our WALLS, for God’s sake. Nothing on MSM is real. Nothing. Nada. Zero. Zilch.
That’s why I come here. Between Jenna, Jeff Childers, and some of the docs I follow, I feel like I get some semblance of truth and reality. And for THAT, I thank you.

Lifelong liberal progressive who never knew anything other than the truth of MSM! it goes deep when you grow up that way and you are surrounded by that and everyone you are friends with thinks that way. When you're on the very blue side of the divide, you know nothing else. My aawakening began when I realized that Democrats think it's okay to force people into getting shots whether or not they want them. And that opened the floodgates.
It's just horribly weird thinking about the fact that they'll see this BBC thing and think that Trump is a monster who is merely trying to silence the media.
When you know, you know. Most of us have known for so many years that the mainstream Mockingbird whore media have doctored and clipped and pastedTrump‘s speeches and interviews to fit their left wing narrative. It’s the same as lying, and defamation in my opinion. Glad this is finally making mainstream headlines. Anyone in media who does this needs to be fired. But I guess that would be everyone in mainstream media. Would it be so bad if they were all fired?
We were on a road trip in 2022 and were walking along the battlefield at Antietam. A man walked by us with a shirt that said "The media is the virus". Oh how right he was!! I've never seen that shirt for sale anywhere -- I wonder why??
It's a sad state of affairs when someone cries about the media being corrected. This is where our country is going.... Let's tell our version of the truth and manipulate people into believing what we want them to believe. It's pathetic.
The media’s behavior towards Trump reminds me of a a joke I heard years ago about when you hate someone no matter what they do it bothers you … “all that breathing…in and out, in and out…all day long…it is so annoying….”
That’s because Trump is living in their brains rent free 24/7. For some, only death will throw him out. I know one such. I never see a return to sanity in this one. Unfortunately a close relative.
oh man, me as well, Janet! a very close female friend (who doesn't think she needs to look at any media that doesn't reinforce her perspective) actually said to me that she wishes DJT dead, that nothing will be okay until he is dead. I was like: WOW! only thing I could think to say in the moment was, 'you feeling that way doesn't effect him but it surely does effect YOU'.
I very distinctly remember President Trump giving his speech to go home peacefully on J6 in real time because I was keeping an eye on all of that going on (and my cousin and I figured out by that evening that the whole event was Nancy Pelosi's Reichstag Fire). The speech was immediately yeeted from social media and YT in a stunning display of censorship, and I've spent the last five years being told to shut up when I pointed out to idiot normies that no, President Trump did NOT call for violence that day.
So, thank you President Trump for giving me the opportunity to be a petty, salty beach who can officially throw it back in their faces that I was Right All Along. This is exactly what I voted for and I'm through being polite about it.
I watched the edit in its entirety on the news Monday.
They played the first part you quoted then, they strung on the, “fight like hell” part from 57 min. later, totally unrelated. I KNEW he never called everyone to arms!
Way back when it first happened, some news, Idk which, played his actual speech so I figured it would be settled. (OH, the naïveté!)
Next thing I knew, he was magically saying, “We march, and I’m going to be with you, and we fight like hell!”
SAME with the thing in North (or South?) Carolina. On one news channel, he said the Proud Boys - or whoever it was, had done a bad thing, totally racist whereas, on the channels hubs, watches all of them
said, “There were GOOD people on BOTH sides” or some such.
That was the day I knew exactly how corrupt MSM truly is, and swore 90% of them off—for good.
I notice a pattern with this administration. Look at how RFK is demonizing big med/pharma simply for denying us cheap and effective meds while simultaneously offering us expensive damaging/lethal treatments. It's a doggone witch hunt!
I somewhat disagree with you on the pettiness comment about Trump. I’m glad he’s fighting back with all the shit that’s been thrown at him. I don’t think it’s “petty“ to defend yourself.
Having been in Scotland as recent as mid August this year I can tell you that the BBC hates Trump.
Seeing what is happening firsthand over there also makes me sad that I have no desire to return to the UK ever again.
Yeah, business as usual, you did another fantastic job at pointing out the hidden in plain sight news (alterations - like a tailor edits one's drawers hahahaha). Accident my butt. Orange Man bad. I agree with the meme that says that all of the media and politicians need to wear a jacket with their sponsors like Nascar does.
Also, I love your usage of the new word "frankensteined," totally justified usage of that term!
Thanks for providing another shot of nasal coffee hahahahaha!!!
Have a lovely wonderful day Jenna and her trusty followers!
My hope is that Trump’s lawsuits will literally end big media’s narrative switching. Now, if he could just end Democrat narrative nonsense.

LOL
Will I need a "rider's license?"
Like the doormat at my neighbors says:
"No Need To Knock, the Dog already knows you're here"
Surveillance Capitalism has got you covered.
PPIF, I'm "aligned" with your sentiments. (Please report me as such.)
Same here, Mary. I started to check
in on her and thought better of it, imagining four hundred fifty something people electronically tapping her shoulder, “Are you ok, because we have needs, ya know!” 😉
🤣🤣🤣👍❤️
"Yes, I get it: you're in intensive care... ...any thoughts on 'the latest'?"
😝😝😝
It’s sweet, isn’t it💕.
It sure is!
This is a wonderful community of friends!
It really is. ❤️❤️❤️
It's really weird 'cause I thought the msm was so balanced and trustworthy.
Color me shocked.
If it gives the "journalism" outlets pause before they willfully and purposefully defame a conservative, it'll be good.
Same here, Jenna. I had a busy hectic morning, so I didn’t look for your stack until later in the day! Nada! Then it magically appears in my inbox. Phew 😌

Day/week/month MADE! :)
Thank my dear Lord my calling is farming, gardens and such. I answer to no humans!
I am perfectly fine with a chicken’s eggs and a cow’s utter needing picked and milked.
The mere thought of having to drop a stack every single morning, five days a week makes me have shivers.
God bless you Jenna.
KatW: 'you're doing it wrong': check out cow's UDDER! (I think you're DICTATING into an idiotphone...)
"...until ALMOST 8 am!"
You SPEAK for us, our darling!
Mary Ann C., WE are going to meet...
"Ottumwa in '26."
Ottumwa in Iowa? Isn't that where Radar O'Reilly was from? LOLOL
Yes. It is one of the MANY "spots of local interest" we will be visiting, as a "family," desperately trying to "get along in public and not embarrassing our parents."
Checks and balances... checks and balances. It seems we have a president willing and capable of checking and balancing media propaganda.
Score one for Trump!
Hallelujah !

My friend, I’m reminded of that scene where it says “Guys work smarter, not harder”, and seeing the remote all the way across the coffee table, the guy uses his toe to tip the table down near him, causing the remote to slide toward him, easing his reach and avoiding him having to get up.

Wait... are you telling me speed limit signs are just suggestions and hints? 😇
That brings me to a new question. Will fully autonomous driving cars strictly obey speed limits? Or will the robot cars act like humans?
They will eventually (if not already) have chips in road signs that can transmit info to cars. But that means it can also do it in reverse. *gulp* Convenience meets scary.
My 1996 Honda isn't transmitting anything to signs. {grin}
I had that pride with my 2000 Odyssey but she coughed up her soul in Austin TX a couple months ago and never came home 😭😭 She was a good dog
Well, I now have a 2013 Odyssey also, that's taking a bit of the load off my 1996 Civic. They both might last the rest of my lifetime (if I can still get parts) but I am looking forward to fully autonomous vehicles (just at an affordable price and gas powered).
John, BIG question: "who's parts: the rides' or yours?"
(Your fans want to know.)
"She died... ...in Jenna's hometown..."
You lucky dog...

See my comment to John...

The "locked doors" and free ride to jail is a fun interesting speculation. That should show up in a movie soon.

Everyone has a favorite fantasy, John. Sometimes, those are "just numbers" painted on the speed-o-meter...
Aren't the modern speed-o-meters LCDs? Just electronic displays? AI could be lying to us just like our mechanical speed-o-meters do!
Point ceded. ("What a maroon!" to quote The Greatest Rabbit of Our Time.)

{laugh}
That’s what they all
Believe. My Irish friend said the exact same thing. Even her Brit hubby had to laugh.
Too funny!!!
You can’t reason with Propagandists (liars). You can’t shame Propagandists (liars). But, you can sue Propagandists (liars) into Oblivion.
It turns out that it’s always about the money!

Nope. It would be mostly like that tree-falls-in-the-forest thing, with no one there to care.
Just two of MANY examples: “Suckers and losers”, “very fine people,” our own media was splicing and dicing the truth into a false narrative first.
Makes me really miss Walter Cronkite and Paul Harvey (esp for "The Rest of The Story)
