Those millions of Americans who suffered under Jim Crow and segregation are either dead or in nursing homes at this point. And segregation was not practiced in every corner of America, either. At my junior year prom, the queen was the whitest white girl you can imagine, while the prom king was black. They slow-danced together and no one rioted, burned down the town, or marched in protest. That was 1964. So, sorry not sorry, AOC.

Opposite my graduation in 1974. I even remember their names but all I’ll say the Queen was black and the King was white and our class was colorblind. I was proud of what we as a country were becoming and I’m sorry I’ve lost that pride. I hope all of the will restore it before I die but I’m not optimistic.

There are always exceptions to comments meant as broad generalizations. Nonetheless it’s probably accurate to say that there is no one alive who lived through Jim Crow, a 19th century phenomenon.

Me too. I mute and disappear her whenever she soils my ears or eyes. Lots of the left is receiving my opinion. BUT I prayed for my voice to not remain silent by my own cowardice. Surprisingly, that has started to happen in little ways. Christ promised that the words would be supplied. Just open your mouth. This is the true battle now—between good and evil. I see God has given us a push and head start in this very dangerous time. It should be very clear now.

I am driving, so I will have to wait to read the article. Just based on the headline alone that’s disgusting… But also our entire government has chosen not to honor him by putting forward yet another official lie in regards to his death.. We as Citizens have been forced to accept the official story for more than a century when there is never any evidence to support it. There is only ever evidence to support the contrary. Since the day of his assassination, I have had to watch Charlie die what is pretty close to probably 1000 times. I have spoken to dozens of people that I regard as highly intelligent and not one of them myself included sees any plausible way that the official story is credible. As an understatement, I have shot tens of thousands of rounds from every imaginable Caliber weapon and I am intimately familiar with what most of them will do in any given scenario. If Charlie’s body managed to stop that projectile as we are told, his body would’ve been thrown through the tent behind him.. full stop. Charlie was shot with a small bore rifle from the right side And what we all saw was the exit wound. The entry has now been illustrated by a number of people from a couple different angles by going frame to frame. Furthermore, there has been some extremely elaborate work done with the acoustics(all matching) From multiple video sources that illustrate the shot was much closer than 200 yards. You are being lied to again. Also, F AOC.

Jenna,

Thanks for tackling the difficult topics, and if possible, finding a drop of humor (or two) to bring levity.

People (and especially leaders) need to evolve, or ultimately they die off. Whether it be the stump they preach from or the life they live, without evolution (just like viruses) they'll hit the ultimate dead end.

I believe Charlie Kirk was (within the last 6 months) in front of a crossroads, that being sidestepping genocide or adhering to the $$ that supported his platform/goals.

He was evolving, maturing, challenging dogma, and praying for clarity and the best path forward.

I believe he pivoted (evolved) and it became precarious, difficult, and sometimes impossible to keep his talisman in front of him vs. continuing to stay the course of days long since passed.

I believe there is more to this loss of life, as horrible as it is.

We as citizens lack the required honest clarity as to exactly what happened from our (FBI, really?) investigators and therefore government.

Why, not dissimilar to 9/11, was there a rush to wipe clean the location of the shooting and cement over the place of his final platform?

Where's the bullet(s), forensics, autopsy, witness testimony from those present, video captured by others in the audience (smell a rat yet)??

I too need to keep reading, questioning, learning, evolving.

MADHAVA SETTY, MD

https://madhavasetty.substack.com/p/how-do-we-know-what-i-s-r-e-a-l

took a nice go at this in his posting above.

Like many have said, we may be at the beginning of an ending dogma and evolving into a new reality.

Charlie Kirk, RIP

Is it fair to say he originally associated Hamas with all Palestinians?

Expand full comment
TheGreatAwakening's avatar

I do not know, but there is no genocide occurring in Gaza (I assumed that was what you meant, but you were not specific), and 80% of Gazans support Hamas' murderous activities of October 7th, so even if he did, he would have been 80% correct. Remember that Gazans voted Hamas into power.

Also know that there is Gaza and the West Bank, which is run by the PLO, and both are considered "Palestine", so your question has an inaccurate basis as is your use of the word "genocide" for what is going on in "Gaza" (again, not all of Palestine.) Facts matter, and getting facts correct is important.

As always, more food for thought:

https://thinkingcoalition.substack.com/p/charlie-kirks-life-insurance

Writer Alex Kriel:

"I have stayed out of the Charlie Kirk event and avoided looking too closely at the multitude of theories about what exactly happened on 10th September 2025. I took on board some good advice from my colleague William Briggs who writes the Science is Not the Answer substack1.

I could now post an amazing piece of click-bait along the lines that “Charlie Kirk’s life insurance policy due to pay out tens of millions disappears just three days before his death!” and include the “absolutely explosive” evidence below that his company GGLF 2023 which held a life insurance policy likely worth tens of millions “disappeared” on 7th September 2025."

Read on to enjoy the fun.

How about being shot a “close range” with a small caliber weapon? Not from hundreds of yards away. And where’s the bullet? And what did the autopsy reveal? The results that have never been published. And the whole things was “case closed” in a matter of a few days. And they didn’t preserve the crime scene. The school poured concrete over the platform he was standing on. So many holes in the narrative.

Dude, Methinks thou doth protest too much. Did I mention his wounds at all? Did I question the idea of a different perpetrator or gun? No, all I did was challenge this one sentence in your comment “If Charlie’s body managed to stop that projectile as we are told, his body would’ve been thrown through the tent behind him.. full stop.” Yet you obviously sidestepped-that. If you are trying to convince people, it’s best not to use hyperbolic assertions that have been disproved by physics. While I don’t doubt you have fired tens of thousands of rifle rounds, my assumption is that none of those have been fired into living people, so I’m wondering where your contention that “If Charlie’s body managed to stop that projectile as we are told, his body would’ve been thrown through the tent behind him—full stop.” I think you’re ignoring Newton’s Third Law of Motion, if it would have blown Kirk backward through the tent, it would also knock the shooter down with equal and opposite momentum, which doesn’t happen. The bullet’s velocity, when it hits the target, is lower than when it leaves the muzzle — so the momentum imparted to the target is less than the recoil momentum experienced by the shooter, and it’s the momentum transfer that determines how much an object can be moved, so that portion of your argument does not comport with physics.

Clearly, you don’t know how the firearm works in the first place. Clearly, you have no experience or knowledge of any ballistic tests gel or otherwise. The 30.06 has been around for over a century,1906 to be exact, long used because of its devastating effects. it has been used in two world wars and has taken millions of animals over the past century on this continent and others. The exit wound would’ve been the back of his head and half of his neck. I hunt deer with a slower lighter round because the 30.06 Always leaves a giant crater on exit. Go do a google image search for “30.06 exit wound”….

Impact at 200 yards is still significant enough to defeat almost all body armor, the meat,(not bone) of a man’s neck CANNOT stop this projectile. An average of 1500 ft lbs at 200 yards distributed by an object.308 inches in diameter is a lot. Trying to stop it from traveling 2400 fps to 0 with 4-5 inches of meat isn’t a thing. His head slumped towards the reported direction of the entry point…also not a thing.

Here’s Google misunderstanding my question but getting the point. “”The phrase "1500 ft lbs" is a measurement of energy, not force, and an impact of that magnitude would not simply knock someone over—it would be catastrophic. For context, a 9mm handgun round delivers about 400 ft lbs of energy, while a .357 Magnum can reach nearly 600 ft lbs. An impact of 1500 ft lbs is equivalent to or even exceeds the muzzle energy of an AK-47. “

Ak shoots 7.62x39; pale in comparison to 30.06

What this assassination accomplished, well beyond any expectations, was to expose the contrast between the right and the liberal progressive left. The left has been revealed to be heartless, disgraceful, belligerent, unhinged, despicable and psychopathic. I could argue that every Democrat would have voted against honoring Charlie Kirk, but they are already up against the wall politically and yet another bad decision such as rejecting common decency would have been the end for the party.

Lauren Underwood, who championed health care for all the people and the rest of the crap she weaseled around about. have a GOP now. Sadly, another cold heart Sean Casten, (Illinois, again) who should know intimately about the utter grief and loss of a close family member, when his 17 year old daughter went to bed one night and never woke up, soon after her Covid jab in 2021. Doctors were baffled. That is never mentioned, but a strong case could probably be made that she was murdered as well. He’s the one I may remind that having a sense of someone’s even basic humanity is important if they are in a seat of power. How could he forget that. Sad, isn’t it?

". . . But, in a larger sense, we can not dedicate-we can not consecrate-we can not hallow-this ground. The brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated it, far above our poor power to add or detract."

Charlie was so much better than most of them, that their recognition of him means little in my mind. Does he deserve it? Of course. But honestly he deserves so much more.
